May i ask what the lore is with the cockdrones?

I’m still writing the lore for the Cockdrones, but to summarize, they are a race of humanoid insect-like species that live in matriarchal societies or “Hives.” They are infamous across the galaxy for their xenophobia and brutality. They have attempted to conquer the entire Milky Way galaxy numerous times over the millennia, only stopped by united efforts of other species and their own in-fighting.

“Cockdrones” is a name given purely to the male members of the species, the females take the titles of Queen and Virago. Queens mainly reproduce, while Viragoes take part in military campaigns and administration.

Cockdrone culture views existence as a constant struggle of survival of the fittest and their live’s purpose is to prove themselves superior to all others through slaughter, displacement and extermination of the weaker species.

Imagine a Waffen SS battalion from space, combined with the Spanish Conquistadors with the gleeful sadism of Steven Spielberg’s Gremlins. Put them all together and you get Cockdrones.
