Woah how did this get so many notes without a tag?
CEMENT ECLIPSES @ CHIAPAS MEXICO
Artist Isaac Cordal (tumblr / facebook) - “With the simple act of miniaturization and thoughtful placement, Isaac Cordal magically expands the imagination of pedestrians finding his sculptures on the street. Cement Eclipses is a critical definition of our behavior as a social mass. The art work intends to catch the attention on our devalued relation with the nature through a critical look to the collateral effects of our evolution. With the master touch of a stage director, the figures are placed in locations that quickly open doors to other worlds. The scenes zoom in the routine tasks of the contemporary human being”.
This morning I watched "Psycho" by Alfred Hitchcock, and realised I'm getting a bit obsessed with these old films...
Yesterday's film was "The Birds" by Alfred Hitchcock...
Whilst on holiday in Gran Canaria, I ordered Chinese Steamed Buns which were delicious! Can't wait to have them again!
Tonight's film was a 1963 classic, The Great Escape. I did enjoy it even though I didn't think I would have.
Just watched this film for the first time. It's a brilliant film, and the first Hitchcock film I've ever seen! Two thumbs up! ***** 5 Stars.
WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
Music, friends & food!
Haha, Saw these and just could not resist! The inner child in me needed these to take to my new uni room!
Also on my travels today, I came across 3 Vintage Tennis Rackets in one shop and a Vintage Dunlop Badminton Racket a few shops later! Very happy with these as their colours are really nice!
Out today in Newton Abbot, Devon and come across this bargain buy at a grand total of £1 on a market stool! Nice Vintage colours and Styled Printed Colman's Mustard Mirror.
Before and after! Up cycled Vintage Book Dust Jackets into Gift Bags! Was up past midnight making these last night just because I'd only thought of the idea whilst laying in bed! Couldn't wait til the morning to start on them! Didn't want to waste the dust jackets form the books I bought yesterday as they won't be needed for the upcycling project coming up!...
Okay, so may have gone slightly overboard yesterday... Don't know how I'm going to get them on the train with the rest of my stuff... But we'll figure that out later! :D
Picked up some very nice looking books in Teignmouth along the seafront in Devon today! Sneek peek of the next project which I'll be uploading before going back to Northampton Uni in September. Will not be able to do any projects for the next 3 weeks whilst on holiday, but stay tuned!
