I will be archiving this blog and officially closing the last of my RP blogs on Tumblr in the next few days. It's a decision I've been contemplating on making for a while now, and I think it's time to act on it.

"I don't know much about what's going on in your life," Jason grunted in response, sitting up and rubbing his head. And realizing he sounded a lot more like a bitter ex than he meant to towards a man he'd a) never dated in the fucking first place and b) was actually trying to be a decent fucking human... This is why you don't have friends, idiot.
A huff of a sigh and pale eyes find Roy, blue and green and deciphering any other potential reason the man might be there. It seemed he couldn't decide on one so he rolled his shoulders, hearing a satisfying pop. "I have some food... I think. I can order in. Have you eaten anything since you dragged me here?"
"Well, you would have, had you actually bothered to call every now and then instead of activating your SOS signal out of nowhere." Roy replied in turn, as equally sharp as Jason's response, though he was a little confused as to why Jason sounded so offended by the fact that he didn't know much about Roy's life.
To be fair, he was sure plenty of others who were closer would have answered the SOS. Why did he go out of his way to answer wasn't something he was sure of himself, but here he was, having to endure this behavior. Well, at the very least, the man was alright and he actually woke up.
"Well, unless you have some leftovers you want me to warm up for you, I suggest we'll order in. I'm a shit cook." He only knew some very basic things, and things Lian liked; he may be a wiz with gadgetry, machinery and technology, but cooking was a whole other beast he couldn't quite conquer. Part of it was probably due to his bad sense of smell and taste, remnants from his addiction days.
"Not really, haven't eaten. A little after I put you to bed, I got a nap myself. You're an effort to drag around." He teased.
The Nightmare's attention remains lingering on Rashad's scars. His thumb tracing the divots of reformed skin slowly as he listens to the Dream speak.
A half glance is cast to the desert in order to avoid the weight of Rashad's gaze.
"The reason the first Corinthian was unmade is because he sought freedom." He utters in almost a whisper. As if the word freedom in itself was blasphemous to speak. His attention lingers back to the Dream with nervous unease. Drawing his tongue across his lips while he lets his touch linger.
"In all the memories I possess, you... you became everything that freedom represented." His voice still remains quiet, a glance cast over his shoulder, as if ensuring they were not being watched.
"I want... I want to walk with you." He utters finally, before bated breath is held upon the expectation that he would be accosted where he stood by the manifestation of the Endless.
When nothing comes, his shoulders relax ever so slightly.
There it was again, another caress, making his skin prickle in delight. Rashad's gaze dropped to that caring thumb, the way it traced over twisted skin as Corinthian talked. He could tell the fear in Corinthian's voice, the possibility of his undoing lingering just around the corner scared him oh, so much. Rashad would never want to be his undoing, but wouldn't have Dream prevented his passage here if he had not wanted them to meet?
As Corinthian asked to walk with him, Rashad's eyes lit up and he looked back up at the other Dreamkin, unable to help the mild surprise this caught him by. A pause, as if they were both waiting for something to happen, then a tender smile graced Rashad's lips. He had company, at last. And one that he felt he so desperately craved...
Flipping his arm, he managed to catch Corinthian's hand in his own, giving it a gentle squeeze. If only because he was grateful for the company, doing his best to suppress all expectations of anything more, all the fantasies those old memories come to fashion in his head.
"Let us walk, then. And you can tell me about yourself, Corinthian."

She wasn't entirely wrong. In his head, he was always living in a very dark, isolated place. In his head, he was still deep down in that pool, gasping for air as the liquid filled every orifice of his body, as emotions surged high and he had no one but himself to endure the experience. In his head, he was abandoned, and alone, and he had become someone who couldn't possibly deserve love or joy but had plenty of it to give, though not quite knowing how. Maybe it wasn't that he didn't know how, really, but with whom.
Trust was had for someone like Jason. That much wasn't new.
"Some days it's better this way." He answered after a quiet pause, arms still crossed as he simply watched. "Dark places are safety, at times."

Watching the man come to a slow landing before him, yet his feet didn't entirely touch the ground, just went to show Jason the entitlement on this super man. The two of them hadn't interacted for a very long time, rarely when he was still under Batman's wing, and definitely never as Red Hood.
"Clearly you're not a Gothamite, Big Blue." While the nickname itself was usually used by others in more affectionate terms, there was no escaping the sarcasm dripping from Jason's voice. He didn't holster his gun just yet, and while he knew bullets had no effect on the bigger man from outer space, it wasn't meant to intimidate him. He had other tricks up his sleeve, in case Clark was here to try and butt in on his turf.
"What are you doing here? Bats sent you or something?" Jason kicked a pebble out of his way, leaning his weight on one foot more than the other as he waited for the answer.

The Corinthian frowns softly and nods a little as he recalls the fact that he had been the one to request blue eyes off of Rashad. Why had he done that in the first place? His desire for blue eyes always seemed to stem from something deep within him. A hunger so innate to his Nightmarish self that it only felt natural to desire blue eyes within his head.
The confused soul searching into understanding his former self is interrupted by Amir stepping into the room. He sits straighter and casts a look of confusion towards Rashad when they are informed that his father wishes to speak to the both of them. The Corinthian had all but done his best to avoid Rashad's family since they got here. It's easier to simply avoid them in order to dodge any questions as to his strangd attire or the constant wearing of shades.
But now that doesn't really matter, he supposes.
"What does your father want with us?" The Corinthian vocalised aloud once Amir steps out of the room. Frowning heavily as he looks to Rashad and has his attention drawn to the light shirt in his hands. He stands to his feet and rounds the bed to examine the selection of clothing himself. An unsure expression is written across his features as his mind constantly pulls back to the summons from Rashad's father.
"Yeah, they'll do."
The new mortal catches how agitated Rashad's tone is when speaking about his father. His lips pressing thin as a strange sensation grips at his chest for all but a brief moment. Was it a mild form of dread?
He takes the shirt off of Rashad with an appreciative nod. Feeling the texture of the cloth beneath his hands. Its far lighter than anything he would have worn as a Nightmare. His blue eyes flicker back up to meet his lover's gaze when Rashad places a hand on his cheek, and that dread melts away into one of breathless adoration. Rashad's face stirs something so deep within him that he feels his eyes prickle with unfamiliar tears.
Though, Rashads next observation succeeds in raising his brows up his forehead. Soft lips parting for a halting moment whilst he considers it. A sultry smile drawing across his visage moments later.
"Yeah, I suppose I will."
Rashad couldn't help but notice the entirely different stride Corinthian suddenly took everything with—the hesitation in his words, the stalling in his actions. It was as if he didn't trust his mind and bodu anymore, which was natural given how foreign everything suddenly was to him. Even something as casual as a quickie had to be considered twice; his answer sounded unsure.
"Mm..." Rashad's hand slowly slipped down to brush against the man's neck, then rested on his chest as he leaned in for another kiss. "We don't need to di that right now. I was just offering. The invitation is always open." He whispered before pulling back, and then stepped around to grab something from one of the chests of drawers.
"Breakfast must be ready by now. Dress up and we will go eat."
Dick didn't waste a single second; the moment the cuffs unlocked and were removed, Dick had already lifted himself to turn and settle back on his lap facing him, their gazes meeting once more. Jason's hands instinctively settled on Dick's hips, inhaling a sharp breath through nostrils as the older man's hands traveled over his chest, his chest inflating and lifting to meet his chest, silently longing for more. Their lips collided, slowly and passionately, and his mind went blank.
His hands moved down the line of his body, making quick work of his pants and slipping into his boxers, breath hitching as a shuddering moan escaped him while deft fingers stroked his aching desire gently. The nickname sent him wordlessly praying for the attention; only Dick, and Dick alone, had the right to call him that. It was strange how much power this nickname had over him, coming from his older lover...

He drew closer and placed a hand over his cheek, caressing it gently as he tilted his head. A thought crossed his mind and he chuckled softly, his smile turning into more of a daring grin.
"I bet that with this new you, you'll feel entirely different in bed, too..."
