There was a shrug of her shoulders as she followed Andromeda to where she was leading. “Honestly I wasn’t sure if you had the time besides you know I hate bothering you with things like this. But parting with this jacket would honestly break my little heart.” Marlene knew that she could count on the other woman to share her sentiment when it came to the clothes that you loved. “Honestly it was a blur, I think in truth he was trying to get me out of the way but I snagged on a nail in the house we were hunting in.” Glancing at the patch in her hand there was a wrinkle of her nose as she considered before there was a nod, “Pink works actually. It gives it character.” She did her best to stay back enough to not be counted as hovering but also didn’t dream of moving far enough that she couldn’t see what was going on. Perhaps she could even get lucky enough to learn a thing or two so that they weren’t in this situation again. “Hey now.” Her hands were up in mock defense at the assurance that there was no date. “You can’t blame a girl for asking.”
Meda didn't mind that Marlene wanted to stay as close as she did, it was comforting. "Oh don;t be silly! You know I love anything to do with clothes." A soft laugh filled the air as she pinned the patch to the underside of the jacket to prep it for the machine. " Well that is way more anticlimactic than I anticipated!" Meda giggled as she began to sew the patch to the jacket effortlessly. I was hoping you enjoy it! There's only so much you can do with pink fabric you know?" She hummed in thought as she continued her work, speaking every so often as if to teach Marlene what to do herself. "I haven't been on a date in ages. Not many people want to date a single mother." A soft smile planted on her lips as she winked up at the girl. "What about you, missy?"
