A faint chuckle escaped his lips, of COURSE she was staring, it would have been EASY to say she was. John might have managed to drink quite a few beers the night prior, but he was still going to TRY to fake being in a half-way decent mood.

Or perhaps take me out hunting? Both of those possibilities would be quite pleasurable in my opinion.”

A faint chuckle escaped his lips, “Cute? No I wouldn’t exactly say cute, but...if that is what you say.” Not that it mattered too much, he didn’t really care, but he did moved to place a light kiss on her lips, “Maybe both, but for now? I think staying right where I am is the best.”

        “Would it matter if I had a PROBLEM?” John asked as his arms folded firmly across his chest, “Just stay in line, Mr. Wayne. Who knows what might happen in the hallways in the middle of the night.”

Revan hummed softly and sat back a bit. “Well, you might like this side better, but I think I would like him better if he come over here and put his hands on me.”

“You might like this side better, but I can assure you that when my other side comes out? Well, he’s nothing like me, Revan. Simply think of an idiot who can’t understand who he really is.” 

John then moved towards her, “However, I know exactly what I want to do with you, and I have a feeling you will enjoy it far more than anyone. Care to take a guess?”

Revan continued her purring, her eyes glittering as she pressed back. “Let’s make it a game, then, shall we? Who can outlast the other before me make it back to your room.”

“Mmm, I think you have the advantage on me, Revan. Yet, I think we can work around that.” He mused out as he moved to quite literally lift her off her feet, “This might be far more enjoyable for the both of us --- you in my grasp like this. Just think of the idea’s I am getting.”

6. I’m gonna be sore in the morning.

Revan hummed softly as she stretched languidly, smirking at John. “I’m gonna be sore in the morning. And you know what? I’m quite looking forward to it.”

“You wouldn’t, believe me. Arcann only killed him because he was a coward and put his lightsaber through his back, while he was distracted. And perhaps I could have, but there was no point—-I wouldn’t have gained what I wanted otherwise.” Revan replied, continuing to absently play with his hair.

“Oh, I can believe many things, Revan. He might have been distracted, but through the back is too impersonal. We are civilized to an extent --- pain, torture, and making sure to break them so they will beg for death is better than simply ending them quickly.”

She grinned at his words, clearly pleased with herself. “I must admit, I don’t much care which side of you is here—-as I said before they are simply different parts of you, and I love them both.”

“They might be different sides, but I tend to enjoy who I am right now.” He chuckled for a moment, “You might love them both, but I can assure you that only one is the real me, and  he is right here.”

Maz gave John a hard look. “Ask Tari about them. She knows them both better than I ever will, I’m sure. Besides, who she was as a General says a lot about her as a person, I think.”

“I could, but I am asking you, and being a General means nothing, Maz. I was a detective and yet, now? Well, it seems that I am far more than that, understand?”

Alekis purred happily at the feeling of having his hand move through her hair, pressing up into the feeling. “If he’s drunk, do you think he’ll be amusing to watch?”

“Possibly.” He mused out lightly, “I think he would be far more than that, but that just depends. Maybe he will not even be there, but... I know him.”

John paused for a moment before moving to kiss the top of her head, “He will be there.”

She purred happily at his touch, leaning to it with ease. “Well, you did say you were going to carry me.”

“Yes, I did say that, Revan.” He mused out as his lips went to meet her own, “You can be surprised what I can do with my hands... on the move.”

She hummed happily at the kiss, her fingers moving to curl into his hair. “You wouldn’t have stood a chance against Valkorion. And there was no really need to take the deal, but I thought it was too good to turn down. Besides, if he was killed by my hand, I doubt the people of the Empire would have accepted me as Empress.”

“Who says that?” He muttered out as he leaned into her hand, “I would be able to stand against him, but then again? Who knows.” It was then he paused for a moment, “You could have killed him. It would have been easier, but you did what you needed to, Revan.”
