I made my own design of Willard based off the image i had of him in my head while reading + loosely took inspiration from the movie versions. Tried making him look rat-like but still believably human, I did fairly well i think

feels like i dont talk nearly enough about what i do so here's two previews of some characters that I'm going to practice 3D modeling with. the plan is to work out a nice process for creating the 2D references, then learn 3D modeling+rigging, and eventually making them into avatars for VRChat and whatnot. Long journey ahead but I'm not completely new to the process so I think it'll be fun.

when you die, all the processes in your body slow down and come to a halt before starting to decay. which means if you were to revive someone from the dead, necromancer-style, you'd potentially have to kickstart their entire system back up from a state of inertia. which means it almost certainly would not be pretty. i'm talking coughing up clots of blood, nauseatingly intense migraines and muscle cramps, and all the sensory overload that would come with firing up the body's engines from frozen cold to fully functioning all guns blazing in the matter of seconds it takes to cast a resurrection spell.

Wrote the grossest “becoming a vampire while coming back from the dead and de-ageing by several decades” scene with some friends. Heavy use of the word “sloughing”.

After discussing the Guard from Subway Surfers with my brother, I came to a realization that I could not put into simple words. I had to make this graph. The graph is self-explanatory, the X-axis is the spectrum of how much a job means to an individual, the Y-axis is a spectrum of how seriously they take their work.

The Subway Surfers Guard cares so little about his job that he is willing to run miles away from his post at inhuman speeds to catch a 13-year-old vandal. This man is NOTHING without this job. There is no sense of purpose for him if he's not failing to keep children from spray-painting the property. He will leave work at a moment's notice to fulfill his duty to the most nonsensical extent. Do you see my vision.
