The whole trope about how girls get more compliments than boys brothers me because 20% is girls complimenting each other (which no one stops boys from doing), and the other 80% is creepy men trying to creep us out or make us uncomfortable. It's not a good thing, it's just men showing once again how they think women are on display for them and they can just say whatever they want to us. It goes from "what a pretty girl" to you "slut" in a second
