Hi guys! I guess this is my blog now, mainly will consist of The Chosen posts and anything Biblical related (may also consist of a few random posts of things I like as well). I am trying to get into writing so if there are any request for fan fic related to The Chosen I'll post a separate thing for that. I want this to be a safe space where God can be praised and people can interact freely. Please be nice to each other and may the Lord bless you all <3

My favorite colors are blue, green, and yellow
I hope to make some friends and am looking to build by writing skills through not only fanfiction

Requests!
If I do end up writing stuff, I would prefer people do not stela, translate or use my work for their own, but you can always repost and share with your own community. If you do end up wanting to use some of my work, please ask!
If you want to request, please be specific, I want to make sure I get it right firstly, but also "do whatever you want idc" isn't a lot to work with. Something along the lines of the character the plot/scenario, and the time (episode or scene) would be so much help. Get as specific as you want but this is the bare minimum please.
Please do not constantly message me or request, I will acknowledge you sent me the request but I may not be able to get to it or be able to come up with something. I will try to get back asap but I also kind of have a life so it could be a bit. (soon in Jesus' words) If I feel a request is too iffy, I will try to compensate for the iffyness. But please allow me to say no to a request if I am uncomfortable or unsure on how to write it.
I'll write more as it comes to it, but please be kind and gracious to anyone and everyone you interact with. Love others because HE first loved us.

When you get woken up in the middle of the night by Leander, some unexpected feelings begin to surface, leaving you questioning if Leander has been feeling the same.
I don’t know if there are any Leander girlies out there but the scene where he breaks in to Andrew, Philip, and Judas’ house made me think of this. First official fic so I hope it's good! (please give me feedback and what I should change! I am always open for suggestions!)

“Y/N!” Leander, nearly pushing you off your cot, loudly whispers while trying to wake you up.
“What?! What? What is it?” You whisper back in an aggravated tone while frantically turning around and rubbing the sleep out of your eyes.
“Y/N, we have to go.” Leander says, poorly attempting to not sound nervous.
“Go- go where?! It is the dead of night and why- why are you rummaging around my stuff?” You say as you watch the blonde man running around your room collecting your items he deems important.
“I’ll explain on the way, get up! Come on!” Grabbing your arm and yanking you out of bed onto your feet. Attempting, and failing, not to blush at how he picked you up so effortlessly.
“Well good morning to you too sunshine! What’s for breakfast, the deadly berries we pick up off the ground or the grasshoppers by the wayside?”
“Now is not the time Y/N, this is very important and it is way too early for you to be making jokes.”
Deciding to refrain from any more harsh commentary, you follow Leander while raising your arms in surrender. Trying to seem helpful, you grab the bag he has started packing for you and rummage through to see what he has grabbed.
“Leander, what is all this stuff? How long are we going to be gone?”
He turns to you for a brief moment before finding what he's looking for. “It's for something important.”
“Well thank you for that striking revelation but ‘important’ seems very vague right now.” Muttering to yourself as you continue to rummage around your bag, taking a mental note of everything. The room became too quiet too fast, looking up to find your answer, as he is nearly running out of your home, onto the path, into the dead of night. “Leander! You know the darkness freaks me out- why are you walking so fast! Please slow down.” You say trying to keep up with his long strides.
He doesn't reply as you struggle to keep up, trying not to notice the way the moonlight makes him look like a statue, maybe not a roman one, but the greek ones, made from marble, and the way his eyes catch the light and look like the ocean from your childhood- “Y/N!” He yells as you walk head first into a tree. The rough bark makes a nice mark into your forehead as you rub the now sore spot. Leander grabs your arm to steady you, the warmth of his gesture almost hidden by the already forming red blotch. “Oh my- are you ok?! Let me see.” He gently pulls your arm away from your forehead to get as good a look as he can in the moonlight. His blue eyes now catching the light perfectly, the lines on his face gentle but sharp as stone, he seems almost dream-like. The closeness does not go unnoticed by either of you as he examines the mark. You almost feel sad as he pulls away, deeming that you’ll survive. He gives you a soft smile before his relentless pace begins again.
—Time skip to Capernaum (brought to you by Andrew’s donkey dancing)—
“Leander, this is not a good idea!” You whisper loudly to him, as he now holds a small dagger prepared to fiddle with the lock of a closed window. He had finally, after deciding to slow down for a moment, explained what was happening. How he needed to talk to the two men who came to the decapolis earlier that month to speak and had ruptured the steady string of peace the melting pot of the decapolis had sustained.
You did not, however, think this would be important enough to break in through someone’s window.
“These people may not even know us!”
“They’ll remember us when we remind them.”
“Yes but I don't think the best way to introduce ourselves is by- and you’re climbing through ok.”
Leander has whittled his way with the lock on the window. Slowly, he leaned in and looked around. He turned around quickly to put a finger over his lips, then began to crawl further in. After crawling through and basically falling, “A graceful fall,” you thought, two men begin frantically asking who is there as you freeze in you mid-crawl-mid-lean position in the window. As the three men scramble out of bed, Leander tries to reason with the two men to remember him. “Andrew, Philip, it’s me, Leander.” He begins as the men, you now assume are Philip and Andrew, try to wake up quickly.
“Who?!”
“Ok, take it easy-”
“Its Leander! From Naveh!” He tries to reason again, dagger and hands raised in surrender, you remain in the window as a terrible feeling settles in, is this the right house?
Suddenly, a third man from in a top bunk jumps down, “with as much grace as a baby deer” you think to yourself, grabs a knife out of a nearby bag and proceeds to whip around…
“Drop your kni-”
…with the knife cover still on. Ripping it off quickly, as if hoping no one would notice, he finishes his threat. Leander, seeming to have remembered he was carrying the knife, immediately starts apologizing and drops it. After a beat, the men proceed with their interrogation.
“Who are YOU?”
“What is happening…?”
“Who is SHE-?!”
“You guys remember me right? I- I was the one who showed you out when the council said you had to go.” He frantically flails his arms around, a nervous habit he had acquired when you were just teenagers. A longer beat passed, you prayed to whatever gods were listening that this was the right house. “Leander…I-” you begin leaning further in, when one of the men finally has a sliver of a memory of who Leander is.
“Leander?” Philip questions.
“Yes!”
“.....Leander.”
Realization finally dawns on the two student’s faces, but relief and realization suddenly turns to exasperation.
“Why didn’t you just KNOCK?!” Andrew yelped, nearly making you jump out of your skin, and the window.
“I DID but I didn't want to shout!”
“Personally,” You decided it was your turn to explain your dear friend’s stupidity. “I thought this was a terrible idea, but of course, I-” your hand slips off the ledge of the window and you are falling in the strange students’ house, getting a face-full of basket on your way down. Groaning and rubbing your cheek that took most of the force, you sit up and look around the spacious room. The three men have a face mixed with confusion and shock, while Leander looks like he is second guessing throwing the dagger across the room.
Groaning as you try to get to your feet, Leander finally snaps out of his trance and rushes to help you.
“Did you have to fall?”
“Did you have to break into a random person’s house?”
“Well I needed to-”
“Oh I know you just needed to-”
As the frivolous whisper-yell-banter continued, Andrew, Philip, and the third man looked at eachother with growing confusion.
“-and of course you had to bring me alo-”
“Yes! Because if I didn’t, I-”
“Who is SHE?!” Andrew finally interrupts your back and forth. Both freezing, Leander turns around and tries to explain.
“Uh, um, this is Y/N, she is uh, my um-”
”Is this really a good time for introductions?” You finally jump in, getting more anxious the longer you stood there having to listen to Leander’s attempts at an explanation. “What were you saying earlier? About the um, whatever it was?” You try turning the conversation back. “Oh! Yes, right, no one can know I- WE are here,” frantically gesturing to the two of you. Philip, Andrew, and the mysterious third man take a breathe and seem to relax a little bit, although annoyed.
”What happened?” Philip breaks the silence.
“The Decapolis is up in arms because of you.”
“What are you talking about we- we didn’t- what- we didn’t even go to any cities in the Decapolis!”
”People from here overheard you in Naveh, like me, and not everyone took it as well as I did.”
Andrew begins shaking his head in confusion and Philip seems to be looking for an answer in the floor.
“Took what?”
”Your preaching! The consequences of your mission were disastrous-“
”Consequences?” Andrew’s eyes widen in shock and what seems to be fear.
“The Decapolis is mostly-” You begin to zone out, remembering the fights that have been happening daily in the Naveh streets. Men fighting over little things, women ushering their children away in fear, it had been a daily challenge to just make it to the small stand you worked at in, what was left of, the small town central. Stealing had become a daily occurrence, and one man almost deemed you worthy of being stolen. You didn’t know how much longer the town, or you, could take of this constant fear and worry caused by two men teaching. “Oh man,” you snap out of your trance, “you guys must have really turned the place upside down.” the man in the back says with a small huff of a laugh. Glaring eyes met him and he raised his hands and apologized. “You said your teachings were interrupted, incomplete.” Leander began again. “Well, not by choice. We were sent away.” Philip tries to reason.
“But what you did say spread to the ten cities of the Decapolis. The tensions we have in Naveh boiled up everywhere. The whole area.”
“It’s the new wine skins bursting in the old.” Philip said turning to Andrew who was nodding in agreement. Your first thought being, “New wine skins? Are they drunk?”
“What?” You voice your thoughts. “Is this really a time to be thinking about wine? The Decapolis in being taken over by your teachings and all you can think about is wine?” Leander immediately turns to begin explaining when Andrew cuts him off. “Our teacher gave us a metaphor, that you cannot put new wine into old wine skins, that the old wine skins would burst.”
“Which is why you need to come back, the people are desperate to hear more from your teacher, they are hungry for the words of your rabbi, Jesus.” Leander turns back to the men. Andrew and Philip look at eachother, trying to find a reasonable explanation. “It- It was an isolated mission. It- we- we were sent out two by two, for a specific time, to strengthen and unify our people.”
“Your mission can’t be over.” You sidestep Leander to step in front of him. “It is a free-for-all out there! People are dying because of disagreements, terror is broken out in the streets daily and you are just going to drop all this confusion on us and leave?”
“Of course not!”
“The come back and finished what you started.” Leander touches your shoulder to guide you to the side. Andrew looks up in a silent prayer while Philip turns to lean on the bed in thought. Andrew gives a pleading look back to the third man that the man just returns with a shrug. “Next time, knock louder!!” Andrew yelps in tired frustration. Leander holds up his hands while you turn your face to hide a laugh. Your laugh become contagious as Leander and the rest of the men begin to laugh deliriously, leaning on beds and flopping onto table benches. “So,” the man in the back begins, “Who are YOU?” He asks, pointing to you. “Oh, right um, I guess introductions would be appropriate, I’m Y/N.” Sheepishly smiling at the three men. “And why did you bring her?” Andrew directs the question to Leander, who turns to you before answering. “Uhh, well, I, she, she goes with me everywhere.” Leander said fondly. Thankful for the cover of darkness as you feel your face heat up, the men seem to take the answer reluctantly. “It isn't appropriate for women and men to sleep in the same room, there is another room down the hall to the left if you would like to stay here for the night and return home in the morning.” Philip offers, gesturing to the back of the large room to a door. Before going, you turn to Leander, silently asking for an answer. He nods and says, “I’ll help you settle, and clean up that mark on your face.” Philip nods as the two others climb back into bed. “Ill show you to the room, and once you come back, Leander, you can pick one of the free beds.” Both of you nod as Philip leads you to the back of the room. After deeming you two would be alright, Philip leaves you and Leander to clean up and get you settled. Leander sits on the bed watching you silently as you walk around the room looking for where to set your things. You make a strong effort to not notice. “So, why did you actually want me to come?” You turn and ask, breaking the silence and surprising Leander. He gives you a look. “You seemed to pull something out of the air when you came up with that, not really convincing when you sound like you're asking a question.” You explain as you walk around the room, setting the few things you brought around the room, attempting to make it seem a little homey.
“Well I, I don't know to be honest. You were just the first person that came to mind.”
This stops you, turning around to see he wasn't trying to jest, but was being completely honest with you. “I think we should clean up those marks on your face.” He quickly diverts the conversation away from the question and starts for the door. “He wanted me to come along cause I was the first person he thought of?” You thought as he left the room. I mean, it would make sense, you had been close ever since you were teenagers. Both awkward and nervous to make new friends. But the way he had said it made it seem like there was more behind the reasoning.
Leander makes his way to the bed and pats the spot next to him, holding a jar of what you assumed was a home-remedy for injuries. You sit cross legged across from him as he dabs his finger in the mixture and begins to rub it gently across your forehead. “He looks so cute when he’s focused.” The thought comes suddenly and you widen your eyes at your own craziness. What has gotten into you? “You alright? I’m not hurting you more am I?” Leander asks. “Oh no no! I’m alright, sorry.” You sheepishly laugh as Leander gives you a small smile as he gets back to work on your forehead, now moving to your cheek. But what if you meant to have that thought? What if you wanted to have that thought? “And… done.” He pulls back, scanning your face for any more marks. “Make sure you don’t wipe it off before you go to sleep, alright?” He tells you gently. You nod, lost in thought. He gives you one last smile before slipping out, shutting the door behind him.
I hope you all enjoyed! Let me know it y'all would like for me to write a second part to this! God bless all of you and have a wonderful day! <3
love when he cosplays as a carhartt corn-fed midwest yankee american baseball player farm boy who drives a tractor to school and helped the family cow give birth and his dating profile pic is him holding a fish (but all in a way that still votes blue)
Not my usual content but like, I’m remembering these F1 BeReals from last year @ Miami and I wish they did them this year!! 😭 Anyways, enjoy this unscheduled dump!
Feel free to take ss of these, give credit to Puma, and reshare! 🤍
Thinking about John the Beloved Apostle. Don’t get me wrong, the Jesus/Judas dynamic goes crazy, but let us not forget:
John “the one whom Jesus loved”, the Apostle
John “reclining on Jesus’s bosom” the Apostle
John “is it I, Lord?” the Apostle
John “behold your mother” the Apostle
And
John “the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first” the Apostle
Oh, and the common interpretation of John, “the only male disciple among the women present at the crucifixion” the Apostle (none of the others are mentioned, Peter famously tried to follow from a distance and was caught, and the rest were later seen in hiding)
something that absolutely blows my mind every time i think about it is how God's personal name in Hebrew is spelled YHWH, with no vowels, and the only way to pronounce it correctly is to take a breath and let it out.
*inhale* "YH" *exhale* "WH"
EVERY TIME YOU BREATHE, YOU SAY GOD'S PERSONAL NAME.
from the moment you're born, you say His name. your last breath is an utterance of His name. you are constantly saying His name until the moment you pass on from this world to the next
So, I'm thinking my first fic should be Leander (the blonde greek from The Chosen season 4), idk I just have a good idea to make a fic for him. Yes or no??
