Triplets (except Kanato?) and Tsukinamis are the ones who are extremely happy and proud in age coming ceremony of demons. Others not so much. Cordelia looks so proud and happy for her children, she looks gorgeous. Christa's anxious and melancholic expression while Beatrix looks so cold. Could it be that Beatrix is upset because Cordelia ruined her plan?đđ (YB). Why Reiji isn't dressed fancyđ¤Like Beatrix didn't even bother dressing this poor boyđ Like even Subaru is dressed well. Tsukinamis look sooo happy and proud to be an adult?(Means they've the right to suck blood and actively participate in politics and war stuff with mature founders) Founder . Kino looks quite sad As if he's been burdened with the future of his ghoul clan and his originđ¤
I wonder if Mukamis photos were taken when they were in orphanage by the orphanage owner đ¤ Poor babies đĽš
I like this new Cordelia and Beatrix's designđ Cordelia's quite modestly, neatly and gorgeously dressed.đ Beatrix's new dress looks good toođ Justice for Christađ She deserved a pretty dress too đ

You didnât like him. Not one bit.
The first time you met Yuma , you didnât even speak to him. You just slapped him.
Heâd made a crude comment about your appearance, mocking the way you carried yourself, as if you were nothing more than a trophy to be admired. He did it in front of everyone, all while leaning against the doorframe, that cocky smirk of his tugging at the corner of his lips. You knew his reputation, the Mukami brothers were known for their arrogance, their sharp tongues, and their ability to get away with anything. But that day? You werenât having it.
Without hesitation, you had stood up, walked right over to him, and slapped him across the cheek. The sound of the hit echoed through the room, and the entire atmosphere shifted.
For a moment, everything was silent. Then, a smirk appeared on his face, as if he had just won some sort of challenge. His eyes glinted with something dangerous, and you could feel that gaze on you even after you had turned and walked away.
âOi, didnât know you had that kind of fire in you,~,â heâd called after you.
But you didnât turn back. You just left, the adrenaline still buzzing in your veins, heart pounding. It had been a reflex, really. You didnât tolerate anyone talking down to you, no matter how charming or infuriating they might be.
The next few days, however, were a different story.
Yuma wasnât the type to let things go. Oh no, far from it. From that moment on, he became an uninvited presence in your life.
Everywhere you went, there he was. Leaning against the doorframe of the dining room. Sprawled out on the sofa in the living room with his legs stretched across the table, eyes half-lidded as he watched you and your friends. Standing in the hallway, just far enough away that you couldnât walk past him without acknowledging him.
His presence was a constant, like an itch you couldnât scratch. He always looked at you with that smirk, as if the entire situation amused him. And he wasnât afraid to make comments, loud ones. About your outfit. About your hair. The way you walked, the way you spoke. Every little thing he could find, he zeroed in on.
You hated it. You hated the way he seemed to enjoy annoying you. But you refused to show any sign of weakness. Every time he tried to get under your skin, you fired back. With a joke, with sarcasm, with a sharp look, you made sure to remind him that he couldnât easily rattle you.
Except, well, maybe there were moments when you almost wanted him to.
It was a quiet afternoon when it happened again.
You were walking through the mansionâs long corridors, trying to escape the loud chatter from the kitchen and the chaos that seemed to follow the other Mukami brothers. You had hoped for a moment of peace, a little solitude in this mansion of oddities and loud personalities. But the moment you turned the corner, you saw him.
Yuma was leaning against the wall, arms crossed, his eyes already locked onto yours.
You sighed inwardly. Of course heâd find you.
âYou again,â you muttered under your breath, not bothering to hide your irritation.
His eyes twinkled with that same mischievous gleam that had been there since the first day you met.
âTch, Iâm starting to think youâre following me around,~,â he teased, a smirk curving his lips.
âIf you really think that, then I must be doing something right,â you shot back, narrowing your eyes.
Yumaâs smirk widened. He pushed off the wall, walking toward you with slow, deliberate steps. Every step he took seemed to close the distance between you, his presence almost overwhelming in the narrow hallway.
âOh? Is that so?â he said, his voice low, like a challenge. âI didnât know I had such an effect on you.â
You stood your ground, your heart rate quickening for reasons you refused to acknowledge.
âYouâre delusional if you think Iâm interested in anything youâve got to offer.â
Yumaâs lips curled into a grin that could only be described as dangerous. He stopped just a few inches away from you, his tall frame looming over you, but he wasnât touching you. Not yet. But the space between you was charged. You could feel it in the air, thick and heavy.
âI know youâre not,â he said, his voice dropping to a near whisper. âBut itâs fun to watch you squirm.â
Your breath caught in your throat, but you held his gaze.
âIâm not squirming,â you snapped, your defiance rising up like a shield. âYou just donât know when to shut up.â
He chuckled, his hand brushing a strand of hair from your face in an almost teasing manner. His fingers were surprisingly gentle against your skin, but there was nothing soft about his expression.
âOh, I know when to shut up,â he said, his gaze locking onto yours with an intensity that sent a shiver down your spine. âBut I like hearing you talk back. Makes it more interesting.â
You tilted your chin up, a mix of irritation and something else flickering in your chest.
âYouâre unbelievable.â
âTch, youâre the one who slapped me,â he reminded you, his voice a little quieter now, almost thoughtful. âI didnât expect that.â
You looked away, trying to shake off the feeling that had crept up on you.
âI donât take kindly to jerks.â
There was a brief silence, and for a moment, you thought maybe youâd said the wrong thing, but then Yuma did something unexpected.
He stepped back, letting out a small laugh.
âTch, yeah. Youâre not like the others, are you,?â
You blinked, caught off guard by the way his tone had softened, just a little.
âWhat does that mean?â you asked, narrowing your eyes, trying to figure him out.
Yuma grinned again, but this time there was something more genuine in it. Something almost like admiration, if only for a moment.
âIt means youâre not as easy to break as the rest of them. I like that.â
You werenât sure whether you should be offended or flattered. Probably both.
âJust donât expect me to fall for your games,â you said firmly.
He tilted his head, eyes flashing with something unreadable.
âOh, Iâm not expecting anything,â he said, his voice low and dangerous. âBut youâre already interesting. And Iâm not the type to walk away from a good challenge.â
Your pulse raced, but you stood firm, even as the tension between you thickened.
âWeâll see about that,â you muttered, turning away, but not before shooting him one last defiant glance.
For a brief moment, Yuma didnât say anything. But you could feel his eyes on your back as you walked away. The game was just getting started.
-------------
It had been weeks since the day Yuma had made that cryptic remark about liking your fire. Since then, the tension between you both had only escalated, and not in the way youâd expected. He was still relentless, still a thorn in your side, still making comments that got under your skin. But something had shifted.
You werenât sure exactly when it happened. Was it after the third time you caught him watching you in the garden while you were tending to the flowers, that sly grin spreading across his face as he pretended to ignore the way your hands moved gracefully? Or was it after the evening when he had leaned dangerously close to you during dinner, his breath brushing your ear as he whispered something teasing, but with an edge of something deeper?
Whatever the moment was, you had felt it. Something changed between you two. The constant bickering no longer felt like simple banter. It felt like foreplay, electric, raw, filled with tension that neither of you was willing to release.
Tonight, you were trying to ignore it all.
The mansion was quieter than usual, most of the brothers off doing their own thing. Youâd retreated to the library for some peace and quiet, curling up in a chair near the window with a book. But of course, the moment you tried to focus, you heard the unmistakable sound of boots hitting the floor.
Yuma.
You closed your eyes in resignation, not wanting to deal with him â not after the last time heâd barged in, leaning on the doorframe with that infuriating grin.
ây/n~,â his voice cut through the silence.
Your eyes snapped open, locking with his as he sauntered into the room with his usual swagger. The moonlight from the window bathed his face in a soft glow, highlighting the sharpness of his features.
âWhat do you want now?â you asked, not bothering to hide the irritation in your tone.
He didnât respond right away. Instead, he just stood there, gazing at you with a strangely serious look in his eyes. His hands were shoved into his pockets, but there was an air of something different about him tonight. Something that made your heart skip a beat.
âI wanted to talk,â he said after a moment, his voice quieter than usual. âYouâve been avoiding me lately.â
âI havenât been avoiding you,â you shot back quickly, even though you knew it wasnât entirely true. You just didnât want to admit that heâd been on your mind more than youâd like. âIâve been busy.â
Yuma stepped closer, his usual cocky smirk slowly disappearing, replaced by something far more intense. âBusy with what?â he asked, his eyes narrowing in playful challenge. âIâve noticed youâve been keeping your distance. Youâve been acting strange,â
You didnât move as he closed the gap between you, his body towering over yours. There was something magnetic about him tonight, something that felt different than all the other times heâd gotten in your face.
âIâm not acting strange,â you muttered, shifting in your seat uncomfortably. âI just donât have time for your games tonight.â
Yumaâs lips curled into a sly grin, but this time, there was no teasing behind it. His expression was unreadable, as if he were contemplating something far deeper than just making you angry.
âYou,â he said, his voice low and dark, âare a hell of a lot more complicated than I thought.â
You tensed. The words hit you harder than you anticipated, the vulnerability behind them something you hadnât expected from the rough, cocky vampire.
âAnd you,â you said, trying to steady your breath, âare a complete pain in my ass.â
Yumaâs smirk returned, but this time it wasnât just smug. It was knowing. His hand reached out, fingers grazing your cheek in a gentle, almost intimate touch. The sensation sent a wave of heat through you.
âI donât know why you fight this so much,â he murmured, his voice soft, but intense. âYouâre not fooling anyone.â
You flinched slightly at the touch, your heart racing. âWhat do you mean?â you asked, almost breathlessly.
He chuckled softly, stepping back just enough to give you space, though the air between you was thick with something unsaid.
âI know how you feel,â he said, his eyes locking with yours. âYou think Iâm just some jerk who annoys you, but youâve got it wrong. Iâm just trying to figure you out. Trying to see what makes you tick.â
Your breath caught in your throat, your pulse quickening. You opened your mouth to argue, but the words wouldnât come. You werenât sure what to say.
Yuma stepped closer again, his gaze never leaving yours, the intensity in his eyes palpable. âIâve never met anyone like you. And itâs driving me crazy.â
Before you could respond, his hand slid to the back of your neck, pulling you forward in one swift motion. His lips crashed against yours, a kiss that was anything but gentle. It was hard, almost desperate, as if he couldnât hold back any longer.
For a moment, you were frozen in shock, your heart pounding in your chest. But then, something in you shifted. You kissed him back, not hesitantly, but with the same intensity he was giving you.
The kiss deepened, his hands sliding down to your waist, pulling you closer until you were pressed against his chest. You could feel the heat radiating from him, the wild energy that you had been trying to resist now consuming you both.
When the kiss finally broke, Yumaâs forehead rested against yours, both of you breathing heavily, but neither of you backing away.
âYou donât know how long Iâve wanted to do that,â Yuma muttered, his voice rough. His hands were still on you, but there was a tenderness to his touch now that hadnât been there before.
You didnât know what to say. A part of you wanted to protest, to push him away and remind yourself that he was still the same infuriating, arrogant bastard. But another part of you, the part youâd been trying to suppress, knew that this was different.
This wasnât a game anymore.
âIâm not like the others,â Yuma whispered, his lips brushing your ear. âAnd youâre not just another one of my targets.â
your persistence in partitioning his anatomyâsclera cocooning his sight, angelâs kisses languishing his nape, digital nerves branching his handsâmartyred as weather-resistant: sketches of the parts you observed of him slid under shuâs door every by-noon while he played dormancyâs seeding bow with a deathly sobriety. the textures your choice in media expendedâpencil for limbs, paint for veins and arteries, watercolour for the loose way you reimagined his capture of the worldâperhaps explained why you would not speak, though he made ill effort to discern it. shu told you it was pointless, but still your witching subduingsâcurses that mark all unrequited and respired giftingsâwaxed and waned with an apple blossomâs seasonal phoenix in spring.
whatever your troublesome nature, shu made sure to crease the corners where his thumb gripped the paper before slipping it back for youâshould you wishâto collect the return of his retinasâ half-hearted labours weighing upon it. sometimes you met his expectation of it, like a reaper with the recently-dead. at other times, you left it as he did for you until he inevitablyâlike a yellowed bellowingâwould shove it into his nightstand before any of his brothers could seize your offerings. at such times, shu mused that even soul collectors must take vacation from such miserly business and made no mess of measuring the pattern in whether you would or wouldnât take back your confections.
how many cones of colour does the human eye lack versus the slumbering creature of salt, shu wrote once on the back of the paper you slipped him yesterdayâs noon after three weeks of you taking leave of his returns. curious was no word to describe his mood, nor irksome bore reiji remarked upon a few nights before with a recuse that sired the black sea. perhaps coquettish captured it thusly, but he preferred habit, if only for the mealy texture of it on his tongue. in any case, you collected this time and wrote back on your next sketch: more than three. shu tried at a laid-about rasp of laughter upon reading itâyou were not wrongâbut his lips stayed blunt: the lost shade of blue in your soaked dollops of his eyes was a lucky discovery for someone like you, working only from a tried wheel of colours. you most likely had no clue of it. he wrote back the number fiveâfor the senses commonly known, leaving the rest to your imaginationâbefore slipping it back under the door along with a violin score, the first he had written in centuries and taut, titled after you: rue.
[ii. graft union]
when his kneesâsoft in the ignorance of polishing cold tileâstill had room to sprout into something green, edgar told him his favourite fairy tale: jack and the magic beanstalk. his worn boots stomped the ground, an imitation of a giantâs insatiable rumouring, while his smileâthough different in petal-plateâburst with a reminiscence akin to yours in todayâs aching: a crisp fruit that oneâs stomach, even a childâs, would sour upon if indulged without lingering. shu offered no protest to his lack of agency; playing the role of jack suited his bony limbs better regardless, though edgar always insisted a nobleâs easy access to sugar ought to make climbing trees, in place of beanstalks, a manageable habit of adventure. but shuâa nocturnal animal wearing sun-rays for a chance to learn the plump grip of a friendly hand at sundownâinstead pressed his motherâs bitter truffles into edgarâs palm during their brief, illicit incursions into the mansionâs furthest woods.
though he ought to have questioned why any boy would trade a cow for a handful of beansâafter all, god was a tepid explanation for why high things like the sky age in tempo with gravityâs covalenceâshu never did. not even when their irregular spats got the better of him, resulting in months of absence from their meeting stump where they had carved their initials into the meat of it with edgarâs pocket knife. magic, like him, was a stubborn imp with ludicrous promises for the pick and chewâeven now, as shu holds your hand which carries edgarâs gaze in union of skeleton and diatomic illocution while guiding you to the rotted stump, rings peeled and cooled in the late summerâs breeze. he tells you to carve your initial, but your finger only draws into his palm: i have nothing to give in return. yes, that is true too, shu supposes. he peppers your neck with a waxy kiss before letting you settle instead upon the open stump.
[iii. biennial bearing]
one day when shu entered your room, he noticed how still you were.
he felt his heart collapseâor maybe it was his bodyâon the bed. he pulled you close and rocked you, as he had always done when nightmares frightened you enough to mouth his name like tautonym: one pursed syllable for shu, two stretched syllables for ririe. the latter, he found, took root in your features and osculations far better under candlelightâs diaphoric lushness.
your fingersâanchors ultimately too mortal to retire dead seasâwould no longer yield sketches to slip under his door or words to paint into his palm. no word left him, nor sound. not even when he uncurled the crumbled note from the rictus of your hand: spread my ashes.
he waited for time to assuage youânow only flesh, bone, and hairâimmortal as calcium, before making good on your request to feed your nitrates back into the mansionâs soils. all these decades and their sweet dews, he could never overcome his fear of the infernoâs appetite, not even to release what was left of you.Â
afterwards, he surrendered his violin to reiji and told him to do as he pleased with it before returning to his room. reiji considered smashing the frame to feed a bonfire on the roof, but instead he polished the wood, placing it on display within his laboratory. perhaps he could accept the absence of their stiff duets as children, though the audience no longer lived to be sated by them. perhaps not yet. for now, he decided: let the future make omen and dance of it.
[iv. abscission]
the taste of whisky, husky and warm, drew caustic on shuâs breathâalighting pleasant mouthing of a hum in his matrix marrow. he smiled at the storming ceiling, cracks in the plaster stumbling over themselves like insects.
a stiff black suit sighed, though to shu he looked like an ink-blotted swarm:
âmust you track the sofa with those shoes? a good-for-nothing is only useful in the way a dog is: bringing the outside soil into the foyer.â
shuâs words slipped, sodden with boyish strands and present tense:
âthere is something⌠i need to confessâŚ.â
âoh? do tell.â
âevery night when⌠when she thought i slept, she would speak⌠to me.â
âhow droll. however, i have no desire to hear of your former indiscretions.â
âher⌠her voice was like⌠hah, i donât remember. but she always asked the same thing: to⌠help her die. i pretended i didnât hear her.â
âtypical. you were slovenly then, and you are slovenly now. if youâre finished with this frankly tiresome rambling, would you mind vacating the sofa?â
perhaps it was the dry rye colouring reijiâs tone or the strawberry tint of the moon, but shu complied. he swayed upon rising, falling toward the hardwoodâonly for reiji to ensnare him in a sudden, rigid entombing of limbs:
âyou thoughtless fool! hold stillââ
âmaybe⌠maybe i just wasnât as desperate for her. but if⌠if you had seen the look on her face⌠when she mouthed my name, reiji, you would not be able to⌠judge me either way.â
ââŚif it will help cease your being overly familiar, it hardly matters what i think of it: she is dead.â
shu laughed, shifting in the fabricâs holdâwanting to pull awayâbut deciding it was too much energy to expend: better i just lie here. the suit breathedâa phantom bud tickling shuâs ear: a reminder that it was some time, some day, but he could not be bothered with the arithmetic of it.
âiâm going to sleep now. be a good pillow and stop yapping.â
silence painted shuâs eyes with dreams of you in winterâs fineries, carving your initialâat lastâinto the meat of the stump he shared with edgar.
Laito would be a masochist if you manage to switch the right buttonđ(MB Reiji Dark 3 and Odessa's Curse drama CD where he expressed that he doesn't mind being tied by a woman)
Carla would enjoy reading mangas . He appreciates beautiful arts in mangas. The manga genres would range from shounen, seinen, action, sci Fi, fantasy, horror, mystery, josei etc As long as manga does not contain unnecessary vulgarity like certain seinen hentai he would enjoy them
Kou would be an expert flamenco dancer. Azusa can dance flamenco and gypsy dance.
Yuma has a bad habit of biting nails.
Karlheinz maybe a bastard who ignored his ladies for a long time but if somebody dared to insult/harrass his women in front of him he won't hesitate to destroy/fuck up that person's life.
Ayato got punished by both Cordelia and Karlheinz for not studying and also for extremely disrespecting them once .
Ayato once sympathesized Subaru for having a hysterical mom. He wouldn't want Christa as his mom.
Karl's favorite painting is The garden of Eden with fall of the Man which is hung in his bedroom above the bed(YB vol1)
Whether you hate Cordelia or like her , nobody can't deny that she's the best smelling woman out there. Cordelia is extremely fond of good smelling and long lasting perfume.
Cordelia has her own attic room in the human world castle (anime)
Cordelia and Karl both are fond of art and reading book.
Once Kou mukami accidentaly blasted the song `made in Romania' with full volume while Yuma and especially Azusa vibed with it Ruki wasn't much pleased .
Laito gifted Shu the recordings of women moaning that's how Shu got into this shit(HDB manga)
Reiji values glory and honor of vampires above all.
Yuma's one of the love language is shoving sugar cube into people's mouth.
Subaru like gothic dark accessories which includes skull, dragons, cross, roses, satanic symbols etc.
Shin very often buys punching bags majority of which lasts to 1-3 days
Laito keeps weird video tapes. Upon seeing them, managed to disgust Kanato, Ayato, Shin, Ruki and Shu.
Teachers are often scared to approach Carla which results in Carla's failing grades.
Another reason Carla and Shin get bad grades because they believe they know better then the teacher and refuse to listen their explanation. Same can go for Ayato and sometimes Reiji
Karl too once praised Kanato for having a lovely voice.
DL demon men are just shameless in general not just dl boys, they just don't care if the woman is unmarried/married/has a lover Every single of them should be in jail for sexual harassment and abuse. They don't even give a fuck about the women's status, they just harrass them whenever they get a chance... because their world is sooo misogynistic đ They can't control their lust/demonic nature and their women are weakđŽâđ¨ canonically
In DL VC Ayato chapter 4, some random male vampires just started harassing Yui/MC/You in front of Ayato though Ayato protected her. In MB Subaru Maniac prologue, Young Subaru was trying to protect Christa from unnecessary pests aka demon men. In VC Subaru Chapter 3, some vampire children harassed Yui/MC/You and Subaru for some blood. And in every DL boys routes the rival boys always harrass Yui/MC/You and try to steal you away from your respective lover max time by force. In DF Carla Maniac prologue, a random Vampire (purists who worship founders and Geis) just enters into Krone's room, who's Geis's wife empress, while she's treating her son, Carla, makes a rude comment about/ mocks her being Geis's favorite mistress. The very moment that man enters her room, she got frightened, Carla told her to hide behind him and she hid behind Carla for protection. That shameless man tells Carla 'mockingly' that he came to Krone's room instead of her husband and told Carla to keep quiet to maintain The Founder king's honorđ. This action was disgusting and terrifying for both Krone and Carla. Now imagineđ¤ if Carla wasn't in the room and Krone was alone , what would've happened to her đFounder women were strictly observed/protected by their men and yet this incident occurred within Bandamen, An extremely protected abode of the founders.đ Cordelia who had very special blood that drove vampires crazy (DL visual official fanbook) said many men attacked her or tried to attack her for her blood.đś (HDB Reiji Ecstasy 6)
no because i see this violent discourse on Cordelia and im just like im iffy on her i feel bad for her but it doesnât really excuse what she did to like her children #drownthatchild
Complex characters am i right?
Well.... Everybody has different opinion about Cordelia..... According to DL fanbook of the 1st game , Cordelia raised Ayato in Spartan method...if my memory serves me Spartan children were trained extremely strictly . In current age it would have been đŻ child abuse.
Harsh punishment was a prominent part of the Spartan training system. The Spartans even turned it into an annual ritual, in which boys tried to steal cheeses from a temple altar, which required them to evade guards armed with whips. Spartan boys were compelled to go barefoot and seldom bathed or used ointments, so that their skin became hard and dry, Plutarch wrote. For clothing, they were given just one cloak to wear year-round, to make them learn to endure heat and cold, and made their own beds from plants that they had to rip out of the ground with their bare hands from river banks.
According to Plutarch, as the young Spartans grew, they were required to exercise more and more to build their bodies. Spartan children started their training at early 7 yrs old
In that era it's considered normal to train your children strictly to make them tough.
Now DL demon is world cruel place. There's no kindness. None will forgive for your mistakes(LE Ayato route) Ayato is the rightful heir as he's the son of Empress, Cordelia and Vampire later demon lord, Karl. But for some reason he wasn't considered a rightful heir. Ayato isn't obedient or smart like Shu....Shu, if think closely, is an usurper with a lots of support. Even an 'illigimate/love child' like Subaru is considered a right heir for Karlheinz's throne...Cordelia has blood that drives vampires crazy and is a great source of strength... It's through her marriage with Karl, he gained hegemon over demon world. Ruling Eden is no easy task(LE) Simple emotion could destroy Eden like in LE Shu ecstasy 9, when Shu kissed You/Yui, the Eden groaned etc....Carla is great king because he had it in him and Geis's extremely cruel training which Shin, Mene(his aunt) and other founders thought normal..... Cordelia had to raise a king alone, her child's status is being stolen from her..in LE dark 6 ,Cordelia clearly state IF her son gets the throne....There's a proverb that it needs a king to raise a king. Cordelia is a woman , there's no possible way to teach Ayato in other way for her that doesn't mean I support her drowning him but I am a human and they're demons. Drowning don't kill them and Subaru once got drowned in ocean by Karl for breaking a statue..... Despite all these , Ayato was allowed to play ,have a đ° toy etc but Shu rarely had relaxing time in his youth aside from playing đť. Ayato is rebel and Cordelia's blood was influencing him badly too(MB)...All these things frustrated her, she was also concerned with Ayato's future slightly. So she went on full Sparta on him The message Cordelia tried to convey Ayato through drowning him that if he isn't the best , he will be abandoned in darkness and coldness, just like in lake and none will come to help him which kinda became true in Ayato's LE route.
for me people understanding a complex character is always hard in fandom like yes they are good and bad
đŻ They are both....We like both good and bad sides.... though we don't represent or support bad sides...since they're fictional character. We just enjoy , fantasize about, ship ourselves or our ocs , make HC and theories about them...đ Character analysis is pretty hard sometimes.
"Don't just believe what you see. <...> Sometimes in this world, what's important can't be seen. And only you can determine how true or false what you see with your own eyes is. So be careful when evaluating things. You're smart, and I'm sure you can do that." Âť
âKarlheinz to little Ruki, LE Ruki Maniac Epilogue
According to Rejet itself, things in DL are pretty much hidden at plain sight.
I want to know your opinion about Laito and Cordelia relationship.
đ I am gonna be controversial and yeah, đŹ many people don't agree with my opinion. I am gonna give it anywayđ
But I personally don't see any sexual relationship between Cordelia and Laito nor I believe Laito got sexually abused by Cordelia as a child. It more looked like blood-sucking relationship to me without feeling at least from Cordelia's side. Cordelia didn't view Laito as lover, she always told him that she loved him as son in HDB, MB. Even while dying(MB,HDB not anime), when Laito asked if she ever loved him ,she outright replied that she only loved Karl (I hate Rejet for ruining this moment in anime) For what reason, she gave him her blood is unknown. Cordelia's blood is very special, it gives it's drinker strength and has healing properties and also could enslave the drinker(HDB Reiji ending and Kino in LE route). Maybe Laito got sick(he somehow got weak stomach) once and she gave him her blood. But later Laito got addicted to it and developed twisted feelings for his mother. (DL anime fanbook) Laito in MB asked Cordelia to forget about Karl, Cordelia outright rejected him. Laito always lamented that Cordelia was never fully his in MB and HDB. To Forget is an interesting phrase used in DL context by diaboys. This phrase is used by dl boys before initiating sex or raping Yui/MC/Player (By Richter in Shin's DF ending and by Carla in Shin's DF Maniac route etc) . If you play HDB, Yui/MC/Player's S answers are đŻ influenced by Cordelia or it's Cordelia who speaks through her.
In HDB Laito route in where Yui/player/MC chooses the S answers where Yui/player/MC slaps, rebukes, resists him , Laito gets excited and in DL HDB ecstasy 10 , Laito literally says Yui/MC/player literally resembles that person aka Cordelia. He also gets time to time irritated when she resists too much. But Laito also gets bored of women who give in easily(Hilde in MB, Odessa in drama CD) Laito also got weird NTR fetish in canon. He likes the thrill of stealing away other people's lover. It somewhat proves that at one point Cordelia did avoid Laito but he got too much twisted for his own Laito prolly tried to subjugate Cordelia but didn't succeed. And HDB Laito literally fulfills his odd fantasy on youAnd I đŻ don't blame Laito for it. Basically DL demon world is corrupted and twisted af. Reiji in DF vampire ending had to wipe out entire demon world to live successfully as Adam-Eve. DF SUBARU vampire ending,he had to kill demons who were after Yui/MC/player. Enemies tried to harm sakamakis many many times(MB prologue)
Also fun fact you get to Shu's good ending by choosing S answersđ
Instead of hiding Christa and visiting her frequently, Karl should have hid Cordelia, visited her regularly and kept her far away from children and his people for the greater good.đ
In Ayato VS Laito drama CD, Laito says that he was twisted due to that person. Now, Laito uses that person to address both Cordelia and Karl..Now we're not đŻ sure who's he blaming...Also Ayato says Laito's missing from bed when they slept together when they were young....Now in YB, we see something interesting...We see triplets sharing a room when Cordelia and Karl are together otherwise we later see Young Ayato in separated bedroom..This implying only times triplets slept together when Karl's visited Cordelia but other times they slept in separate beds...Maybe Young Laito accidentally witnessed his parents having sex which also influenced his twisted view .
According to Shu in HDB, Yui/MC/player's blood made sakamaki brothers awake all the time. In DF Shu Vampire ending, Shu tells indirectly if he had kids, he would show his kids whom Yui/MC/player belonged. Adam in DF Ruki brute ending, desired his mom aka Yui/player/MC which was already a bad omen for Ruki and us.
According to Reiji in HDB Shu heaven 1, YUi/MC/Player's blood is like a woman marching on the street naked, extremely alluring to the vampires. In DL fanbook it's written that Cordelia's blood in fact drive vampires crazy. Her đŤ is considered a unique treasure in LP by Walter. You can somehow assume how's Cordelia's life. Vampires are annoying af... Cordelia herself was subtly mocking them for trying to win her favor in MB, HDB...You may also notice subtle annoyance in her voice about how persistent they are....they just swarm around her 24/7....Cordelia just led them by noseđ
In Carla vs Shin drama CD , Carla literally compares the owner of Cordelia's hearts life like flowers which are supposedly swarmed by ants and destined to be trampled and also there's no way owner of such heart like Cordelia could be a simple being. In LE , war happened/almost happen in DL route between Vibora and vampire for Cordelia's heart.
Again, I may change my opinion if Rejet showed true history of Laito's childhood but now this is my opinion. Please, Don't kick me out of fandom.
How you think the others clans/species act, look and what kind of Powers have?
You think they have some inherent ability?
Do you think they can turn humans like the vampire?
What they need for food?
They ate food? Or blood? Both?
Their looks aren't much confirmed except for Founders and Vampires. I will currently focus on canon info maybe later I may make some HC about them based on canonđ
According to Rejet's canon info about
ADLERđŚ : According to Carla, the Adlers are cunningly biding their time and joining the side that has the advantage (DF Carla Dark 09) .
In Lost Eden, after Karlheinz's death, the eagles also participate in the struggle for the title of the lord of the entire Demon World. In Kanato's route, they attack the Karlheinz family castle and attack Kanato with arrows. In Laito's route, Ayato received news of the eagle race's troops attacking Eden as the spiritual stronghold of the vampire race (LE Laito Maniac Epilogue) .
WOLVES đş:In the Young Blood manga , the English name for their race is 'volf'.
Carla said that they are an aloof people, and "if you don't invade their lands, they won't participate in the war" (DF Carla Dark 09) . Also, according to Reiji, wolves are very "territorial" demons: Laito mentioned that he once had fun with a girl in wolf lands and then he got into a lot of trouble (DF Sakamaki Prologue) .
The Wolf King at the time of Lost Eden is Ebertăźď˝˘ă¨ăźăăŤă」, formerly the Wolf Prince. He was mentioned as a vassal of Brai , the Demon King ( LE Shin Maniac Epilogue ) . Before that, it was said that another leader of the race, Gottfried, visited Karlheinz in Eden in the form of a huge wolf before (or during) the war with the Ancestors during the last eclipse in the Demon World: " Karlheinz and Gottfried are old friends. That is, they are close enough for Mister Karlheinz to invite him to Eden" (Ruki, DF Vol.3 (track 02) ) . That the king of the wolf race and Karlheinz were friends was also confirmed by Reiji (DF Sakamaki Prologue) . Shin suggested wolves as ideal allies: they are responsible, protect their territory well, and their leader manages them well (LE Tsukinami Prologue) .
VIBORAS đ: According to the manga Young Blood, the English spelling of their race is 'bibora'. Brai, the Demon King and Cordelia's father, was referred to as the "King of Vibora" ( DF Carla Maniac Epilogue ) . At the time of the events of the games Dark Fate and Lost Eden, Zweig is considered the head/leader and King of Vibora : he himself called Brai his "predecessor" (LE Shu Maniac Epilogue) . Nagas and vampires are friendly races and were in a military alliance: their relationship was built while Cordelia was married to Karlheinz (LE Subaru Dark 08) . According to Zweig, the Vibora greatly respect politeness (DF Yuma Ecstasy Prologue) . Shin and Shu said that the Vibora are afraid of Karlheinz (DF Shu Ecstasy Prologue, DF Shu Ecstasy 07) . Like the wolf , the naga are also very "territorial" demons ( DF Sakamaki Prologue ) : as soon as someone appears on their lands, they immediately attack the outsider (Dark Fate, Lost Eden) . Cordelia is often called the "Demon King's daughter" , Carla referred to her as the "Vibora Princess" (LE Carla Maniac 06) .They also use arrows to fight
In the Lost Eden routes, the current leader of the Vibora, Zweig, after the death of Karlheinz , is not averse to starting a war with the vampires: he confesses to Kino that he wants to return their race to its former dominance over the Demon World (LE Subaru Dark 09) . Also, a drunk Zweig tells Shin, who is imprisoned in the dungeon of the snake castle, a story related to Krone . According to him, before Krone became Giesbach's wife , she was supposed to marry the Demon King Bri, so she often visited the Vibora castle (LE Shin Maniac Epilogue) .
In some Lost Eden routes, Zweig demanded that the current owner (Yui) of their princess's heart be returned to their castle: in LE Reiji Maniac 10 , he was willing to give Reiji his sister in exchange for an alliance, in LE Kou Maniac Prologue, he himself became engaged to Yui. In LE Subaru Brute End, he became the hegemonic king of the Demon World under the control of the church. Once in the Vibora castle, Yui noticed that she was treated very respectfully, called "Yui-sama" (LE Carla Ecstasy Epilogue) . She also noted that the Vibora women were very beautiful (LE Azusa Maniac Prologue) .
In many routes, the đ went on the offensive against the Vampires: in LE Kou Maniac Prologue, Subaru, who inherited Karlheinz's power and could not control it, destroyed not only the Vibora army in front of the Sakamaki family castle, but also the castle itself. The state of the Snake race, like other clans, depends on its leader: if the king dies, chaos ensues. When the Progenitors killed Zweig, blaming Shu, the Vampire King's son, the Snakes attacked the Karlheinz family castle and captured his sons (DF Shu Ecstasy 09) . To calm the Vibora people, Karlheinz was forced to present the đ with either Shu's severed head (DF Shu Brute End) or his own (DF Shu Vampire End) .
Shin, judging by the flashbacks of Dark Fate, often visited the Vibora domain, believing that the entire Demon World belonged to the ancestors. He killed the demons he encountered in these lands, including vampires. One day, the Vibora Leader grabbed him and dragged him to Pandemonium, demanding an audience with King Giesbach . In front of the Vibora Leader, Karla was forced to kneel before the Vibora Leader as an apology for his younger brother. The Leader liked this spectacle, but still, this was not enough for him: he wanted to take Shin's life as a "souvenir" and to maintain authority in his clan. In order to save his brother, Karla offered to take only his eye. The Vibora Leader was not satisfied with this, but eventually "accepted" this apology as well (DF Shin Maniac Epilogue) .
The same Leader of Vibora appears in the present time ( DF Shin Ecstasy Epilogue ) .This castle is far away from the Sakamaki Family Castle and Eden (LE Ayato Ecstasy 06, 09) .
The room that was given to Yui in the castle, the girl called large and very impressive, noting the large number of beautiful things here (LE Ayato Ecstasy 07) .
FOUNDERS đşđđŚ đŚ: Also mentioned is the name 「ăăĄăźăšăăăŠăă」 = [fÄsutoburaddo] â literally "First Blood" .
A race in the Demon World that gave rise to the other four demon races. A proud noble clan. First mentioned in Dark Fate. Only family ties within the clan were allowed in order to preserve the purity of the blood. According to Carla and Shin, only the ancestress is fit to continue their lineage - this is their unbreakable tradition. In the prologue of Dark Fate, this is why they were looking for their aunt Mene, who had escaped from their castle.
The Progenitors that are mentioned in the games are: Carla and Shin Tsukinami, Giesbach (their father and the king of the race), Krone (Giesbach's sister and his wife, Carla and Shin's mother), MĂśhne (Krone and Giesbach's sister, Cordelia's mother), Fersen (Krone and Giesbach's younger brother), Count Pestier. Cordelia was half a Progenitor, but she didn't know it. Adam, the child Yui had with Shin in DF Ruki Brute End , is also a Progenitor.
They have the magical abilities of all other races, can turn into wolves, eagles, snakes and bats. Unlike vampires, they will not die so easily from a wound to the chest. During an eclipse, their powers reach their peak. The Progenitor is stronger than any demon: both Karl and Shin surpass the sons of Karlheinz. Therefore, according to the game Lost Eden, each clan wanted to see the founders as their allies.
They took part in the war against Karlheinz and Bray, were defeated and imprisoned in their castle. The Castle of the Ancestors. Mythologically, the "Palace of Ten Thousand Demons" corresponds to "Pandemonium". In Milton's poem "Paradise Lost", this is the name of the capital of Hell.
The interiors of this palace are shown in the routes of the games Dark Fate and Lost Eden, as well as in the manga Young Blood vol.6-7.
After the defeat in the war with Karlheinz and Brai, the ancestors were imprisoned in this castle and almost all died here from the disease " Endzeit ".Carla remembered a ball where the Ancestors would gather every evening - "bright and happy", "both old and young": they danced and sang all evening. Looking at them, Carla, who did not particularly like it, felt that his soul was becoming cheerful (DF Carla Ecstasy 06) .
The body temperature of the progenitors, like that of vampires, is low (Dark Fate Carla Ecstasy 02) , they also have no vital need for food, and their saliva also has healing abilities.
The ancestors have a strict patriarchy. This is typical of the entire Demon World, but it is most noticeable in the primordials. The ancestral women were forbidden to leave the castle, forbidden to move around the world alone. Perhaps these prohibitions were also caused by the fact that the blood of the ancestors is incredibly attractive to other races, for them it is the most delicious and desirable, i.e. an ancestor without an escort was under threat (it is enough to remember how Sakamaki and Mukami bit into Yui, in whom half-ancestor blood flows, how Cordelia's entourage, half ancestor, half vibora, went crazy with thirst).
The Ancestor Wedding lasts for 3 days and 3 nights. If the food runs out, it is immediately replenished. One of the main dishes is the Ancestor-style Four Race Pudding. It is made from a specially bred wolf, snake, eagle, and bat, the mince of which is fried and covered with a special sauce. However, when Carla was asked if he had ever eaten this pudding, he remained silent. (CD-drama âSecret teachings about the Demon World's wedding reception ~vampires' hospitality~â)
The progenitors, like all demons, probably don't celebrate birthdays. They don't matter to them. (CD-drama "Born To Die Vol.1")
According to Carla, the title of King of the Ancestors is passed down from generation to generation, with the previous king "fully instilling the necessary knowledge and experience for a king" (DF Carla Dark epilogue) .
VAMPIRE đŚ:
They drink blood. They use human blood as food and a source of strength, which is superior to demonic blood (the exception was Cordelia's blood) (MB Laito Maniac Epilogue) , while the blood of a relative should be unpleasant to them to taste (DL Reiji Ecstasy 04) .
Vampires' thirst for blood intensifies during the full moon: they are more irritable and have great difficulty controlling themselves. During a lunar eclipse, they become more sensitive, sentimental, prone to nostalgia, and their senses are dulled (Dark Fate) .
At the time of the games, the King of the Vampires is Karlheinz , who has ruled for over 2000 years ( MB Sakamaki Prologue ) . He has amazing power, capable of destroying their entire world, and unique abilities: he controls time, space, can disappear, foresee the future, change appearance and much more.
The king of each race is like a god to his people, the balance of his entire people depends on him.
Unlike wolves and snakes , vampires are supposedly not such territorial demons (DF Sakamaki Prologue) .
They are very sensitive to changes in the phases of the moon , they fall under its influence, and the full moon excites their blood (MB Reiji Dark Epilogue) .
According to Reiji, vampires constantly die of boredom (MB Reiji Dark Epilogue) .
Awakening : "The process by which a bride completely transforms into a vampire is called "awakening". All the previous brides before Yui were normal humans, so their bodies could not survive the transformation into a vampire, causing them to be unable to "awaken" and instead be turned into familiars or wax dolls. In addition, Yui's body was able to withstand the "awakening" because she had Cordelia's heart inside her. On top of that, her blood is Cordelia's blood, which gave the Sakamaki brothers even more power, which is why the brothers constantly circle around Yui and attack her endlessly for the second half of the story. When Yui stabbed herself in the heart in episode 11, even if the "human" part of her died at that moment, her body, which contained Cordelia's heart, could not die. This allowed Cordelia to easily possess her body." âThese beautiful yet terrifying vampires drink the sweet blood of the bride in order to obtain the throne of the King through her awakening.â ( Diabolik Lovers Anime Official Fan Book. World Guide, paragraphs 6, 4 ) .
According to Yui, when a vampire drinks human blood, the second falls under the influence of the first and as a result turns into a vampire - this is "awakening". Reiji added that this is a long process that takes place in several stages. And the final awakening comes unexpectedly, for this reason it is extremely difficult to predict the time of conversion (MB Reiji Dark Epilogue) .
Reiji mentioned that those who failed to turn into vampires became outcasts (MB Reiji Dark Epilogue) .
Only a vampire with a high level of power can time the transformation of several people into vampires at once (as was the case with Karlheinz and Mukami) (MB Reiji Dark Epilogue) .
Wounds are like mosquito bites for a vampire: Reiji deliberately squeezed a razor blade in his hand until it bled in order to distract himself (MB Reiji Maniac 10) .
While family is important to humans, blood relationship means nothing to vampires (according to Reiji). He also added that although their father wants his sons to get along with each other, he himself believed that it was impossible: a vampire cannot become a human (MB Reiji Ecstasy 07) .
According to Ruki, admiring flowers with the girl he loves is not something a vampire would do (DF Ruki Maniac 06) .
A vampire is not so easy to kill. Reiji planned to send Shu to the afterlife with a knife, the blade of which he smeared with a special poison (MB Reiji Ecstasy 08) .
Vampires heal their wounds very quickly without any treatment (DF Azusa Dark 06) , they are immortal and do not get sick, so they do not need doctors. However, if you get wounded by a bullet from a vampire hunter's gun, it will be very serious (DF Azusa Dark Prologue) . Merz once observed the death of a fellow vampire from such a bullet: it hit near the heart, and the wounded man simply had to wait until his body rotted - this inevitably leads to death. Therefore, when wounded, it is necessary to stop the spread of tissue necrosis due to the bullet: the wound received from the shot must be "removed", i.e. cut off the part of the body affected by necrosis (DF Azusa Dark 08) .
The vampire's body is cold and resistant to temperature changes (DF Azusa Dark 01, 04) .
In the first game, it was mentioned more than once that vampires can fly during a full moon, but even with a wounded arm and when there was a crescent moon in the sky, Azusa could soar into the sky with Yui (DF Azusa Dark 10) .
According to Kou, a vampire who commits suicide is absurd (DF Azusa Maniac 08) .
A vampire doesn't get out of breath even if he was running as fast as he could (MB Azusa Dark 08) .
Baby Vampires Can't Fly: According to Reiji's recollections, when he was very young, he could barely float in the air (LP Reiji Chapter 1) .
Can sense the approach of another vampire and even their emotions (such as anger) (MB Azusa Dark 08).
Vampire saliva has a healing effect (LE Ruki Dark 02) .
On a full moon, Reiji was able to force Yui to drink the drink he offered her: Yui suddenly noticed that her hand was moving on its own, without her will (DL Reiji Maniac 01) .
It seems that vampires do sweat after all: after a short game of cards, Reiji noticed that he was sweating strangely and wanted to quickly wash it all off and relax in a spa (LP Reiji Chapter 1) .
Regarding Character Surnames. Nationality and Racial Belonging
Why are the surnames "Sakamaki" and "Tsukinami" not used with the parents' names?
Sakamaki Kanato, Sakamaki Shu, Sakamaki Ayato... It sounds right, doesn't it? Sakamaki Richter, Sakamaki Cordelia, Sakamaki Christa... How awful, don't you think?
From anime, games, and other sources, we know that Karlheinz's six sons bear the surname Sakamaki. At the same time, it's said that this surname is only used in the human world and nowhere else. And also that the older brothers cannot bear it. How true is all of this?
Currently, the brothers live in the human world. Among their father's personas is that of the politician "Sakamaki Tougo" â this was mentioned even in the first game. That is, in the eyes of ordinary people, the six boys are the sons of this highly respected Sakamaki Tougo.
However, I have noticed multiple times that this surname is used in the Demon World as well, coming from the mouths of demons. For example, in the second game, Beatrix tells Shu that he is the "future head of the Sakamaki family" (MB Shu Ecstasy Epilogue), and in Dark Fate, one of the demons addresses Kanato as "Sakamaki Kanato" (DF Kanato Vampire End). And this action takes place in the Demon World.
The male vampire C calls Kanato "Sakamaki Kanato". The scene takes place in the Demon World. DF Kanato Vampire End.
And if we look at the fanbook for, say, the first game, in Cordelia's profile we see: "The first wife of the head of the Sakamaki family, Karlheinz." It turns out that not only the inhabitants of the human world know about this persona. So what's the deal?
Despite the fact that the surname Sakamaki is mentioned by demons as well, I have never noticed any of the secondary characters being called either "Sakamaki Richter" or "Tsukinami Gisbach." For now, we can assume that they are referred to as the "Sakamaki family" by the creators themselves for the convenient designation of belonging to one family â after all, we also have the Mukami and Tsukinami families. Speaking of Tsukinami:the combination of a purely Japanese surname and a purely English name also looks discordant â "Tsukinami Carla." But in the game, the brothers introduce themselves as returnees who left England, and this at least somewhat explains it.
But what about the Sakamakis? And why were the parents given European names, while the children were given Japanese ones? In Dark Fate, the creators corrected this flaw. It is hinted at in Shu's route and explained in detail in Yuma's route that vampires actually have true namesš. Thus, Shu's vampire name is Lilie: the German word for the lily flower. In Lost Eden, Kou's true name is revealed to be Emilio. Yuma, as we know, was formerly Edgar.
The surnames "Sakamaki" or "Tsukinami" are never used together with the names of any of the older generation: Karlheinz, Cordelia, Beatrix, Christa, Richter are not Sakamaki, and Gisbach, Krone, Mene, Fersen are not Tsukinami.
Whereas the names of the main characters are listed in the fanbooks as 'Reiji Sakamaki', 'Yuma Mukami', 'Carla Tsukinami', the secondary characters are listed simply as 'Karlheinz', 'Cordelia', 'Beatrix', 'Christa', 'Richter'.
MEANING OF THE SURNAMES
â˘ď˝˘é塝」 = [sakamaki] = "Sakamaki"
「é塝ă」= [sakamaku] means "to surge/roll against the current (of waves)". It's essentially a hint that the family is going "against something". There is also another interpretation I noticed a long time ago but initially didn't include in the article. 「é」 can be translated as "reverse, against", and one of the meanings of 「塝」 is "to wind (a clock)".
This alludes to how Karlheinz turned back time again and again, winding his clock of time. However: 1. This only started from the second game, but already in the first game our boys were "Sakamaki"; 2. Still, a complete phrase is a complete phrase. Although the creators could well have noticed a specific play on words within the surname, which they might have used while developing the scenario for More,Blood.
The Sakamaki family crest features the 「çĽçŚăŽĺŁď˝Ł = "Sword of Blessing" (CD drama Sadistic Song vol.5 + annotation). It was passed down through generations in their family, and only those born from the power of the Eden's World Tree and who obtained that power could touch it. The crest depicts a vampire with "wings spread wide," which "protect" the sword. A "ribbon" wrapping around it can also be seen.
The Sakamaki family crest is not the same as the vampire clan's crest: the vampire crest was shown to us in the manga YB vol.6.
The Sakamaki family crest and the Vampire clan crest.
The Sakamaki motto: 'Seeking eternity' = 「永é ăćąăă」 (PV House of Vampire).
⢠「çĄçĽď˝Ł = [mukami] = "Mukami"
Literally 'godless'. It fully corresponds to the worldview and fate of the brothers.
On the Mukami crest, one can see a large sword in the center and four smaller rapiers/sabers on either side of it.
The Mukami motto: 'The Honorable Sword will never break' = 「čŞăéŤăĺŁăŻćăăŹď˝Ł (PV House of Vampire).
⢠「ć澪」 = [tsukinami] = "Tsukinami"
「ć」 as "moon, month" and 「澪」 as "large wave" or a part of words meaning "to wander." Considering that the progenitors present themselves in the human world both as Tsukinami and as returnees from England, their surname can be interpreted as "those who wander under the moon," "moon wanderers" (or "moon wave").
The Tsukinami crest depicts a wolf inside a crescent moon.
The Tsukinami motto: 'I can dominate the moon' = 「ćăćăĺ¸ă」 (PV House of Vampire).
⢠「ĺ°ćŁŽď˝Ł = [komori] = "Komori"
You can choose any name for the heroine in the game;by default, she is 'Komori Yui'. The girl has an interesting surname: the kanji 「ĺ°ď˝Ł (the syllable 'ko') gives words and phrases the meaning of "small" and "modest," and 「棎」, that is [mori], means "forest" or "temple grove."
At the same time, there are several other words in the Japanese language that sound similar but have completely different meanings. Therefore, if you don't know the spelling of Yui's surname, it can lead to some amusing wordplay. For example, [kĹmori], with a long first syllable, is the word 「čč 」 = "bat (of the order Chiroptera)". [komori] also sounds like 「ĺĺŽď˝Ł = "childcare," "nanny". There is also the word 「ăçą ă」 = [o-komori] = "a night spent in prayer at a temple." Considering Yui's story, this becomes very interesting and doesn't seem like a coincidence.
⢠Kino
Kino had several coats of arms. The last one depicts a heart split into two halves, wrapped in a stem with thorns.
Kino's motto: 'Death knows everything' = 「ćťăăăçĽă」 (PV House of Vampire).
He does not belong to the Sakamaki family, and this surname is never used with his name.
On the official website's character list², he is the only one listed without a surname.
NATIONALITY AND RACE OF THE CHARACTERS
Sakamaki, Tsukinami, Kino, and other demons The Sakamaki brothers, Tsukinami brothers, and Kino have no nationality â they are demons, not humans, and were born as demons. Each character belongs to their own demonic clan/race.
¡ Thus, Karlheinz, Richter, and Christa are vampires.
¡ Therefore, all six Sakamaki brothers (Shu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, Subaru) are also vampires (members of the bat clan).
¡ Cordelia always considered herself a half-vampire and the daughter of the Demon King Burai, who by race is a Bibora (snake clan). However, it turned out she had no relation to the vampire clan: her mother was a Progenitor â this is the First Blood clan (more details in the article "Titles and Race of Cordelia, Her Father and Mother. Titles of Karlheinz"Âł).
¡ The Tsukinami brothers (Carla and Shin), as well as their parents and relatives: Gisbach (father), Krone (mother), Mene (Cordelia's mother), Fersen (uncle) are also Progenitors. However, in Shin's route in the game Lost Eden, the purity of the younger Tsukinami's blood was questioned: there was a possibility that he was half-Wolf (wolf clan), but this turned out not to be the case (in reality, Shin is a pureblood Progenitor).
¡ Yui's child with Shin (Adam) was born a Progenitor (DF Ruki Brute End).
¡ Theoretically, the child of Yui (Eve) and the one who became Adam should be born as a member of a new race (more details in the article "On Karlheinz's Plan 'Project Eden's Apple' / 'Project Adam's Apple"â´).
¡ Kino considers himself a vampire, but in reality, it's difficult to explain what kind of creature he is: according to church officials, he was, like a Ghoul, created from the miasma of Rotigenberg from a physical particle of Karlheinz, but unlike them, he possesses immense power even for a standard vampire (though he is definitely not a vampire).
¡ Other members of the Vampire race also include: Beatrix, Walter.
¡ From the Bibora race (snake clan): Zweig, Burai.
¡ From the Wolf race: Ebert, Gottfried.
¡ From the First Blood race: Pestie.
¡ From the Ghouls (including turned ones): Yuri, Leona, Lux, Ruki's father.
Mukami and other humans
Those characters who are human or were human before being turned have their own nationality.
¡ Yui, according to Shu's mention, is "Asian": 「ćąć´äşşď˝Ł = "Easterner" (DL Shu Ending 01). Kou called her 「ćĽćŹäşşď˝Ł = "Japanese" (MB Kou Maniac Prologue).
¡ Her father, Seiji, judging by his name, should be Japanese.
¡ Azusa once wandered with gypsies, but it was not stated that he is of Romani nationality himself.
¡ When Ruki in Lost Eden returned to his city to find out more about Trismegistus (Karlheinz's persona), he went to a 「ăŤăźăăă˘ăŽĺłć¸é¤¨ď˝Ł = "Romanian library". In theory, he was born and raised in Romania. And if the other Mukami lived in the same city, then they should also be from Romania. Edgar (Yuma) grew up in a village, but it's unlikely he could have escaped to another country after the fire. The fact that Azusa lived with gypsies for a time also reinforces the impression that the events take place in Romania: "gypsies" most likely refer to the Roma people. Incidentally: back in the first game, Seiji mentioned his return to Eastern Europe in the general prologue of the game, and in the ending DL Shu Ending 01, Shu spoke of escaping with Yui to 「ăăŠăłăˇăŤă´ăĄăă˘ď˝Ł = Transylvania, the once sacred lands of vampires.
¡ However, there is a catch here: even if Ruki, his parents, Kou (aka Emilio), his mother Leona, Yuma (aka Edgar), his parents, the neighbor Alan, Azusa with Justin, Melissa, and Christina â even if all of them lived in Romania, it is not a fact that they are Romanian by nationality: they could very well be immigrants.
¡ The Mukami brothers are currently "half-vampires" â turned vampires. Leona, Ruki's father, Lux are turned ghouls.
¡ The Tsukinami brothers, upon entering Ryotei Academy in Dark Fate, introduced themselves as "returnees from England." However, in reality, they are neither Japanese nor English, as they are not human.

Why did Cordelia NOT 'have sex with Richter in front of Kanato and Laito'?
Part Two: LAITO
Part One: Kanato is still being edited
According to the myths, Kanato wasn't the only one who witnessed his mother's "intimate relationship" with her "lover" - Laito supposedly saw a lot of things, too. But no matter what the fandom makes up for drama's sake, it's really not that bad: the youngest triplet was just unlucky enough to witness Cordelia giving Richter her blood. It happened in the DL Laito Maniac Prologue.
Sometime in the past, Karlheinz ordered his son imprisoned in a dungeon - for what exactly, by the way, is not explained here or in the game.
The scene begins with Richter's poems, which serve as an epigraph.
Laito: â That's why something like that... rather unconsciously exciting.
This is where the flashback ends.
All the fans then decided â and still believe â that Cordelia decided to have sex with Richter in front of her son â and forced the boy, as a "good boy," to watch the copulation. I would agree with this point of view â if our heroes were not vampires, but ordinary people, and if the story was not based on the fetish of drinking blood. Since the process of absorbing blood is eroticized according to the canon, then only he could be implied in this scene.
We hear the rustle of clothes â this sound always accompanies the blood-drinking scenes when the boys expose the neck, back and other parts of the heroine's body, into which they are going to dig their fangs.
That is, the rustle cannot be considered proof that Cordelia took off her dress or Richter lifted her skirts â for that very specific purpose.
Also, Cordelia utters a line that many took as a desire to have sex soon:
"Her blood had already lost its temperature, but her deliciousness had not changed, the dependence on which was greater than on any candy."
According to the context, Yui's blood turned cold. And it's much more pleasant for a vampire to drink hot. Subaru told us about this in MB Subaru Ecstasy 07:
Subaru: The blood of a human bursting with heat is hot and delicious. And now you're burning up after taking a bath.
In this case, Yui got hot with the help of a bath. But there were other ways mentioned in the canon. For example, with the help of fangs, the body begins to burn from the bite.
Yui: It seems like a body... loses strength... But it's getting hotâŚ
In CL Laito Story 07, the triplets used fire to "prepare" Yui's blood.
However, body temperature does not rise only after a bite. The mere anticipation of it, the expectation of blood-drinking, according to the characters' remarks, contributes to the "hot":
Everywhere 「çąď˝Ł in the context of the state of the body during blood-drinking.
It turns out that the fact that Yui feels the heat even before the fangs sink, betrays her desire to feel them in herself. And in the flashback with Cordelia and Richter, everything is similar: her body "burns with expectation" â it allegedly asks, craves a bite.
In MB Kou Heaven 03, Yui admitted that her body was getting hotter from the desire to drink her blood, and directly asked Kou to do it.
Yui: (Mmm... My body's heating up... It wants... for blood to be drunk!...)
Laito said the same thing in his very first CD drama ăSĺ¸čĄCD Vol.4 é塝ăŠă¤ă:
[17:44] "As I slowly run my tongue over it, I can definitely tell that right underneath it, your blood starts to bubble and flow to the surface, slowly heating up in those spots... whispering to me, begging me to flow into my body sooner rather than later."
[18:07] "Your blood is so hot, huh? It must be so happy, because it will turn into energy circulating through my veins? It's worth getting close to you, and your blood starts begging to drink it."
[18:58] "But no matter how scared you are, it's worth remembering the pleasure of me eating you... as your body slowly starts to hot up, right? The pleasure of me dominating you, desiring you..."
From the anticipation of the moment when the fangs sink into the heroine's body, it heats up = burns. But did Cordelia herself "burn" = desire the fangs in this way?
And now let's remember: in the first game, Cordelia asked little Kanato to sing, because his singing made her "body start to burn" (DL Kanato Ecstasy Prologue). Many still claim with full confidence that the first wife was sexually aroused by her son's voice. But it's not about "sexual arousal": she simply prepared her cold blood for blood drinking, made it hot in this way. Cordelia, unlike Yui, is also a demon â we realized from the anime that vampires have icy skin.
(It seems that the touches or fangs of the men who drank her could hardly kindle a "flame" in her and make her blood boil, since they had to resort to such sophisticated methods).
DL Sequel Kanato
Similarly, in DL Laito Maniac Epilogue, Cordelia responds to Laito's words by asking him to "give her some warmth":
Cordelia: Today, I am terribly cold... and I want your warmth.
Of course, by analogy with all the examples discussed above, it's clear that the conversation is about blood-drinking, which Cordelia also used to control Laito. But why was she so cold?
Abnormal cold was often felt by other DL characters â Kanato and Shu. The cold is a consequence of their loneliness and despair.
Kanato: My coldness... my loneliness, my despair...! This isn't enough to heal them...!
ďźâŚâŚĺ¤çŹă¨ăçľśćâŚâŚďźďź
Yui: (...Loneliness and despair?...)
Kanato feels this eerie cold during the rain â it was on a rainy night that he burned his mother's corpse (DL Kanato Ecstasy Epilogue), hoping to make her exclusively his. Now, looking at Teddy, which holds her ashes, he understands that he only received "remains," which are "not enough" for him.
This is the answer to the question of why Cordelia asked Kanato to sing to her and felt terribly cold: it wasn't about sexual arousal at all; she felt the same coldness from her own despair and loneliness.
We've established that the body of a victim or a demon can literally burn from a bite or the anticipation of bloodsucking.
Now we need to understand what excites Laito, what arouses him: is it when he watches someone else drink from or have sex with his victim?
In his own route, there's a scene where he precisely recreates something he once saw in the dungeon â DL Laito Ecstasy 09. In this scene, Yui finds herself in a torture chamber, where she meets Ayato. He tries to advise her to "do it" and not to "remain faithful" to Laito.
Laito: Who knows. Anyway, Ayato-kun, what were you planning to do to this girl? Depending on the circumstances...
史ă掺ăăŤăăăďź
Laito: I might torture you to death.
When Laito delivers his first line, his sprite shows no smile, and his eyes are narrowed. For the second line, his expression becomes aggressive. Furthermore, the word "what", which is usually written with the kanji 「ä˝ď˝Ł or hiragana 「ăŞăŤď˝Ł, is here highlighted in katakana â as 「ăă」. The emphasis is on it â Laito is concerned with "what exactly" Ayato intended to do to his victim. If his brother was planning to do something with her that Laito wouldn't approve of, he might even "torture him to death."
Ultimately, the young man gets a "brilliant" idea: Laito suggests that Ayato drink Yui's blood, while he himself intends to observe the event. Ayato accepts the offer.
In the process, Yui notes that her body, once again, "is burning, blazing." And Laito observes that she is clearly enjoying someone else's fangs. He also calls the girl the same name Ayato used for his mother: 「ă˘ăăşăŹď˝Ł = "whore," "slut."
Laito: Ah, Bitch-chan, you're enjoying this, aren't you?... Being bitten by a man other than me and moaning...
ăăăŻćŹĺ˝ăŤăă˘ăăşăŹă ăŞă
Laito: You truly are a slut.
Here, we need to follow Laito's logic.
It turns out he can offer his victim's blood to another man. He will watch as this other man drinks from her. This will arouse him.
But if this other man does "something" inappropriate with the girl, Laito will kill him. In anger. And here, "something" implies sex.
Let's return to the dungeon episode with Cordelia and Richter. Laito, watching them, was also smiling and getting aroused. That is, he behaved exactly the same way he does now, observing Ayato drinking Yui's blood. If Richter had had sex with his "beloved" in front of him in the dungeon then, the young man would not have been aroused â he would have been just as enraged, ready to torture his uncle to death.
In short, in DL Laito Ecstasy 09, Laito is currently recreating what he saw in the past â in the flashback from DL Laito Maniac Prologue. Only now, Yui is in Cordelia's place (who, by the way, smells like Cordelia and tastes like Cordelia), and Ayato is in Richter's place. Everything proves that no sex between his mother and uncle happened in front of him in the past either. Cordelia simply made Laito watch another man drink her blood. And not without reason.
However, Laito is not only recreating a scene from the past now â he wants to do something to Yui in the present that he couldn't do to Cordelia back then. To punish the one who erred. Therefore, he will project his unrealized desire:
Laito: Bitch-chan, when this is over, you'll be punished, thoroughly. So... be patient.
And we will conclude the topic by examining the pages from the DL Sequel Laito manga. They illustrate that very scene in the dungeon. Let's analyze each frame and every quote.
First frame: A bewildered Laito behind bars.
Second frame: Laito behind bars, Richter's hands on Cordelia's half-exposed back. And two lines of dialogue.
......ăăăŽă§ăăďź
...Is this okay/normal?
â most likely, this line belongs to Richter: it wasn't in the game.
ăă ă ăă......ćŠăćĽăŚă
Yes, so... come quickly.
â and this phrase should belong to Cordelia: the second part of the line is also in the game.
3, 4. Third frame: Cordelia's neck is exposed, straps are down, her dress is held at her chest. Richter's face is near her neck, behind her hair. Fourth frame: Laito's astonished face.
â Cordelia's line is almost identical to the game's â except for "m-m" at the beginning.
ăăă§čŚăŚăăŚăăăăăăďź
Then/therefore you'll watch, won't you?
â but this phrase was not spoken in the game: apparently, they decided to add it to the manga to further prove the point: Cordelia aims for her son to watch what's happening.
5, 6. Fifth frame: Laito in the dungeon, Cordelia's and Richter's shadows on the floor.
Sixth frame: Another shot of Cordelia â flushed, Richter's face still buried in her hair.
......ăăăăăăăăăŻăŻ
...Yeah. That's right. I'm...
......ăăŻăŻ......ă¤ă¤ĺăŞăă ăăă
I'm... a "good" boy, after all.
â completely matches the game version: this is one line from the game, broken into two parts in the manga.
7. Moving to the next page: Now Laito has a pleased expression.
ăăăăăŽ
This kind of thing
ăăăč弎ăăĄăăăťăă ăă
rather excites me unconsciously
â a slightly shortened line from the game.
That's all. Besides the lines of dialogue, which for the most part repeat phrases from the game (which we have already analyzed), we need to pay attention to the visual sequence.
First: the way Richter buries himself in Cordelia's hair in two frames exactly replicates the position of Yui and Ayato in the CG from DL Laito Ecstasy 09. That very scene analyzed above, where Laito recreates his memories.
Ayato is definitely drinking Yui's blood at this moment â we understand this from the dialogue and sounds. However, there is no blood on the girl's neck, no bite marks, and Ayato's face is buried in her hair. It's not strange that Richter's face, while drinking Cordelia's blood, is similarly buried in her hair, and there are no bite marks or blood on her neck either.
Second: in the manga, the boys sometimes undressed Yui down to her underwear to drink from her neck. It's logical that Cordelia would also lower her dress straps for the same purpose.
How is this episode described in the fanbook for the first game?
"The main character is confused by the consciousness of Cordelia â Laito's mother â awakening within her. Laito offers her to Ayato, allowing him to drink her blood. Being drunk from by Ayato in front of Laito, she is bewildered by the pleasure she feels. Cordelia, Laito's actions... â many things trouble the heroine's heart."
After all that has been presented, we can draw an unambiguous conclusion:
Cordelia deliberately allowed Richter to drink her blood in front of Laito â nothing more.
Everything attests to this:
⢠the message of the phrase "the body burns with anticipation";
⢠Laito's logic when recreating an analogous scene with Ayato and Yui;
⢠Laito's willingness to share the girl's blood with another man, but his readiness to kill if someone were to have sex with her;
⢠the position of the figures in the manga;
⢠the correspondence of the figures' positions in the manga and the game's CG, where only bloodsucking definitely occurred.
There is no other possible interpretation of this scene. The conclusion in this case is unequivocal.
What we have just analyzed is not a theory; it is a fact. The one and only possible one. If any reviewers on their YouTube channels claim otherwise, they are incorrect. I have thoroughly explained the meaning embedded in these scenes, how they are revealed and presented. Any other interpretation, a.k.a. "Cordelia had sex with Richter/her lovers in front of Kanato/Laito," is fundamentally wrong.
Could you write headcanon about the founders' lives before the war and the Tsukinami brothers' daily lives with their surroundings and friends and their interactions with women and their mother and father? I'm curious about this aspect.đđĽš
Lifestyle of Founders in DLđŚđđŚ đş
Random-
Their people can shift intođşđđđŚ , Have amazing powers.
Though Shin and Carla's canon familiars are wolf and their crest is đş and đ. Every family had different familiars and their respective symbol. Their familiars varied from đşđŚđđŚ
Adults would teach their youth skills and survival techniques.
Founder men often involved themselves in playful? sparring to show off their new skills and strength.
They were somehow respectful towards each other.
According to Carla, the title of King of the Ancestors is passed down from generation to generation, with the previous king "fully instilling the necessary knowledge and experience for a king" (DF Carla Dark epilogue) .
Though all founders are born with extreme power but Carla's an exception. Every founder present knew that. He became hope for the founders.
Founder youths looked up to him. Adults were both envious and admired him much to Geis's dismay.
Carla defeated founder adults at early age and his name, strength and wisdom crossed the borders making him quite infamous (Afterall in DF Shin Maniac epilogue, Vibora leader addressed Carla as the infamous...)
Founder boys spend most of their time training as defense mechanism. I have this HC that it's mandatory for founder boys to undergo strict training since childhood to make them strong in the future.
This training almost came to halt during the spread of Endezeit as it weakened their body.
The ancestors have a strict patriarchy. This is typical of the entire Demon World, but it is most noticeable in the primordials. The ancestral women were forbidden to leave the castle, forbidden to move around the world alone.
Founder guards use specialized rifle with bayonet as weapon (YB) They also have âď¸đĄď¸
Founders extremely respected their birth parents. Tried to obey their every single command and wishes.
Politically there were factions: ones who supported the throne, neutral, ones who supported the strength above the throne.
Carla had close supporters but no close friends đ Due to Geis's strict training and him trying to find ways to impress his dad , he didn't have much time to develop a good friendship despite having great potential.
Carla regretted it
As for Shin, his violent attitude and ego didn't allow him to make him close friends either.
Physical attributes -
Founders just like humans come in various shape and sizesđ Geis's silhouette in YB was a balding short angry man sooo...
The body temperature of the progenitors, like that of vampires, is low (Dark Fate Carla Ecstasy 02) , they also have no vital need for food, and their saliva also has healing abilities.
Founder women have the best blood.
Though viboras aren't affected by moon, founders do have certain affects by full moon especially blood moon .
Immune to poison but not immune to Endezeit (exception -Shin)
Culture and Food
Carla remembered a ball where the Ancestors would gather every evening - "bright and happy", "both old and young": they danced and sang all evening. Looking at them, Carla, who did not particularly like it, felt that his soul was becoming cheerful (DF Carla Ecstasy 06) .
Most of the time, founder children sang and adults danced.
Balls and Galas were a significant part of founder culture especially amongst nobles.
Though it's implied that noble status didn't didn't matter much , almost every founder was equal.
Founder rarely married out of their clan in order to preserve their blood purity. Heavily implied that they involved in incestuous relationship.
Founders who married outside the clan were often heavily criticized.
Founder queen had special ring which was passed down to future queen from generation to generation.
They had their own cultural song singing about their glory days and beauty of their place. Also their own love songs.
Their ball lasted for many nights both old and youth enjoyed it regardless of status .
Almost every founder is wealthy . So status doesn't matter muchđ Only thing matters is your blood.
But there were classes such as businessmen, farmers, carpenters, goldsmith, armourer etc.
They prolly paid taxes to their king.
Founders owned a huge amount of fertile lands.
Which after the death of founders were given to outsider by Shin and Carla as lease to earn money.
Servants in Bandamen were paid handsomely . They were paid better than the servants of other clans
Their dress up/fashion sense implied to be around European from early 18-19th century (YB)
I will headcanon that founder men dressed up like this according to status-
And their women along with expensive jewelriesđ
They had their own coming of age ceremony
Shin in bloody bouquet tells us that there's a rooftop garden in Bandamen where the ladies and their little children used to gather for a tea party and gossip đ Children would happily play. Carla didn't like that place much.
But hey they also loved normal foods like chicken, ham, etc.
Birthdays are probably not celebrated by the progenitors, like all demons. They have no meaning for them. (CD-drama "Born To Die Vol.1")
They probably have variety of dishes involving:đşđŚđŚ đmeats like Bat and snake stir fry, eagle roast, wolf roast etc.
They had their own pastries involving the blood ofđđŚ đŚđş
Founders were much likely monogamous due to scarcity of womenđ
Affairs still happened behind the walls đ
They disliked other clans. They hated the fact that the other clan could be better than them.
They never bow to other clan.
Death is considered as a celebration and as a proof of love amongst them.
Couple killing each other wasn't uncommon đ
Men are expected to pay and provide for their ladies
Men were hella oppressive to their ladiesđ
Their women were trained to be meek and obedient đ Not to talk or involve with other clan.
At least they were allowed to choose their own husband.
Shin once implied in DF it's shameful for founder women to show much skin to others than the relatives.
Still women wore whatever they seemed fit.
Other demons somehow can enter their abode after all in Carla's LP route Walter seems to admit to steal a founders special treasure.
But as founders known to have massive ego and pride which was instilled in them during youth , that founder refused to retrieve his treasure back.đ
ABODEđ°đď¸
As we can see from above pics how much large their home is
Bandamen said to held 10,000 demons though I believe there were much more.
Much likely to be located at the center of demon world.
Nearest territory to founders is ghouls
Founders really likes to stay with each other like look how close their buildings are.
Carla once said in LE probably that founders had a castle deep within the Makai's forest where founders spend their vacation away from other demons.
Their castles are filled with luxurious products which either they bought/won themselves or were offered to them from purists.
This woman is the biggest mystery to me. She's supposed to be doing her maternal duty well (MB manic epilogue Reiji) yet her sons seems to dislike her. Young Reiji was annoyed by Beatrix in MB when she tried to approach him. Young Shu was irritated by her(in his monologues in MB) yet obediently behaved. Shu answered her coldly and monosyllabicly calling her 'anta'đ believing this assent would suit herđ Shu, don't be rude to your mom. Shu considered it nonsense when Carla said Karl destroyed his family.(DF Shu maniac Epilogue). In DF vampire ending of Shu, he said Karl meant a lot to him and was his family and in LE Shu maniac Epilogue Shu understood that Karl had to leave his family to maintain the balance of eden. Shu didn't say anything like that about Beatrix. But Beatrix was the one who was around him during his childhood (and gave him the most attention), not Karlđ¤ Then what's Shu's problem with his mom? Even the triplets sympathesized with their mom not Shu.
Reiji is a sadist, perfectionist, values honour and status, hates mediocrity, has pride as vampire and has a desire to conquer the demon world/stand on the very top of it. He Loves expensive crockeries. He has the desire to torture his mom, wanted to show her true value of things, was upset she died peacefully and he works on potion to resurrect her to give her painful death.(HDB Reiji Maniac prologue, HDB Reiji Ecstasy 2, MB REIJI: maniac Epilogue, ecstasy prologue, heaven 2 ). In DL official fanbook of 1st game, it's said Reiji inherited Beatrix's personality. In DL MB sequel he wished to be hugged by his mom once Poor baby đĽş
Beatrix had mysterious relationship with Karl too. She admired him, mainly his status and strength (MB dark prologue Reiji) Shu had Beatrix's wedding ring (SS the night before wedding) She's lots of expensive jewelaries (HDB Shu ending 1) She's the only wife who calls Karl by his full name.(HDB Reiji Dark Epilogue, MB Reiji Dark prologue) She also sounded frustrated at Karl saying 'Karlheinz, why did you...' Perhaps Karl was avoiding her purposely
Beatrix's Mysterious Death
In MB, Reiji hired the vampire hunter Seiji for this. However, he decided to order the murder for the evening when his father was supposedly supposed to visit her. When ordering the target, he showed Seiji a photo of only his mother. According to the hunter, two were shot, but only Beatrix's body lay in the garden. Reiji was just as unhappy that she died with a smile and, realizing that it was his instigation, praised her son's abilities. At the same time, the young man did not understand where his father could have gone (MB Reiji Maniac Epilogue, Ecstasy Prologue) . Now here Seiji shot 2 people , one is Beatrix and another person.
The question arises who was shot along with Beatrix? Wasn't her husband supposed to visit her that night?đ¤ What she's doing alone with another person when it was known to almost everyone that she's supposed to spend with her husband đ¤¨
If Karl was shot , he definitely would've died or at least lost a limb. Karl is the strongest but he's not immune to vampire bullet. Karl dies from stab through heart (DF ecstasy epilogue Ayato) or from being beheaded. Karl couldn't heal Yuma in vampire form when he's shot from bullet by Merz and turned Yuma into human to heal him.(DF Yuma vampire ending) Azusa had to ampute his arm when he got shot from bullet (DF) A shot from Silver bullet leads to necrosis of cells and then to ultimate death, no in or between.
So the person got shot is definitely not Karlheinz but the person is a man. Reiji, making an order, showed, as in the first game, a photo of his mother only. How exactly Seiji reported the two victims is unknown, but it was logical for him to tell the customer everything as is: that he killed a woman and a man. Not a maid, not some other woman - otherwise he would have reported it that way. And since a man was shot, then, of course, Reiji thought about his father: if it was the parents' date night, who else could it be? His mother, in his opinion, was distinguished by her "chastity", he had no reason to suspect her of cheating. So the moment with one photo was also not just played out.
Could Karlheinz have cast an illusion on Seiji? Most likely not. If Karl was there ,he could've at least saved Beatrix or killed Seiji. Kou's fire magic did not work on Seiji and he is also able to smell vampires(DF Kou ecstasy prologue) which is imperceptible to ordinary people - you can't fool a hunter that easily. That's what a hunter is for. Seiji is said to be a clever hunter by Laito (HDB Laito Maniac 8). Seiji was fooled to go to business trip as a trap that's why he's separated from Yui and was unable to help her(DF Azusa Maniac 8, MB Kanato ecstasy 9-epilouge) I'll currently ignore the fact that he was creepy to Yui in LE subaru brute end.đ
There's very little possibility that the body was a servant's. Because if it was a servant's, there would be no need to hide it. How could a man sneakily meet Beatrix without Karl acknowledging or anyone noticing đ¤ If we look in YB, we knew that Beatrix managed to arrange a lavish age coming ceremony for Shu and Reiji behind Karl's back so her having a secret acquaintance is not much big deal.đ Her plan didn't succeed due to Cordelia informing about it to Karl ,
Maybe someone who can easily go in and out in sakamaki castle without anybody noticing like Richter probably helped this secret acquaintance to meet Beatrix privately just like how Fersen helped Krone to meet Ebert secretlyđ¤
In Azusa DF dark 8 route , Merz tells us an interesting story. Merz had once witnessed a Vampire fall at the hands of a Vampire hunterâs bullet and was shot near the heart so all hope was lost for him as his body simply deteriorated before he eventually passed away.
There's a possibility that this vampire could be the one who's with Beatrix.
Either way Beatrix was quite satisfied with her death. Maybe due to able to see Reiji's ability to instigate/to leave the cruel world/to be able to die with her lover?
i love how you characterize the diaboys and their fem versions! this is a much darker topic but what do you think cordelia's relationship would be like with the fem!triplets and how do you think it would affect them growing up? like i can see her abuse on ayaka being driven by jealousy and she's constantly saying victim-blamey things or getting physically violent with her just because one of her weird suitors gave ayaka unwanted attention :/
this is such an interesting question!! I had to think on it for a bit, but i do have some thoughts
heavy warnings for mentions of s*xual, physical and mental abuse and inc*st down below. please read at your own discretion;
first, i had to think about what made up cordeliaâs characterisation and i think we all know the only two things she cares about are her husband and herself. itâs shown that she sees everybody else as tools for her to get karlâs attention, including her suitors. since she harbours no emotional feelings for them (besides richter kind of, but only because heâs a close relation to karl), i think she wouldnât actually care too much if a suitor looked at one of her daughters in such a way. her ego might be bruised, yes, but she knows perfectly well that men flock to whatever next pretty little thing they see and itâs not something she canât get a handle on as an experienced seductress. it could cause a few snide remarks here and there, but i donât see this as the root cause of her abuse if she had daughters.
i think her abuse would also depend on how the triplets being daughters would change their roles in the family (or to her) too:
i think, overall, if the girls were still considered eligible for the throne as karlheinzâs daughters and vampire society patriarchy just didnât apply to them, i think her jealousy would stem from the power her daughters are able to achieve if one of them does end up succeeding karl, and i see this jealousy mostly veered towards fem!ayato because sheâs the eldest of her daughters and heir. as sons, itâs expected for them to succeed their father, but as girls? itâs a bitter feeling to see your daughters eligible for a greatness that you would never be considered for (and in cordeliaâs case, probably something she thinks she deserves).
now, what if the normal patriarchal standards applied to the daughters? in DL, female characters are mostly wives or mothers of some sort so i assume they canât ascend the throne. the line of succession would pass to richter as karlâs closest male relative, and instead of vying for a throne, the mothers are fighting for the best hands in marriage for their daughters. in this scenario, i see a lot of preening and peacocking. cordeliaâs daughters are only valued for their beauty in this instance and since they are extensions of her, they must outshine beatrixâs daughters. think strict dieting regiments for figure and fertility, an empress sisi level hair routine everyday, corsets tightened to the point of bruised ribs. again, as the oldest, fem!ayato bears the brunt of this, but because of fem!kanatoâs likeness to cordelia with her lilac hair and also her talent for singing, sheâs often pushed towards marriage suitors with the same force. fem!laito is kind of just a spare who isnât as valued as the others, a girl to marry off just so cordelia can gloat about how she managed to get three impeccable matches instead of two, and thatâs why sheâs a better wife and mother than beatrix.
as for how she treats her daughters individually, i think it would go like this;
fem!ayato is in a very similar position to canon ayato. i just think because of the different standards that women have in this world, her appearance is the most important thing. the physical abuse differs too. cordeliaâs claw-like nails raking through her red locks, painful enough to draw blood as she pins it up herself as punishment because fem!ayato was being disobedient to her nannies. instead of being thrown into a lake when sheâs not attending her lessons or being a good child, sheâs made to have scalding baths and scrubbed until her skin is raw and pink, and sheâs not allowed to leave the bathtub until her mother says sheâs clean and pretty enough to come out. her skin would get so wrinkled and sore that in the present day she would only take cold, cold showers. itâs also why she wears baggier clothes and keeps her hair unruly or in loose styles most times; she hates anything that feels too encompassing or structured on her now because it reminds her of the countless boned corsets and heavy dresses she was wrangled into as a young girl.
same with fem!kanato, her situation is very comparable to canon kanato. sheâs made to sing for her mother until her vocal chords bleed, just like in canon, but as a girl sheâs prettied up for it so that sheâs pleasing to look at for both herself and her lovers. cordelia treats her like her very own doll. she coos over how similar her hair is to her own as she brushes it out. she makes fem!kanato sit for hours on end in heavy layers of frothy white dresses, suffocating in lace and tulle. itâs not just her voice that turns cordelia on, either; to have her own little mini-me sitting in the corner and singing so sweetly and obediently for her pleases her greatly too. i think this is where fem!kanatoâs obsession with dainty, delicate things would come from, and why she makes her own dolls out of her favourite victims, too. itâs because she herself was praised as a little girl for being a living one, and she views it as the highest form of appreciation and âloveâ she can have for prey.
i think fem!laitoâs abuse would be much different to what happens to canon laito, but no less horrifying. cordelia is a tremendous narcissist and itâs common for narcissists to acknowledge and be âkinderâ to those who they can see themselves within (think of a character like cersei lannister, for instance). fem!ayato has her trademark green eyes and sheâs the eldest, therefore she is the one that would have the most luck with marriage or being an heir. fem!kanato has her silky smooth hair and she can sing. what does fem!laito have of her mother? the shade of her hair isnât as striking as her older sisterâs and is laughably almost human, and her eyes are a shade too dull to be anything like cordeliaâs own mesmerising ones. she doesnât have any great skill that cordelia has use for, either. but fem!laito is beautiful as she grows a bit older, nobody can deny that. cordelia decides to pawn fem!laito off to her own suitors as a âtoken of appreciationâ, and a way to keep things âdiverseâ. in other words, she prostitutes her daughter out to these men, and the currency she craves and gets in return is devotion from them. fem!laito is not similar to cordelia so the men would not replace her with her daughter, it keeps her suitors loyal and she believes that fem!laito would get some marriage opportunities out of it since many of her lovers are vampire nobility. when fem!laito asks why her mother lets this happen to her and why her sisters werenât getting the same treatment, cordelia tells her that itâs a motherâs way of educating and looking out for her daughter; she tells her daughter that the only useful thing she has is her body, and the only way to succeed in life and to be loved by people (men) is to use it. this causes fem!laito to conflate sex and love, as in canon, and to see that her body is just a vessel in which to get what she wants out of other people.
back to the theme of jealousy, though, i think the thing cordelia would be worried/jealous about the most is, disgustingly, whether karlheinz would be interested in one of their daughters in a wifely way. itâs shown time and time again that incest is extremely frowned upon and shameful in the games (as it should be), but that didnât stop karl from having a child with his cousin. cordelia often worries that he will try and go a step further â not because she cares for her daughtersâ wellbeing, but because sheâs scared he will abandon her for one of them so he can have better suited heirs. of course i think something like that has like a 0.1% chance of happening if the diaboys were girls, but cordelia is a morally depraved and wicked individual and i think this would be somewhere where her mind goes, especially when she thinks about her husbandâs most recent wife.
wow, i didnât mean to write a whole essay, but this was so interesting to think about.

You dropped what you were doing immediately in favor of eagerly reading the match report. âValko Ao,â you read slowly, scrolling down the profile that the website claimed you had a 98.6% compatibility match with.Â
Your eyebrows shot to your hairline. Not only were you compatible, but numbers like that usually indicated an ideal mate. There was just one glaring concern on his profile: he was a wolf hybrid.Â
Your inner prey instincts shrieked in protest. Yet, as you stared at the attached photo, your throat went dry. With his sharp jawline, striking eyes, and furry burgundy ears poking through his hair, the man was undeniably gorgeous.Â
Worse, his profile had a warning listed: Lupine genes present extreme rut cycles. Past cycles managed via pharmaceuticals due to high stamina projections.Â
So, heâs never had a partner, you thought. A pent-up predator didnât bode well, especially not to a bunny. Even so, according to the warning, he had the exact untapped reservoir of energy that you needed to get through your insatiable heats. It certainly didnât hurt that he was breathtakingly easy on the eyes.Â
A sudden, sharp throb low in your belly shattered your hesitation. The early waves of your heat were beginning to roll in, warming your skin and sending a restless twitch through your elongated ears. You didnât have the luxury of time, especially not to second-guess the man that, admittedly, exacerbated the effects of your impending heat.
Shifting your finger across the touchpad of your laptop, you slammed the Accept Pairing button before the more logical side of your brain could talk you out of it.Â
In an instant, the screen flashed with a bold, celebratory notification: MATCH CONFIRMED!
A soft gasp escaped your lips. He had already accepted. Before your mind could fully process that little fact, a new interface slid into view.Â
KnotAlone Chatroom: Valko and You
The text bubble at the bottom of the screen was already bouncing, the three dots doing their usual rhythmic dance before disappearing, replaced by a message that was surprisingly warm for an apex predator.Â
Valko Ao: Hello! So glad you accepted the match. To be honest, I was worried my profile statistics would scare people off.Â
You blinked at the screen, intrigued. His message was devoid of the growling dominance and arrogance you had come to expect from predator hybrids. Another message came through before you formulated a response.Â
Valko Ao: Your profile mentioned needing someone who can match your stamina, right? That works out perfectly. My doctors always insisted that my rut cycles are too intense for a standard pairing, so Iâve just been using suppressants up until now. Iâd love to help you through your heat if youâll have me. When does your cycle start?â
You bit your lip, fingers hovering over the keyboard as a flush crawled up your neck. It was one thing to fill out personal info on a questionnaire, but it was another to openly share with another person.
You: within the next two days at least. Already feeling the warning signs :/
Valko Ao: thatâs fine! I can clear my schedule right away.
His easy, accommodating response did wonders for your nerves. Over the next two days, the anticipated dread of your impending heat transformed into something entirely different. Valko texted you constantly, sending jokes, asking about your personal preferences and hobbies, and sharing bits of his own life. By the time the warning signs had become full-blown symptoms, you found that you were genuinely excited to meet him, even if the circumstances werenât the most ideal.
You woke on the third morning drenched in sweat, your skin hypersensitive to every little touch. Your panties were already soaked and sticking to your swollen folds. It was pitiful, really, how quickly you were made a slave to your own biology, no more able to fight it than you were able to count the stars in the sky.Â
With a shaky hand, you reached for your phone on the nightstand, shooting Valko a simple text, followed by your address.
You: I need you
He replied almost instantly, informing you that he was on his way. With a groan, you dropped your phone onto the bed, curling into yourself and wishing you could sleep away the scorching need coursing through your body. It felt like mere minutes had passed when a knock echoed through your apartment.
You stumbled from your bed to the door, unlocking it and swinging it open to see Valko standing in the hallway, his ears twitching almost nervously. Before he could even say hello, he froze. The combination of seeing you in such a vulnerable state and smelling the sweet, heady scent that seeped from your apartment had rendered him speechless, his mouth watering and his cock already hardening in his pants.Â
He swallowed thickly. For a fraction of a second, Valko tried to hold onto his manners, but the more of you he inhaled, the more he felt like a wolf rather than a man. He opened his mouth to greet you, fighting every urge to pin you to the wall of the entryway and take you there, but his throat constricted and his body locked up.
You could see in the rigid set of his posture that he was at least trying to be a gentleman, but you didnât want a gentleman at the moment. You needed him rough, and you needed him now.
While he was still trying to pull himself together in the doorway, you tugged him in by the fabric of his shirt, the door slamming closed behind him. He stumbled forward, his polite composure crumbling to dust under your touch. You practically dragged him through your apartment to your bedroom, and his hand hovered over your waist.
âIâm Valko,â he finally managed, his voice raspy as his eyes locked onto the way you were already pulling your shirt over your head.
You giggled at that, and Valko thought it was the prettiest sound he had ever heard.
âI sure hope so.â He flushed, embarrassment crawling up his spine. Obviously you knew who he was. You wouldnât have let him in otherwise. He blamed it on your intoxicating scent. It was muddling his brain and making it impossible to focus on anything that wasnât you. You, who was now wrapping your arms around his shoulders and mouthing at his neck, pressing your body flush against his.
Before he could even think, his strong arms landed on your hips, pushing you back slightly to make space. You pouted, and he suddenly felt like a world-class villain.
âEasy, sweetheart. Iâm gonna help you,â he soothed, pushing you backwards until the bed hit the back of your knees. You fell onto the plush on the mattress, bouncing slightly. Your breath quickened. Through the haze of your arousal, you were vaguely aware that you had invited a predator into your home. You were also acutely aware that even the worst of your heat cycles had never affected you as much as the hulking man that was guiding your pliant body to lie against the pillows.Â
âSo pretty,â he murmured, his hands ghosting over your bare skin, his fingertips skimming the lacy fabric of your bra. It was almost painful, the way his cock was straining against his pants.
You placed your hand atop his, guiding it to cup your breast. âYou donât have to be sweet, you know?â
He locked eyes with you, searching for any hesitation or reservations, and found none, only pure want and need. He surged forward, capturing your lips with his. It was messy, all teeth and tongue and unrestrained instinct.
You arched your body into his, your hips grinding against the bulge in his slacks. He groaned into the kiss, his hands shooting down to hook into the waistband of your shorts and panties, pulling both down in one firm tug. Your bra followed shortly after, leaving you entirely bare beneath him. God, you were a fucking vision.
The whimper he let out was pathetic, but he couldnât bring himself to care. Not when a pretty little bunny was completely offering herself to him. Your hands were everywhere, sliding beneath his shirt, stroking his ears, palming his leaking cock. Wherever you could reach.
He reluctantly pulled away from you once more, just long enough to strip his own clothing. His impressive build had you salivating, and your weeping pussy clenched around nothing in anticipation as he resumed his spot above you, your legs on either side of his hips.Â
âPlease, Valko, please I need you,â you practically sobbed, staring up at him with watery eyes. Valkoâs heart thundered in his chest, a possessive pang shooting through his chest.Â
It was too much. Your desperate pleading, your legs spread for him, your cunt on display just for him. It was maddening. He lined himself up with your pulsing hole, and you keened, eager to finally be filled, pushing your hips up to force him deeper.
You were dripping, his thick cock stretching you with ease as he sunk all the way to the hilt. You moaned loudly, your fingers clawing into the sheets. He was so big you swore you could feel him in your throat.
âSo tight,â he groaned deeply, nearly growling. He was already panting and heâd only just begun. âYou feel soâ nghâgood.â
You wrapped your legs around his waist, pulling him into you like you never wanted him to leave. âMore, Valko, pleasepleaseplease,â you begged, urging him to move, to touch you, anything that would quell the wanton need that radiated from your core.Â
His hips snapped into yours, the blunt head of his cock molding your insides around him. It took everything he had not to cum prematurely. Your pussy gripped him like a vice, and he was sure this was as close to heaven as a man could get.Â
The delicious drag of his cock had you beyond words, only able to cry out with pleasure every time his hips met yours. Your breath was ragged as he pounded into your slick hole, and your fingernails left red claw marks on his shoulders that he would later marvel at in the mirror.
âSo perfect,â Valko breathed. âMade just for me.â His face was flushed a magnificent shade of his red, and his eyes were heavily lidded, drawn to the juncture where your bodies met, your slick leaking around his cock and soaking the bedsheets.Â
You cried out his name, the edge of pleasure so tantalizingly close. His name fell from your lips like a mantra, spurring him on, his thrusts losing their rhythm and becoming frantic. He was already swelling at the base, but heâd be damned if he embarrassed himself and finished before you. Inexperienced though he was, he wasnât a total prude.Â
He brought his thumb to circle your neglected clit, sending pleasure shooting up your spine. You squealed, arching into his touch, your pussy spasming tightly around him as your vision went white.
Valko gasped, his own release overtaking him. Hot spurts of cum flooded your fluttering walls, and his swollen knot kept it all plugged snugly inside you and kept you connected to each other.Â
Your vision was hazy, and for the first time in what seemed like an eternity, you actually felt sated, at least for the time being until your body again demanded more of him.
Quiet settled over the room, save for the twin sounds of your heavy breaths. Valko grinned broadly, a chuckle rumbling through his chest as he dropped his forehead onto yours, nuzzling his nose against your face. Behind him, his heavy tail thumped against the mattress.
It was comforting to be wrapped in such strong arms and taken care of, but the peace was short-lived; your body, in its current state, was already squirming beneath him for friction.
Valko groaned deeply, still sensitive from his release only minutes prior, but the thick smell of your pheromones was pulling him into renewed lust right along with you.
Whether it was with your knees pressed to your chest, from behind where he could watch your cute little tail twitch, or holding you on his lap to fuck up into you, he couldn't get enough of you or the sinful sounds you made when he was buried deep inside you. It was hours before he collapsed onto the bed beside you, his cum dripping down your thighs and a satisfied grin on his face as he took in how thoroughly wrecked you looked all because of him.
As your breathing finally slowed, Valko pulled you into his embrace, clawed fingers stroking up and down your back soothingly. âAre you okay? Was that alright?â he asked, his voice rough and vibrating against your skin.
âIâm perfect,â you rasped, burying your face in his chest, your heart swelling at his genuine care. âBetter than perfect. I can see why your profile had a warning on it,â you laughed, recalling the words of caution on his profile.
He let out a soft, pleased sound, his arms tightening around you as if he had absolutely no intention of leaving the bedâor your lifeâanytime soon. It was like your scent had completely rewired the primitive part of his brain, the part that was now claiming you as his own despite the brief acquaintance. Though, to be fair, you had done more than what typical acquaintances do. He didn't think he could be satisfied being just your heat partner.
A flush crawled up his neck as he debated with himself, his wolf ears twitching nervously, but there was no time like the present. âThatâs good. Iâm glad I didn't disappoint.â He hesitated, the words he truly wanted to say sticking in his throat. It didn't help that you were looking up at him with wide, inquisitive eyes. Now that his more animalistic side had been satisfied and your scent wasn't sending him into a frenzy, he could take the time to admire just how delicate your features were.
âI know we still have a few days left to get through, and Iâm not going anywhere, but when this is over, would you want to go on a proper date with me?â
His words had barely even registered before a bright smile lit up your face, and sweet giggles spilled from your lips. You nodded, your long ears shifting with the movement.Â
Valko grinned widely, his sharp teeth on display, both relieved and overjoyed that this had the potential to become more than just a means to satisfy your respective biological instincts. A playful glint flashed in his eyes as he leaned in to press a kiss to your forehead, already planning where to take you. His mind filled with images of youâdressed up all pretty and soft and entirely his.
