“What do people consistently misunderstand about you?”

Karlie: You know, it’s a funny thing, my career started in 2007, social media was not a thing nobody cared what models thought. I guess I say this because I feel like people don’t actually know me the way that you guys actually know me.

“You don’t give a lot. You’re not over sharing on Instagram.“

Karlie: I really value my private real life and I also think that the enormous amount of attention all at once sort of overwhelmed me and gave me PTSD from actually letting people in and I think because of that, people sort of don’t feel like they really know me.

“Do you want people to feel like they know you?”

Karlie: I’m just authentically who I am, I just don’t want to be judged for things that I have nothing to do with. That is the only thing that’s been frustrating.
