mini hiatus
(i hate to do this since i just started but i need to take a small hiatus. school work is really starting to catch up with me and i need to focus on applying for internships so i can graduate hhhhhhhhhhhhh

⌨ - time-wasting habits
Mona does not like to waste time. There’s only so much of it, and she’d rather be spending it getting some work done. However, when everything becomes too much and she just needs some time to let her brain relax, she really enjoys to dance. Mostly by herself, without the prying eyes of others there to judge her. But if the right partner comes along...
Guarding the Potionarium in her little room does tend to waste quite a bit of time. However, she knows it has to be done while they’re working on more lucrative projects, such as the ultimate potion. She wastes her time writing away in her notebook: her thoughts, her ideas, and to-do lists for when she’s finally able to get back to work. However, if you’re trying while she conjures things in an effort to get rid of you, you may catch a glimpse of the intricate, detailed patterns that she likes to doodle in the margins of her notes.
✮ - sleeping habits
Mona is a terrible sleeper. Her mind is always racing and she always feels like she needs to be doing something, even if it’s the bare minimum. More often than not, when the tavern has closed but Mona still hasn’t returned to the Potionarium, PK or the Magicist may find her asleep at her little desk.
It takes a lot for Mona to go to sleep but once she does, she can sleep in nearly any position. On her back, stomach, side, sitting up, even standing if she has something to lean on. Still, the sleep is not very deep and it won’t take much for her to wake up. Being a light sleeper that hardly sleeps is not very good for her but she tries to push through it as best as she can. She also uses various concoctions of her own design to keep herself awake.

I do not have a designated voice for mona in the same way I might for…Quickly, for example (that is another post for another time). I have definitely been on the look out though as i watch and listen to different pieces of media.
In just description alone, I would say that mona seems to have a rather monotonous voice. Especially when she is pulling her “peaceful solitude” routine, she tries to sound as boring and disinterested as possible. As you get to know her though, she definitely loosens up more and there’s a much wider range to her vocals. When she’s engaging in “mad science” activities, she tends to get a lot more unhinged, with higher octaves and more impassioned speech.
Lastly, important note is that she snorts when she laughs. That is all.
☁ - ideal holiday
I’m not sure if this means general holidays or like the ideal time off.
Because for the former its halloween. how could it not be? it’s a time for her and PK to spread mischief and for the most part they can walk around freely (unless they’re recognized of course, which is a real possibility)
For just time off honestly it’s just doing work? Alchemy is her passion and if she has free time, she’s just going to be spending it continuing her research. More than likely it will be something personal, an idea that has nothing to do with PK, the ultimate potion, or anything else she’s doing in conjunction with others. Just something that she’s working on by herself, for herself.
(mmmmm i hate to do this because im usually all about follow for follow when it comes to rp blogs but im going to have to unfollow everyone from fandoms that im not at all familiar with. if you’re really interested in rping with me please message me and i’ll definitely refollow but being flooded with content i don’t know anything about is really overwhelming. im sorry!!)

headcanon: appearance
since advancing her skills, mona has always been able to change her appearance back to something considered more “normal” but she chooses not to. despite how much easier it would make her life--especially when it comes to the funds for her many projects--she never dreams of going back.
she has never felt normal and trying to live like a normal person--disguised as a normal person--just feels like she’s betraying herself. although becoming green was an accident, she’s never felt more comfortable in her own skin.

Mona could not have picked a worse moment to ask this very question. Mole Knight wants to avoid it, and he does, for some long moments. Nervously folding his claws between each other, waddling off some meters and slowly in circles. Waiting for her to grow tired and leave so he does not have to answer. But… It doesn’t work… He stops and sighs, his side facing her.
“Everything.”
She stands there, waiting, a hand placed gently on her hip. And she waits, and waits, and continues to wait, her expression unreadable. Green eyes follow his movements but once the answer penetrates the silence of the room, they fall to her hand, inspecting her nails.
“I can do that for you,” she says matter-of-factly, “Permanent changes to appearance can be done...though they are in no way cheap. Or easy.” That wasn’t entirely true. She knew very well just how easy altering your appearance could be, digging out some dirt that stood in stark contrast to the green beneath her nail.
“But for the right price anything is possible.”
