I'm dying thinking how Scara is canonically really polite towards everyone else in the Akademiya (to the point he has a bunch of fans)
But whenever he's interacting with the Traveler he acts like a little shit. Lmao, like he goes "oooh I'm about to go commit atrocities when you're not looking" To purposely keep them on edge.
Scara loves few things in this world as much as he loves purposely fucking with the Traveler to get a reaction out of them.
Reminds me of that one ship dynamic "really nice guy who is only an asshole to you" that was going around a while back....

finished nod krai quest and became full of yaoiful joy again
dearest work in process i had to abandon (1/3) for a time i was considering posting it on my main blog, but as it turned out, i had lots of unfinished stuff for a big scaraether fic i was making for my best friend. we parted ways, but the fic was still half done, with art and sketches. i feel a bit sad for the story i created to wither somewhere in my folders, so i decided to set it free here. if anyone will be kind to see my love in it, id be much thankful.
I feel like Wanderer would react to Aether confessing love for him with something like "That's the worst joke I've ever heard." (They can't be serious. I don't deserve that.) Then Aether leaves crying and he's like fuck what do I do now.
I HATEEE those scara fans that act like shippping him/making nsfw of him is the worst kind of mischaracterization there is. Especially since a lot of the times their understanding of Scara is just... They read the main quest?

the Traveler is off to Natlan for the final battle (5.3 update) and Wanderer is worried in his own stubborn way, yet the Traveler thought ahead in case they couldn't make it back - asking Nahida to deliver the gift but Wanderer just wants them to be okay
