Anna: It's something I always liked doing, yeah. And if I'm good at it then why not? Oh Gavin :P I'm the lead in a Broadway play. I 100% sing.

Gavin: Whaaaat? So not only are you a broadway star, you're in like movies too?! How did I not know this? What movies are you in? I feel like I got to watch them.

Anna: Mhm! There was three notable ones (though two were semi-smaller roles) [insert 3 names here]

Gavin: On both occasions. So you just went from like high school to Broadway or... how'd you get there so fast?

Anna: Oh, no. I went from elementary school to small films to the big screen to Broadway lol

Gavin: You home?

Anna: It stays on vibrate in my dressing room while I'm on stage :P

Gavin: The pizza guy.

She flirts and immediately blushes and Gavin thinks it’s incredibly cute. He takes her card and runs it before he hands it back. He’s skeptical if he should flirt back, because she seems so embarrassed, but he knows that if he had done that and the girl didn’t say anything, he would probably die. He gives her a big grin.

“I don’t really know that much about you, but if you’d like to change that….” He trails off, unsure how forward he should be. She was an actress (thanks facebook), but he still wasn’t sure on her classification – not all her info had been that accessible (thanks, not, google).

Their fingertips brush when he hands the card back and she can’t help but to jump slightly at the spark of electricity that radiates between them. This was certainly not how she expected today to go. God, what was she doing?

His words catch her almost off-guard and for a moment she just stares at him wide eyed before she realizes what she needs to do. Taking a quick breath for courage, she pulls a spare slip of paper out from her jeans and scrawls her number on it. “If you’d like to...” She smiles. “You can text me sometime.”

Anna/Gavin F2F 4/12/18

Gavin had an 8 - 9:50 class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, his only class that day before he rushed to get to his job by 10:30am. He was kind of regretting the choice now because it made Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays hell with 4 classes back to back, but as a college kid with only himself and a few scholarships paying his way, a guys got to do what a guys got to do. He smiled when a girl he recognized made her way in.

“Buffalo pizza and a pepsi, right?” He mentioned, already ringing her up before she even got to the register. Gavin had peaked at the card to get her name and he might have Facebook-stalked her a little (just enough to find out if she had a boyfriend), but he hadn’t worked up the courage to do anything more than good customer service.

Anna felt a slight blush rise to her cheeks as he recalled her order effortlessly, but she did her best to remind herself that this was the ninth time she’s gotten pizza here on a Thursday, and at least the third that he’s taken her order. She gives a coy smile. “Is that the only thing you remember about me?”

Oh god. Where had that come from? She certainly was not the type to usually play coy and flirt, especially with someone she didn’t know. This wasn’t part of her Thursday ritual. Oh god oh god oh god. She extended her card toward him to pay, the blush on her cheeks darkening as she had a moment of inner panic.

[When Anna had come to New York to perform on Broadway she’d promised herself one thing - she wouldn’t lose herself in the show business world. It was the same thing she’d promised herself before every gig she had in LA and it wasn’t about to change now because it worked. To that affect, she found herself walking to the pizza place by her apartment to start her Thursday (outside of the house) the same way she always did - by buying a large buffalo chicken pizza with bacon added on and ranch swirled on top and a 20 fl oz bottle of Pepsi - the only soda she allowed herself to drink. She tugged the door to the shop opened and greeted the semi-familiar looking cashier with a smile.]

Morning! Er... afternoon, I guess. [She giggled a little.]

Between Cooper and my new job, walking dogs, I just might be able to get myself a job working for the ODB Foundation! The owner of the cocker spaniel I walk works for a company that works with ODB and is going to call and give a good word when I apply tonight! Fingers crossed.
