in fanfiction we must sometimes ask ourselves not if he would do that but under what conditions would he would do that
I think this is very wise. A lot of people don't see fan fiction as a real genre or for "real" writers. But that is not true. You can have very talented writers who write fan fiction, and in doing so, they spend a lot of time building up scenarios that bend and pressure known characters into doing things they wouldn't normally do. It's all about creativity and truly understanding that characters are people and are round.
For instance, most people wouldn't murder someone under normal conditions, but also, most people can be put into a wild position where they do at least consider murder. Charters are the same in that they can be pressured, convinced, coerced, and otherwise to do things, for lack of a better term, very out of character for them. As a reader, you shouldn't just get mad that a character did something you couldn't imagine them doing in the normal timeline; instead, ask if, under the given situation and circumstances, would they? Could they? Should they? And as a writer, it is up to you to build a timeline where that is conceivable.
I think if a writer is able to do this convincingly, it is a true testament to their skill as a storyteller.

Meet the rusty-spotted cat (Prionailurus rubiginosus). Known as the “hummingbird of cats,” this species is one of the world’s smallest felines, reaching weights of only 3.5 lbs (1.6 kg). Primarily nocturnal, this cat uses its large eyes to hunt under the cover of darkness. It can be spotted in parts of Southeast Asia including India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.

I think this would make a lovely addition to the animals in #TtT she loves animals and im thinking of getting her a kitty to go along with her mechivious puppy.
"I write for my own enjoyment"
And
"I'm happy when people interact with my writing"
Are two sentences that can coexist!
Still learning this. Sometimes I get stuck in "will people like this" but at the end of the day, its for me and if others like it, grear
this screams Kavil energy lol he wants Charbel ready but loved
Sometimes fiction doesn’t have a moral to the story. Sometimes fiction points at something and goes “Ever thought about THAT???” And you look at what it’s pointing at for a bit.
This helps me because im always worried about what people are going to get out of my art, when in reality they can just get the story and think about it and what they feel about it

every time i write i think about that maya angelou quote where she talks about her editor asking her why she uses semicolons instead of colons and says she has often responded by threatening to never speak to him again

This punishment scene got me
She didn’t move; she couldn’t. She knew exactly what came whenever they enetered those cordores, that dongon, that room. The prince turned and made his way back to her, lifting his hand to her cheek, giving a gentle caress. “We don’t have to go down there, you know. All you have to do is tell me where she is. Tell me where Hata went, and we will turn around and head for a nice hot bath.” Her lips pressed with fear and stubbornness. He sighed, a sound of disappointment. It was quickly followed by his light touch snapping around the back of her neck and into her hair with a force she had grown to know well.
He's worried about stepping on flowers. He loves nature.
