Honestly, I literally see this all the time and it breaks my heart. I literally see how at night a lone woman will literally cross the street to avoid me sometimes and I know it’s because of their individual experience and has nothing to do with who I am as I appear cis male (especially at night when my own garb is more cis for my own safety) and it’s so sad to see that we have to have this extra consciousness, a fear that literally drives us sometimes.
