Sunlight Protection - Very important, not all Vampire burn but most get sunburnt way more often than mortals do. If you can invest in UV-blocking fabrics and blackout curtains for your lair. Along of course with hats, sunglasses and cover-ups. Darling, you never really see me at the pool anymore, has the sun gotten hotter or is it just me?
Feeding Etiquette - Again not all Vampires feed but if you do always obtain explicit consent when possible, or feed on willing participants to avoid unwanted hunters, you don't want to cause a witch-hunt so to speak. But that's only if you don't enjoy the taste of animal blood, most feeders drink the animal kind.
Evidence Management - Ill make a post for vampire that want to keep their lives more hidden from others if you want. But the basics are - Learn to clean blood, Move to a colder location, Take the night-shift, and learn the modern lingo.
Ancestry - Its very important the moment you turn that you log your birthdate, your SSN, you turn-date, your parents names, and start an online family tree. It can help a lot in the long run.
