Tahitian (also called Te Reo Tahiti) is a Polynesian language with 68,000 native speakers as of 2007. It is spoken mainly on the Society Islands of French Polynesia. The language is written in the Latin script because there was no written form of it until it was transcribed by Western missionaries.

Side note: wow, is it hard to find resources for this language on the Internet! There are plenty of books you can purchase on Amazon or at Barnes and Noble. However, I think most of us are more fond of free resources, which make up the majority of what I’ve compiled. Note that I scoured the Internet for days, and this is all I could come up with. I wish you all the best of luck in learning this beautiful language!

just found out that there were terms equivalent to femme and butch in Korean language used within the lesbian community during the 1970s-80s; 

Lesbians in Korea at the time would often refer to themselves and each other as 치마씨 (chima-sshi = Ms Skirt) or 바지씨 (baji-sshi = Ms Pants) depending on how they presented themselves. Those in between were called 반바지씨 (banbaji-sshi = Ms Shorts) ! my heart feels tenderized.

like just about everything in the german language this is something that can seem quite confusing at first but its actually pretty logical and straightforward :’)

the ending of ein changes depending on the gender and case of the noun being referred to. its important to note that the genitive masculine and neuter forms are eines and not einen
