love that the supergirl movie confirms that kryptonians aren’t weird ubermensch fascists and clark’s parents were just weird. Like they were just Scientologists or something

Young Justice Fashion week 2026 Monday - Mentor switch!
What better way to start fashion week than with absolute chaos!!!
The c4 gang has been hit wih the good ole power switcheroo and have no other choice but to swap mentors and dress accordingly. Some are having an easier time addapting to powers (or lack of) than others (Tim keeps tripping and Cassie keeps jumping off high places) and others are facing challenges with equipment and accessories (Kon is really bad at controlling the lasso without TTK and Bart has never had a cape before).
But it's their freshly acquired mentors that are honestly suffering the most xD
Dw about Kon, he's staying far far away from Themyscira ;)
And Cassie goes by Wonderbat while in Gotham ✨🦇
Never forget that the first ever Superman fan convention was held at a synagogue in Ohio.

And the first comic book convention was held at a Jewish fraternity.

And Siegel and Shuster gave much of their Superman profits for tzedakah.

It's frying me that they rebooted Batman only for people to be like ngl Fraction's Batman kinda sucks.

manifesting some crazy angst like this if they kill him at the end of bnd🫶
Xmen boldly dares to imagine a world where gay people have cool laser powers that they can attack bigots with, then proceeds to not have them use said cool laser powers on the bigots but rather on other bitchier gay people who do want to use the cool laser powers on bigots
Batman #484

The reclusive creator talks about 'X-Men: Elsewhen,' his new and possibly final comics project. He also expounds on his worst comic experien
Wait, the John Bryne who despite being an England-born Canadian who moved to the US was so against the idea of Superman being an immigrant that he rewrote his origin so Clark was "born" on America soil, and had him be on friendly terms with Ronald Reagan?
The John Byrne whose argument with an elderly Jack Kirby over creators' rights (Kirby argued that creators who contributed to the success of companies like Marvel and DC should be compensated for their work, Byrne argued that Kirby and others of his generation were aware they were "work for hire" and they should be grateful for what they got) lead to Byrne writing a Superman comic where the character is mindcontroled into having sex with Big Barda, a character that Kirby based off of his wife?
That John Byrne?
hey 😞 was there a comic where Dick sees some kind of weird hellish creatures/is in some hellish place and says/thinks something like "oh great, bludhaven"
I hope I didn't make it up in my head??
I can't recall that specific scene off the top of my head, but I wouldn't be surprised if he said that at some point, considering he once said that hell is better than Bludhaven.
Teen Titans (Vol. 2) #4
@gormlessandeldritch located it for you, anon! It's from The Titans #4.
Young Justice (1998) #32
Characters used to have 75-issue runs then fade into obscurity

absolute batman getting an animated series before actual WONDER WOMAN. insanity
krypto the super dog is getting an animated show before wonder woman. btw
I should make a compilation post of all the times Dick has told Bruce that the love and attention Bruce gave him during his childhood is the reason Dick didn't turn out like him
the whiplash from dick thinking about how he's one of the non-corrupt police officers in the bludhaven pd to dick finding out that bruce has been arrested for murder to dick immediately going to bribe the person who manages the shifts so he can go to gotham is truly worth considering re: dick's absolute prioritization of bruce over everything else he's trying to do
