Semi-Hiatus Notice
I have put all of my blogs on either Hiatus or Semi-Hiatus status because my surgery is tomorrow. I won't be around too much afterward, at least for a few days. It is possible that in my recovery time my muse could deplete or flourish, I can't be sure either way. Regardless, I will be lurking and if I am needed I can still be reached at this blog or any other that is on Semi-Hiatus notice. I am also more than happy to give my Skype to anyone who may need me.

Fiona Gallagher. Mother. Medical Intern at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.
Growing up Fiona always knew she wanted to do something great with her life. At fifteen she decided to become a doctor. She was seventeen when she decided she wanted to be an Endocrinologist.
One of the biggest reasons Fiona decided to be a doctor was because of the fact her parents were deadbeats. For the better part of her life, Fiona was left alone to fend for herself. Her mother was a psychotic drug addict and her father an alcoholic.
When her parents were around, her life was a living hell. When she was fifteen she was taken from her home by a neighbor and for the first time in her life she was safe. The neighbor who rescued her was a doctor, she taught Fiona everything she knew.
The woman passed away not two years later. This was when Fiona decided to follow in the woman's footsteps, to carry on her legacy. The woman had never had a family of her own and so everything she owned she left to Fiona. She used the money that was left to her to college, to begin the career that she knew was right for her.
While she was in college Fiona had a short fling with one of her professors, resulting in her son Liam. It nearly changed her entire life plan, but right after she gave birth she was accepted as an intern as PPTH.
It seemed to be fate. So she took the internship, deciding that if she made it through and she became a doctor it would be the best life she could give her son.
That is where she currently is in her life. Medical Intern at PPTH, raising a son who is just barely a year old.

All I want is some really cheesy love story where someone pulls Fiona out of this fucking funk she’s in and makes her realize how stupid she’s being. She could meet someone in jail or when she gets out - whatever. It could be someone she knew before hand….
She would fight them at first - of course - ignore there advice, saying she can make her own decisions. But they’d keep trying. They wouldn’t give up, they wouldn’t leave. Those are some of her biggest fears, falling for someone who will give up on her or leave. But this person wouldn’t. They’d stay and keep trying. Maybe even sit back and let her hit rock bottom, knowing that it’s the only way for her to truly realize how fucked her situation is
And when she did they’d be there to help put the pieces together, to help her get better. And slowly she’d fall for them, but she’d try to deny it because she doesn’t wan to fall in love.
She’d get better, she’d get her family to trust her again, she’d be back to her normal self. The Fiona everyone knows and loves. And this person would see her for the first time as her true self, they’d see how she is with her kids and how selfless she is for them and how much she regrets everything and they’d fall even more in love with her.
But of course she’d try to distance herself. She’d say it was because she didn’t want to bring anyone into the kid’s lives who could hurt them but, let’s be honest, she’d be scared.
Eventually she would see that this person is great. Good with the kids, good for her, and she’d just know they weren’t going to leave. Little by little she’d let her guard down, she’d open up to them. Sure, they’d have their fights. With as stubborn as Fi is, how could they not? This person would have to be stubborn as well, to put up with her. But they would.
They’d love the kids like their own and support them and Fi in all of their crazy endeavors…
Ugh! I just want a sappy love story so bad. I want Fi better! Fuck I want it.
