a lot of ppl dont seem to know what is a big larrie or how to define or they just reject the term out right because they dont want their feelings or their friend’s feelings to get hurt which okay but here are some things big larries do

big larries have a lot of manipulation their followers believe most if not everything they say like jesus and his disciples they also use this power lightly they post receipts left and right and they basically use their follower account for their own gain whether it is to be right or to prove somebody else wrong. 

big larries are usually older so in the case of a younger follower they might look up to this blogger as sort of a person to pin their hopes and dreams on. They’re sometimes shamed for their age which i dont agree with but their age can be an advantage when it comes to telling their followers well… anything really. When you have an adult figure like that almost an authority figure its hard to argue against them.

Honestly and that is the biggest part, its not just a lot of followers, or just receipts, or good posts. They analyze they make masterposts communicate with each other and pick apart a lot of the details the rest of us cant be bothered to touch and tbh they offer really good points at times but like everybody they can be very problematic and thats where it all collapses.

I wouldn’t mind big larries but they manipulate their followers over and over again and almost never admit they are wrong.

There are some people others consider big larries and some people others don’t it all depends on the blogger you ask but what’s interesting about this fandom PARTICULARLY the larrie fandom is that most of the people who control the general opinions are in fact big larries and nobody really fights against that this almost hierarchy we posses and thats what sort of scary

of course we all have the power to log off but words hold more power than people realize and when you have young impressionable teens internalizing major bullshit statements it has the potential to get ugly.

the term ‘big’ larrie to me implies someone who manipulates or speaks as if their word is fact and gospel this isn’t something that blogs become at a certain  of followers or with a certain number of masterposts or with a certain number of mutuals of similar size and influence

what it comes down to in my eyes is 2-pronged manipulation (malicious or not intended or not) AND a lack of self-awareness or acknowledgment of the problems with their behavior this i’m above reproach mindset feeds back into a manipulation cycle because followers see them refuse to acknowledge mistakes and then think that behavior or thought process is ok
