San Francisco Here We Come!
I'm not gonna lie, Steph and I haven't been as active on the blog the last few months but we aren't short of updates. To keep things nice and simple, let's do a rapid fire set of updates to get you up to speed.
I left ONOSYS at the end of August and took a nice and long reflective four day weekend off, before joining our new start-up, Scout RFP.
After that weekend, Alex & I decided we wanted to head west to see if we can impress any west coast investors.
Long story short - Success. After being there for about 5 days we got funded by some pretty awesome investors (announcement coming this month). It was a pretty crazy story to tell but that's for another time or maybe over drinks.
So what does one do after you get funded by Silicon Valley investors one might ask? Well, we decided to move to San Francisco! So that's what we're doing right now. I'm actually writing this blog post on the flight there!
We found a condo in South Beach that we are renting for the next 7 months. I'm on my way there & Steph is now hitting the books to take the California boards in February.
So, our first big adventure this year is moving out to San Francisco. I would say that's a pretty good start.
I'm going to stay busy this year with building the company and travel. Steph is going to rock her boards next month and then move out here and become a wine expert. Why not, you're in wine country! Additionally, we will be exploring the west coast and maybe adding one or two trips to Asia since we are a direct flight away from some amazing cities.
So, that's all folks! We're going to be updating the blog much more frequently from our new hometown.
