“Then it would be understandable if I took those dragons away from here.” Modi pointed out. He smiled then and turned more to Gustav.
“I’m no dragon expert and I’ll be the first to admit that. But being able to speak with the dragons sure helps.” Modi smirked a little. “But perhaps you can help me with my task.”
"Talk to dragons??" Gustav had heard of a lot of things. But to speak to dragons was a new one. "Are you tricking me or something?" Growing up around Snotlout and the nut twins made him wry of any outlandish claim made by anyone. Which considering just how those three acted it was understandable to be careful.

The northern lights danced across the sky. Shifting colors and shapes as they normally would. That was until some spiraled together into a rainbow pillar and rocketed towards the ground. In a flash, the pillar was gone and the lights returned to normal.
That’s how it always was when the Bifrost opened up. What remained, where the pillar touched the ground, was a scorched emblem that would soon fade. And a young viking god, that glanced to the sky with a cocky grin. Odin wasn’t the only one to travel between the realms. Modi was old enough now to go exploring himself! And Midgard, was his favorite place to be.
“Who’s there?!” Modi demanded, when he heard a sound behind him. He drew his sword, preparing himself for an attack. Nobody was suppose to be around when the Bifrost was open. So who had seen it and came? “Show yerself!”
"Oh yeah. Speed stingers are like that. We do our best to avoid them. Same with some others. We know our ways around them. We know not every dragon is tamable." He smiled softly "they are that bad tho. Since we have dragons that can help us if things get too out of hand."
He went quiet then. "So like. Yeah... We kinda have stuff figured out for the most part. Some stuff we are still learning but not much I think."

Modi couldn’t help the wide smile then. There were more dragon riders here. More than just this one boy and dragon before him. He smile fell a little as Gustav drifted off.
“It’s not hard to understand why they would be seen in such a way. There are some dragons that…truely are monsters. Sadly they were the first to come to this realm.” Modi explained before daring to step closer to Gustav and Fanghook. “But there are a great number of dragons that can be befriended. I am surprised to find that mortals are starting to understand this. Strange, that Heimdall would bring me here with the mission I was given.”
"Even the worst dragons can be understood and respected. We don't hurt a dragon because it's bad. We understand that it's nature is just that. Nature. Does a deathsong deserve death because it eats other dragons? Do changelings for being territorial? Whispering deaths? No. We respect that all they want is their space that is it. We still protect even the dragons that would kill us because they dont deserve to be hurt for their nature."
This was more talking than he normally did. Especially since he was used to having someone tell him to shut up or speak over him. That's when it clicked. He was the only one around that could educate this man about dragons and no one could stop him! Or correct him!

“That would be the bifrost.” Modi nodded and flashed a grin. While Modi still wasn’t too sure about the dragon. He figured, sense it stopped glowing and all, that he didn’t have much to worry about. So he reshethed his sword.
“Can’t a guy explore a few realms for the fun of it?” Modi countered and rested his hand on the hilt of his sword lazily. “Mortals aren’t the only ones with curious natures, ya know. What are ya doin’ way out here…and with a dragon no less! Explain that one to me.”
“I’m a dragon rider. I’m just doing a night scouting for my village. Making sure everything is going okay with the wild dragons.” He wasn’t going to admit he had basically run off. If the man before him was really a god it wouldn’t look good on him.
“My village takes good care to make sure trappers and others don’t hurt the dragons. We aren’t scared of them. At least no longer.” As if to prove it Fanghook relaxed out of his defensive crouch and lifted his head up slightly nudging it against the boy. Who gladly began to rub his chin.
“Once you get to know them. Dragons are nothing more then big babies.”
Modi watched the pair curiously, csnting his head to the side. He wasn’t stupid. He could see these two shared a unique bond in this realm. One he hadn’t heard of happening between men and dragons.
“Wait. There’s more of you?! A whole village of dragon riders?!” Modi asked as curiosity shifted into excitment. “I thought such a thing only existed in Alfheim! That’s the only place dragons seem to get along with anyone.”
"Yeah. I mean I know there's like another village too. But like. They are really weird and not really work with the dragons like we do. And they hate the fact we fly on the backs of dragons. But they are pretty chill overall. The rest of the world hasn't caught up with us though. Most still see dragons as monsters."
He drifted off at the end. Explaining what was going on always made him upset. He loved his dragon. All dragons even. And it sucked he was still not allowed to help out with rescues against those that wish to harm dragons.

“Yer dragon?!” Modi lowered his sword slightly. A look of confusion evident on his face. A dozen questions swirled in the warrior’s head before deciding on how best to answer the boy.
“I am Modi, son of Thor,” He stated boldly and stood tall. “I can by way of the bifrost. I am assuimg that is what you saw, for you to have found me so quickly.”
"Wasn't really looking for someone. I just saw a flash of light. And figured it was a dragon or something. Not. Some. Person." He didn't really believe he was a real god. But he would play along for now.
"What are you doing here then?" he looked at him and suddenly his dragon stopped glowing for now. Almost like he read the boys mind.

Gustav had bolted from Berk after a day filled with mess ups and being yelled at by everyone in the village. (Or at least everyone that was important). The young Viking did his best to hide his tears as he flew on the back of his dragon Fanghook to a semi-remote location to just get away from everyone for the night.
Once they landed the teen slid off his dragon sniffling a little before suddenly noticing a bright flash of light not too far from them. Wondering if was a new dragon or something he hustled over to the location trying his best to be quiet. Though for both him and his dragon being quiet was never a strong trait.
The second they got close enough to see what was going on Fanghook stepped on and broke a branch. Alerting the man to their presence. “By Odin’s beard!” He cursed softly before drawing out his slingshot and loading it with a zippleback gas ball. “Fanghook low flames.” He whispered as his dragon hissing softly started to glow softly as they made their way out to the clearing.
“Who are you?”
Modi tensed when he saw the glow of a dragon. Shit! He forgot about dragons being in Midgard. He wasn’t sure what surprised him more. The dragon…or the boy standing right beside it! Mortals and dragons were enemies. So why was this kid standing so close to one without a snitch of fear?
“You…are aware there’s a dragon right behind you…right?” Modi asked cautiously as he eyed the beast. “And I asked first. Who are ya?”
"I'm Gustav Larson this is my dragon fanghook." He was short with his answer for the other "Now explain to me who you are and how you came to be here. I didn't see a ship or a dragon on this island. So explain yourself."
He didn't fully lower his slingshot or had his dragon stop being lit up. It was a good defense to have at the moment until he knee if this stranger was a friend or foe. But he was glad the man was shaken by the sight of his dragon.

“Alright just offering hate ta have you think I ain’t like nice or something.” He chuckled lightly.
She giggles “You’re very sweet” she said as they walk until they arrive to the cemetery, her smile soon turned into a frown as she gets close to a grave.
He nodded and looked at her quietly as they walked. "So. What's. Ohh." He went quiet figuring it out

Lily was around the streets with a few flowers on her basket, she was walking to the cemetery, it have been a while ever since the last time she have go there.
Ever since her mother passed away and her father left to find a job and never come back, she have been working for a terrible family to pay their debts, it was very exhausting. She need to sew, clean, cook, do a lot of things on that house.
That family was very abusive, always bullying her all the time, she only wants to pay her parents’ debt and get out of that house but unless she manage to get a better job to pay everything, she was forced to stay there.
Her hair was long and white like moon’s dust, her skin pale like a pearl and her eyes were green like emeralds, although her right eye were blind which why part of her hair was covering it.
She keeps walking until she dumped into someone, which causes only Lily to fall on the floor.
“Oh my, I-I’m so s-sorry, I was distracted.” She said to the person she dumped into.

Gustav had not been paying any attention to where he was going, his mind other places as he walked the streets, so when he ran into someone, and they fell before him it took him a minute to realize what had happened.
“No no its okay. It is my fault.” he bent down and helped her up “I wasn’t looking where I was going and didn’t see you. It wasn’t your fault.” he smiled softly.
Lily gets up with his help, she were a bit nervous, she were use to have people to judge her due her looks “Oh hmm, it’s okay. Either way, I’m Lily and you?” she asked as she picks up her basket.
Gustav nodded then smiled. “Gustav. Gustav Larson.” he helped her pick up her basket and anything that had fallen out of it. “So Lily what brought you out here today?”
“Oh hmmm… I was going to visit someone at the cemetery today” she simply replied trying to not make too much eye contact. “Before my mistress noticed I’m gone”
“Your mistress? That is still a thing?” he noticed she didn’t try to keep eye contact but he didn’t mind. “Well, whoever she is if she is that uptight it seems to me you shouldn’t stick with her.”
“I wish but I can’t, you see, my family were very poor when I was a baby so my parents needed money to feed me so they asked for money, they end up having a big debt, my mother died due sickness and my father went to other country to get a job, I end up working for the family until I pay their debt, the husband is very nice to me but I can’t say the same about his wife and daughter” she explained to him “Still, I was use to receive letters from my father but one day he stopped, I still hope that he might came back but it’s been almost fifteen years now”
Gustav listened to her story, and it broke his heart. He could understand feeling lost and alone in the world. While he still had his parents, he felt like they didn’t care about him at all, so it was like he was alone like her at least mentally. “I see.”
“But anyway, I better get going, I still have a lot to do” she said to him as she fixed her raged dress, despise being wearing that she were really pretty. “Would like to join me? it’s been ages since I talk to someone”
"Sure! I wouldn't mind going with you." He smiled softly as he went over to her side "Heck I help you carry stuff if you need it and stuff." He felt a little awkward as this was the first he really talked to a girl that didn't just blow him off at his stupidity.
