chrysalis INVADING HER HOME is top tier. because wtf is marinette supposed to do now? there’s no way this got lila off the scent, absolutely no way.

telling her parents was completely unexpected too! although something tells me they knew just a little bit, judging by the way they didn’t question why their teenage daughter would be the one to go check the literal imposter in their home. i could be reading too deep into that but ain’t no way i’d let my 16ish year old kid go confront a random stranger in my home!!

with marinette revealing her identity to her parents, i wouldn’t be surprised if adrien/chat noir reveals himself to marinette as well. i don’t see ladybug NOT telling her team that her home has been infiltrated, she’d at least tell alya.

the writing this season has had me on the edge of my seat! it’s no longer as predictable as it was before. lila is making moves that gabriel never even thought of in the first place. i CANNOT wait for the season finale!!!

Saw a post the other day talking about how Marinette has a picture of Master Fu hanging on the wall in her bedroom. Then I imagined Adrien seeing it, and being like, “hey, Marinette? Why do you have a picture of Master Fu?”

And Marinette will start to make up some lie, and then stop cause she realizes that Adrien said “Master Fu” and will be like, “how do you know who Master Fu is?”

And Adrien would freak out and look for an excuse, then say, “oh, he was my substitute language teacher one time!” (True statement).

And then Marinette panics and can’t come up with a lie, so she either:

A) freaks out and confesses that she’s ladybug and tells Adrien Master Fu used to be the guardian of the Miraculous.

B) tells Adrien “oh, he’s just a nice guy who I helped out once when he fell” then Adrien asks when, and she’s like, “oh, I think it was the first day of school, or something? It was a while ago” and Adrien then thinks that Master Fu almost gave Marinette the cat miraculous instead of him.

(Let’s pretend Adrien knows that Fu gave him the ring cause he helped him when he fell)
