Something had gone wrong. Truth be told, he had absolutely no clue what—One minute he had successfully done a hyper space run, jumping from the atmosphere of Lydax into the dusty stratosphere of the planet covered in holes. While it was not the best to fly around inside of, the outside was vast and spacious—Grian just wasn’t aware of the dust storms from the mountains and how harsh they could be. They must’ve clogged his thrusters and piled in the main OMS engine, and as a result, auto-locked on Grian.
“Shoot!” He yelled, the feeling of exasperation catching up to him faster than he was prepared for. He felt it in the middle of his chest first, before the pressure expanded rapidly, and the panic began to muster.
“Okay. Okay okay okay, this is fine. Emergency brake, emergency brake,” He muttered to himself as he forced his body forward. The cloud of dust was there for a mere few seconds before it wasn’t, revealing a very distant object that gleamed in the distance. Grian couldn’t make it out, nor did he have any interest to do so in the moment. He’d probably miss it anyways, with his level of elevation—so he chooses to focus on finding the emergency brake.
That is before the ship begins to tip downwards with the sudden pull of the planet’s gravitational field. Fuck.
