EXPOSING a DIRTY TACTIC Used to AVOID TRUTH
"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all argument, and which cannot fail to keep man in everlasting ignorance.
That principle is condemnation before investigation."
-Edmund Spencer

A man I admired for years as being the greatest Apologist of our time. I quoted him in past posts as well. Ravi, you will be missed!
“Weakness may excite tenderness, and gratify the arrogant pride of man; but the lordly caresses of a protector will not gratify a noble mind that pants for, and deserves to be respected. Fondness is a poor substitute for friendship.”
— Mary Wollstonecraft, A Vindication of the Rights of Woman
Yes, I agree so much!
I can't count the times I get a message from a man on a lame dating site. When I turn him down, all of a sudden he becomes Dr. Phil. He says, "no wonder you are still single!"
Really man? You are single as well, but some how you know better as to why I'm single because I am simply not interested in you?
Being single isn't a bad thing by the way. I'd rather live a single life than be in a relationship with a man I have no love or passion for. That's much worse. I refuse to compromise my standards. It's a moral perative. But that's kind of intense, most times he just a loser or douche bag with no class. Lol!
We can do better, and deserve better.
“Only those who know the supremacy of the intellectual life ─ the life which has a seed of ennobling thought and purpose within ─ can understand the grief of one who falls from that serene activity into the absorbing soul-wasting struggle with worldly annoyances.”
— George Eliot, Middlemarch
“It is the nature and intention of a constitution to prevent governing by party, by establishing a common principle that shall limit and control the power and impulse of party, and that says to all parties, thus far shalt thou go and no further. But in the absence of a constitution, men look entirely to party; and instead of principle governing party, party governs principle.”

Anarchy is Just Another term for Suicide
Are you a fan of the AMC series The Walking Dead? I am, though I must admit I only watch it on Netflix, not as it comes out. I like it because when it first started it was quite engaging, but l'll admit, the show seems to get boring at times and pathetic. Great story, but the stupid things people do annoy everyone. That's not my point here.
I like watching thought provoking shows. If the the world was plunged into some sort of chaos, how would humanity react and survive? That is what interests me, not the zombies. In fact the whole zombie thing irritates me because it's nonsense and not logical. A human body decaying and falling apart could not move about just the same way a car could not drive about if all the internal tubes and hoses were cut out and the tires were slashed. It's ridiculous. Only a puppet master could make a broken thing move again, like a demon possession or some other unknown force taking complete control. This show has no such pretensions, so it's quite silly to the logical types.
The thing I like about it is the human story. How do people survive after their culture and way of life completely was destroyed. The real threat is other living people. It's a complete through back to barbarism.
Why do Anarchists think this is the best way to solve the modern day problems? It's just so ridiculous. New groups and enemies will form and be more violent and threatening than anything you have ever encountered in your life. Life will be more brutal and hard, and you will always probably be on the verge of starvation or dehydration. But anarchists believe it's somehow better than living in a civilised society in America today?
No, most likely you would just die. If you can't fight and rise above the mediocre life you have now, what chances do you have when even the little comfort you enjoy now are stripped away and you have nothing.
Anarchy is suicide, but worse. You are like a terrorist that wants to take everyone else down with you. You know you will die, just hope to make others die too. Why? Just why? It's such a ridiculous option, but too many people think it is a good way to correct society. No, no, no, no, no, no...
“The Law is no man’s enemy: the Law is no man’s rival. Ask the clamorous and unruly multitude – it is never the Law itself that is in the wrong: it is always some wicked interpreter of the Law that has corrupted and abused it.”
— Jeremy Bentham, A Fragment on Government
“People hate the truth for the sake of whatever it is that they love more than truth. They love truth when it shines warmly on them, and hate it when it rebukes them. The truth is like a lion. You do not have to defend it. Let it loose. It will defend itself.”
— St. Augustine, Bishop of Hippo
“The free intellect will see as God might see, without a here and now, without hopes and fears, without the trammels of customary beliefs and traditional prejudices, calmly, dispassionately, in the sole and exclusive desire of knowledge—knowledge as impersonal, as purely contemplative, as it is possible for man to attain.”
— Bertrand Russell, The Problems of Philosophy
I Rejected Facebook, and No longer Use It
I haven't made updates or posted anything on Facebook for a few years now. I don't bother reading my friends post either. It's not that I intentionally wish to be antisocial or negative, I just realized the grave privacy violations taking place and refused to take part of this modern social and technological craze. It's convenient, yes, but at what cost? I'd rather be a nobody than be popular on an intrusive tech that violates me every way possible online. Big Brother is and has been present for years now. It's not the government necessarily, they are too stupid to come up with original ideas, they just steal tech from private company's to do their bidding.
I refuse to participate in any add or survey that comes my way. I do not want to play into anything that helps the big corporations make more money by manipulating the masses. I skip or reject every add I see online. Please do the same, if you believe as I do.
I also look up random crap and arbitrarily search things I have no interest in just to test the algorithms at play. I get very off or weird advertisements as a result, but I reject them nonetheless.
Please Defend Free Speech no Matter What is Said.
I tried to watch a video from Imogen Heap that I like and have seen before, even posted before, but YouTube no longer allows it. I'm very disturbed by what is going on with this site. They banned Alex Jones too, what is to come of the free internet? He was controversial of course, but to ban him all together, WTF? I'm outraged by this censorship, and know that this decision and move will negatively effect everyone regardless of your political stance. Free speech is just that, free, regardless of how outrageous it may be. It has always been a double edge sword, but better than silencing a voice intent on discussing the reality. I'm so pissed right now!
