Jade could not believe she was finally free of the suburbs. Her lifelong dream of calling the city her home had finally come to fruition. 

Despite being excited about becoming a city resident, she was also nervous about the transition. Not only did she have to adjust to city life, she had to adjust to her new job as an influencer. 

Jade wasn’t used to all the uncertainty she was feeling; she was accustomed to being extremely self confident. 

“Hopefully this transition won’t be too overwhelming. Hopefully I can find my place in this bustling place and make a name for myself,”  she thought to herself.

A few weeks had passed since Jade and Winston moved into their quaint bungalow in Brindleton Bay. One afternoon, her cell phone rang. When she picked up, there was a man on the other line she didn’t recognize.

“Is this Jade Kelley,” he asked.

“Yes, this is she,” she answered with a bit of uncertainty.

The unknown man went on to explain that he was a recruiter for a marketing company interested in hiring influencers and how he felt she would be a perfect fit for the position. The more and more he spoke, the more and more Jade was overcome with excitement.

“Really?! A position as an influencer in the city?!” exclaimed Jade.

“So…is that a yes?” responded the man on the phone.

Jade could not believe that she was FINALLY going to move out of the suburbs. Her dream of moving to the city had finally came true.

Jade is from the quaint, quiet town of Brindleton Bay. She just recently moved out her parent’s house and adopted a cat, Winston, to keep her company as she adjusts to life on her own.

Despite living in a small, suburban town, Jade has always dreamt of being in the lime light. She is extremely confident and has a big ego, a result of being the IT girl in high school. She hopes that her time in Brindleton Bay is coming to an end and will be able to finally move to the city.

She dreams of being an actress, but lacks the connections to land any gigs. To make these connections, she has become a social media influencer. Will she become that award winning actress she dreams of being? Or will she forever be stuck in the small town she grew up in and resort to becoming a cat lady?

Only time will tell..
