Over the years I’ve heard many powerful speeches from incredible individuals shinning a light the injustices in the world.
Highlighting anything from the peril’s of #War, the #Environment, #gayrights to #Civilrights.
Speech’s by #StephenFry, #TonyBenn, #SachaBaronCohen, #GloriaSteinem #GretaThunberg to name but a few.
I recently watched the speech that was delivered by American civil rights activist and Baptist minister, #MartinLutherKingJr during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in August 1963. In the speech, King called for civil and economic rights and an end to racism in the United States… To this day it’s incredibly powerful and relevant.
