My pronouns are She/Her, and you can call me Emily. I use the tag #thecolorfulleo to organize all of my art. It's tagged at the end of this post, click it and everything should be organized of all my art.

For my art I am currently using a Huion digital tablet and Clip Studio Paint Ver. 2 for digital, and in sketchbooks and traditional media, I love pens and alcohol markers (Ohuhu), in addition to playing around with paint.

2025 Art Summary

I am proud of myself for this year. I had some struggles but made it through.

The painter’s muse hardly escaped that harrowing night. Over the balcony, though the darkness as if she disappeared, the day he was taken from the world.

Someone who was deemed unusual, who never fit in among any class, plummeted to the lowest class. Lost her faith in her goddess, to find a man of angelic means, a painter and “friend”.

Was friend the word to call him? Or Strange fellow. Though often she was called the strange one.

This is for a TTRPG I am doing with friends!

But eventually the professor stopped scaring him. The tiefling’s eyes lit up when she would stop by; carrying her father’s forgotten belongings from home.

One day he would ask her out. But that day was not today.

Question I'm trying to learn how to draw TWST Sprites do you know any possible tutorials?

Translation (top): skin base colour -> blush/cheek shading -> shadows -> eye makeup -> highlights

Translation (bottom): eye whites -> eyelash shadows -> eye base colours -> add shadows to the top of the irises -> add more details

Translation: gradients -> add shadows -> add highlights

So I don't think I'll be very helpful here since I've never drawn a TWST style sprite myself, but I recall the official art book has a step-by-step guide on how they colour (here's a link I found with a few photos that I've included above with translations). I'd recommend trying to refer to that or looking up some guides online! I'm sure tons of fans have released tutorials since it's a popular question.

For some of my creative choices? Read below!

So this was originally based on my pfp, I took the outfit I used in that, and did some adjustments.

I have been obsessed with Epic the Musical, and always liked Mythology, which kinda inspired the outfit.

I love being a bunny, but I am called the colorful Leo. Which is more sun motif themed. I used softer pastel colors for a more gentle design. I brought back colors I used in the banner on her skirt, into the earrings she wears, and the gold having a pinkish hue to the highlights.

The waist scarf is a tie back to some of my ocs, I used to always give Ausima the waist scarf cause I thought it looked cool.

The crown is inspired by the ones that used to make their ways around instagram. They felt like a sun goddess. Gold also gives that feeling of warmth. But the pearls are a special touch. IRL I have a necklace that has the rough shape of a choker with draping, just like the one I drew.

She is meant to be more warm and welcoming, as my online persona. And magical in the future. 🪄✨
