YOUR ART ON TUMBLR IS BEING USED TO TRAIN AI!
The setting that prevents your work being used to train AI models is turned off by default! I had no idea about this until now! Artists, go to your settings, click “visibility”, and turn on this setting! Protect your work!
《Made a visual guide of how to get there, because it's under a weird tab.
Go to your blog (you have to do this for each individual blog) and the visibility tab
It's this last option here
Hate this shit, but turn it off babey》
I feel like I've really captured their essence
trapped here forever but you're fine you're fine you're fine you're fine you're fine-
flipped version under the cut
IF I CAN'T RESPOND TO A POLL BECAUSE I'M NOT IN THE COMMUNITY, DON'T SHOW IT TO ME !!!
“do you really wanna be on that medication for the rest of your life :(?” yes actually I would love that. I know what I’m like off it
no you don't understand. i *get* to be on this medication for the rest of my life :)

Actually, that vampires can only go out at night is a myth. They can actually only come out at night. They can walk around in sunlight but they have to pretend to be straight.
I’m loving this moment of Vic Michaelis media saturation (they are on many podcasts) like they are out here trying to promote something. And then whenever the question is tossed out of “where can our audience find you” they are just like “anywhere, that’s not important. What is important is Trans Youth and protecting them. Check out these charities get involved with your local charities and help however you are able.”
Top tier brilliance
trans woman should not have to be sexy to you for you to respect them. Aaaaaand post
being anti ai is making me feel like in going insane. "you asked for thoughts about your characters backstory and i put it into chat gpt for ideas". studies have proven its making people dumber. "i asked ai to generate this meal plan". its causing water shortages where its data centers are built. "ill generate some pictures for the dnd campaign". its spreading misinformation. "meta, generate an image of this guy doing something stupid". its trained off stolen images, writing, video, audio. "i was talking with my snapchat ai-" theres no way to verify what its doing with the information it collects. "youtube is impletmenting ai based age verification". my work has an entire graphics media department and has still put ai generated motivational posters up everywhere. ai playlists. ai facial verification. google ai microsoft ai meta ai snapchat ai. everyone treats it as a novelty. every treats it as a mandatory part of life. am i the only one who sees it? am i paranoid? am i going insane? jesus fucking christ. if i have to hear one more "well at least-" "but it does-" "but you can-" im about to lose it. i shouldnt have to jump through hoops to avoid the evil machine. have you no principles? no goddamn spine? am i the weird one here?
Character Creation Update
Player one: I think my character's goal is to live a happy life with their wife and kids Player two: Aww! I think my character's goal is also to live a happy life with your character's wife and kids.
this but im the dm and its every single npc (and all the other players ofc) directed entirely at one player's wife
problem? try burger today!
i wanted an adblocker not a closedcaptionsblocker wtf
my rebrand is complete for each day between now and my return to streaming i will make one (1) doodle of chats choice on a ramen sticky note (also i am officially a pngtuber)

male gaze is not 'when person look sexy' or 'when misogynist make film'
death of the author is not 'miku wrote this'
I don't think you have to read either essay to grasp the basic concepts
death of the author means that once a work is complete, what the author believes it to mean is irrelevant to critical analysis of what's in the text. it means when analysing the meaning of a text you prioritise reader interpretation above author intention, and that an interpretation can hold valid meaning even if it's utterly unintentional on the part of the person who created the thing. it doesn't mean 'i can ignore that the person who made this is a bigot' - it may in fact often mean 'this piece of art holds a lot of bigoted meanings that the author probably wasn't intentionally trying to convey but did anyway, and it's worth addressing that on its own terms regardless of whether the author recognises it's there.' it's important to understand because most artists are not consciously and vocally aware of all the possible meanings of their art, and because art is communal and interpretive. and because what somebody thinks they mean, what you think somebody means, and what a text is saying to you are three entirely different things and it's important to be able to tell the difference.
male gaze is a cinematographic theory on how films construct subjectivity (ie who you identify with and who you look at). it argues that film language assumes that the watcher is a (cis straight white hegemonically normative) man, and treats men as relatable subjects and women as unknowable objects - men as people with interior lives and women as things to be looked at or interacted with but not related to. this includes sexual objectification and voyeurism, but it doesn't mean 'finding a lady sexy' or 'looking with a sexual lens', it means the ways in which visual languages strip women of interiority and encourage us to understand only men as relatable people. it's important to understand this because not all related gaze theories are sexual in nature and if you can't get a grip on male gaze beyond 'sexual imagery', you're really going to struggle with concepts of white or abled or cis subjectivities.
