The problem with people these days

So honestly I cant get on social media anymore for one reason.  People have no work ethic and it makes me sick. Every day I see someone saying they want to quit there job for a stupid reason. There boss yelled at them for doing something wrong, they dont like there coworkers, they just dont feel like working, or my personal favorite is when I ask people why they quit they say "idk I just wasn't feeling it". It is breathtaking to see how many people in this country are just lazy. My mom raised me and my brothers by herself on a secretary pay grade while going to school. She would work 16, 17 hour days come home make us dinner read us a story and put us to bed and not once while I was growing up did I hear her say she was going to quit. Sure she complained but when she did she would go to sleep get up the next day and go to work. BECAUSE THATS HOW THE WORLD WORKS PEOPLE.  Im 20 working three jobs and trying to start my own business.  The only reason I quit a job is because I found a better one and I already applied and got it. And even when that happens I still dont quit if I can find a way to do both of them. Jobs suck. They are supposed to.  If they didnt suck then we wouldn't get paid for them. The reason immigrants are able to come and "take our jobs" is because no American wants to do the hard work anymore.  We all want the jobs where we come in goof around a while and then go party after. That mindset is what I believe is ruining our country and it gets more and more prevalent with each passing year. So I guess what im trying to say is. Stop being so fucking lazy get off your privileged behind and go to work get a straw and suck it up.

The crisis facing California sea lions

State officials have declared an “unusual mortality event” for California sea lions, after an unusually high number of pups barely clinging to life have recently washed ashore.

For a sense of the sheer number of pups who have reportedly been found washed up:

In Los Angeles County, nearly 400 pups have been stranded since the beginning of the year. Last year, 36 were reported during that stretch.

As of March 24, officials said, 214 sea lions were reported stranded in San Diego County, 189 in Orange County, 108 in Santa Barbara County and 42 in Ventura County.
