being a literature girlie and a Tomorrow X Together fan just makes so much sense, those are real life fairytale princes
Watch me spoilers !
I mean I lowkey always knew Juliette was going to have fertility issues or straight up be unable to have kids due to the everything that was done to her but fawwwk it still hurts to read her going through all of that during her pregnancy. I just want my baby to be happy pleeeease let them have this one thing 😭
Warner & his revolutionary sentiment
I’ve been seeing this idea go around that Warner didn’t really want revolution/to fight back and he only supported the cause because it’s what Juliette wanted, and while I understand why people say that I fear I have to disagree.
I think we often forget that Warner was put in an impossibly difficult position since he was a kid (supporting the establishment vs not helping his mom), and how that molded his actions and way of thinking later in life.
Ever since before he came into power as a sector leader, we see him take initiative rooted in wanted to help the people around him and these same things backfiring and doing more harm than good. He came up with the idea of using the shipping containers as temporary housing for the residents of the sector because they were sturdy, but that ended up becoming permanent housing and the reestablishment never rebuilding. We see him monitor the lives of his citizens and kill a man for abusing his wife and kids only for his father to kill the same family he was trying to protect. Do we not think that this, plus being held down by his need to obey his father so he could stay close to his mom and potentially find a cure for her muffled his desire to do better even a little bit?
These actions might’ve not be seen as explicitly revolutionary—he wasn’t trying to burn everything down by doing those things—but he wasn’t being complacent either.
Juliette might’ve been the catalyst for him to actually join the revolution, but you cannot convince me he didn’t want it. Because, mind you, this is the same man that basically starts jumping for joy when he realizes Juliette is ready to fight back against his father and offers his help completely unprompted.
In later books, do we think he really didn’t want to fight back anymore or did he just react badly because he saw the girl he just asked to marry him almost turn herself inside out and the people she was trying to protect almost completely disregard her? Do we think he said fuck the revolution or do we think he almost had the love of his life almost die in his arms for the second time in a few months so he told everyone to go fuck themselves?
He might say he doesn’t care about anyone else and does everything for her but I think we need to realize we cannot take everything he says at face value. This man is a known liar and he can say he doesn’t care about people a million times but his actions prove otherwise every time.
Aaron Warner once again canonically older than me…I used to dream of times like this

there is no case to build imo cyrus obliterated kamran baddd… like mr gold veins is not recovering from that
LMAO listen I like Kamran and everything but Cyrus pushing Alizeh off the cliff was more iconic than anything he ever did. Cyrus literally showed up, served cunt, murdered the king, and left with the girl and I have no choice but to stan

“There is such a thing as evil in this world,” Elias told her quietly. “It does not help to look away from it. It does not even help, necessarily, to look at it.” His fingers brushed through her hair, and she shivered. “But sometimes, when you cannot force the world to come to its senses, you must settle only for wiping away some of the small evils in front of you.” — olivia atwater, half a soul
Currently building my case for Alizeh/Cyrus endgame

hello darling! I'm reading the shatter me saga and mention is made of a bird, who is that bird and why does Juliette dream of that? Spoilers don't matter, I just want to know, please
oh happy valentines day!!! ❤🥰
hi love, happy valentines! so the bird is kind of two different things, one of them is just a literal memory from Juliette's childhood involving birds. The other is meant to symbolize freedom or her desire for freedom -- she dreams of the bird while she's in the asylum or when she feels trapped in omega point, and the dreams stop when she associates the bird with Warner, I think kind of showing that he is her freedom or that that dream was sort of guiding her to him
