and with twelve and missy, that question is perfectly flipped. it’s “what does it mean when an evil person loves a good one.” what does it mean when missy helps the doctor rid earth of the monks because she, by her own admission, wants to change? what does it mean when she rushes toward the doctor, tears in her eyes, at the slightest hint that he might be willing to accept her into his life again? what does it mean when she shows us her very real guilt? does loving a good person make you just a little bit good, too?”
