the reason for this sudden motivation to visualize is john crowley’s interest in bringing the story to screen–i really want to have a go at presenting my image of the story (especially as someone who visualizes really intensely as i read) before the visual interpretation is tied down to an “official feature film” (not that i have anything against film adaptations, i love films, i just love this book and what i saw in my head more, so what i’m saying is i’m 30% bitter, for completely selfish reasons, anyway)

‘Star Trek Beyond’ confirms that Hikaru Sulu is gay

During a promotional event in Australia, actor John Cho confirmed that beloved Star Trek character Hikaru Sulu is gay. According to Cho, writer Simon Pegg and director Justin Lin decided to make Sulu canonically gay in the upcoming movie, Star Trek Beyond. The reason why will warm your emotionless, Vulcan heart.
