And this relatively average dragon liked to sew quilts and crochet hats instead of capture fairy princesses and roast dashing young knights alive on their horses with her fire breath. Her fellow dragonkin thought she was basically a huge dork and they did not let her join in any dragon games. So instead, this relatively average dragon decided to embrace her calling and try more things, make more things, and share more things… and prove that crafting IS art.

10 feet of PVC pipe cut into 6 inch sections + gorilla glue + spray paint = colorful, custom storage solution for my COPIC obsession! They are in stackable, 3-tube sections so I can rearrange however I want. Inside of each tube is shiny copper paint. I love how they turned out but damn it took longer than I thought it would to make. (And there are some empty ones on purpose because as you can see from my hex chart, there are still many I don't have yet!)

When everything is going wrong, sometimes it doesn't just feel like a storm that won't pass...sometimes it feels like you become the rain. And if it were to suddenly pass, you wouldn't exist anymore without it.

So I decided to start participating in the Index Card a Day art thing. The idea is to create art every day on an index card -- anything. It doesn't have to be good... it's just supposed to get the creative juices flowing and make you *make* something every day.
