StrongSuits has entered your woods

His overall…well, everything about him screamed ‘Run away’  but the machete really sealed that.  Of course you’re not worried about some human, given that you’re stronger than most anything. Instead of running back, you dart at him, slamming your shoulder at the serial killer, feeling the handle of the machete hit your back.

This one was strong, that much was for sure. As big and heavy as Jason was, even with his powerful legs pressing back against the ground for support, this strange person still managed to push him back a couple feet. Using his free arm, Jason used his elbow to bash against the grey man's skull, hoping to daze, concuss, or possibly even kill him in the process.

Jason spotted a strange being ahead, one with orange horns and grey skin. Well, one horn and a half. Even with only one good eye, from where he stood, he could tell that this person was just about as tall as he was; A good 6’6” even, if he wasn’t mistaken. And something about him looked off- Other than the obvious, of course- But it was almost as if he had an aura of some sort. Whatever the reason, Jason wasn’t phased; This man was in his forest, near his camp, his lake… Without his permission. And that just wasn’t allowed.

You don’t really control where you pop up when you decide to just take a random appearance.  Though. Forests at night are some of your favorites. Of course the ocasional creepy fellow happens every now and then, but usually it’s just a hunter or something you spook out of the brush.  Some guy with a machete is…unusual, to say the least….Normally you’d introduce yourself but this seems….Well It doesn’t seem like a good idea.

Jason approached the man, who appeared to have already notice him. Well, now that the element of surprise was out of Jason's favor, he need not stick to the shadows, either. As soon as he was within range, he lifted his arm, and brought it back down with easily twice the force of a sledge hammer, machete in hand, aiming right between the horns of the grey intruder.

Jason spotted a strange being ahead, one with orange horns and grey skin. Well, one horn and a half. Helena jerked out of his loosening grip, the ribbons quickly withdrawing as she did so. From the hole in the door, he might be able to see her drop down; he likely wouldn’t see her completely falling into her own shadow as if it were a puddle of water though.

Helena, now in the safety of her own shadow, darted away from the door, hiding under her rather large closet. ’…If he even thinks about touching my corsets I’m gonna rip him a new asshole.’

After determining that the ribbons had only served as a distraction, Jason became rather... upset. He had indeed seen the girl drop down out of view from what little he could see through the hole he had made in the door, as well as some sort of shadow dart away across the floor, and into where he could only assume was where she kept her clothes. Logic would dictate that she was inside, and with presumably no other way out, she'd have to go through him to escape; And that was a feat that, while many have attempted, none have successfully pulled off. It was only a shame that this 'hunt' would be so... unimpressive. For some reason, he expected more out of this woman. So very disappointing. He kicked down the door into her room with ease, and walked over to her closet, ripping the door off of its hinges. As he had though; It was full of clothes. Good, he thought; Cutting through clothes should be easy. And, as expected, all it took was one quick horizontal slice, and the contents of her closet were immediately cut in half.

If he could see him right now- Which would be odd, because he certainly couldn't see her- She'd be getting the full view; He was 6'6" tall, and obviously immensely strong. His cold, expressionless mask, scratched and scarred from his many various encounters with his previous victims, seemed to be almost attached to his head by the flesh. His jacket, splattered and soaked with blood, had small holes and cuts of its own, presumably from the places he had been shot and stabbed before. All of this was topped with his machete; It was larger than most, and the steel had been stained with the blood of all those it had sliced through over the years, as well as the fresh dose it had received from the guards of this castle smeared across its blade. And it was apparent from all of this, that even after slaughtering this woman, his thirst for blood and violence would likely not be quenched.

Helena could only managed a tiny gasp, and even that was cut off as the shadow was slammed against the door. Well, the joke was on him, due to one very crucial but tiny fact;

Well, she is called ‘the shadow’, right?

Helena couldn’t jump into her own shadow yet… that required her to have more freedom of movement… but she COULD, say, slip a few sharp shadow ribbons under the door to tear at his ankles. Which she did, of course.

Jason would have easily snapped her neck a moment after letting her struggle; Feeling his victims squirm in his grasp while they contemplated their decisions up to that point was one of the only things that brought him even a glimmer of satisfaction anymore. However, he was temporarily distracted by a strange feeling at his ankles; It wasn't pain, no, he couldn't feel that anymore. But whatever it was, it was enough to make him look down, inadvertently loosening his grip on the woman on the other side of the door as he stomped on what looked like ribbons at his feet.

Helena was quick to jerk back into the safety of her room, slamming her door shut as she went. She didn’t even bother wiping the blood off her face; the shadow was darting over to her weapons chest, pulling out the first sword she could get her hands on. "You wanna dance, you bastard? Huh? Then we’ll fucking dance!" Helena sneered, clutching the blade tightly in her hands. With that, she ran back over to the door, knowing he was likely gonna try breaking it down to get to her…

She was a witness to whatever he was doing, after all. The blood was in her hair.

Jason's blade jammed into the thick wooden door, the tip would be able to be seen on the other side. However, for him, only a small amount of effort was required from him to pull it free once more. He heard her scuffling around inside her room, and then, a silence. She was waiting for him just behind the door, he could feel it. Nobody could hide from him. Pulling back, Jason slammed his fist right through the wooden planks that made it up, grabbing her by the neck and pulling her back against it sharply.

Helena was roused from her partially booze-induced stupor by by distinct sound of a guard dying. The woman pulled herself out of her chair, bottle still in hand as she walked over to her bedroom door.  And then she did a very stupid thing. She opened the door and peeked out, a curious look plastered on her face, wondering who was killing guards…

'Cause it sure as hell wasn't her or anyone she was familiar with.

What Helena would likely see upon opening the door would be one of the guard's throats being ripped from their body, the blood splattering all over the door, wall... And her face. Jason noticed her out of the corner of his eye, and turned to face her, dropping both parts of his previous victim as he prepared to slaughter this new one. Raising his machete into the air, he brought it down swiftly where her face was located; If this hit, her head would likely be split into two, her brains spilling out all over the floor. If he missed, however, the hunt would be on. Either way, he thought, she would be dead by the time the sun rose the next morning.

By now, Helena had settled into a rather nice chair, a half-empty bottle of some sort of beverage next to her on the table. The shadow was slung lazily over the arm of the chair, seemingly lost in thought as her white-eyed gaze was lost on the fire. Occasionally, she would reach over and take a sip straight from the bottle, before setting it back down on the table.

"Goddesses, what a fucking day…" She murmured under her breath, not realizing that her day was probably going to get worse if she didn’t pay attention.

Barging in through the back way, Jason crushed an unsuspecting guard beneath the door, his sheer weight causing several of their bones to snap as he stepped atop them. He looked around, walking up the stairs towards the general direction of where he'd seen the girl in the window.

If she still had even an ounce of consciousness left in her at this point, it wouldn't have come as a surprise for her to have heard the gurgling screams of the guards outside her door choking on their own blood, while likely trying to warn her of the intruder. To Jason, however, this would be a welcome treat; He loved it when his prey would run. He loved it very much.

Jason was wandering the forest- as usual- looking for anyone who might be trespassing onto his lake. People came there more often than he could ever figure out why; It was only a lake, and one would think he had killed enough people to send a message. But no, they still kept coming.

Although, today, as he wandered the woods, he noticed something strange, almost as if it wasn’t his woods he was in. The trees looked different, more alive and green. He looked back to see where he had came from, but he couldn’t find his path. But he had never gotten lost, not in his forest. Never here.

But as it stood, he had no idea where he was, and so he decided to keep heading straight ahead, towards a small bit of light that he saw in the distance, taking his time, of course, as was his way. He was in no rush.

Eventually he found his way out from the woods, into a large, open field; This was definitely no longer Camp Crystal Lake he was standing in. Somehow he seemed to have found himself in an entirely different place altogether; And, as the lively looking castle in the distance could prove, perhaps not even in his own time.

Meanwhile, in the castle town itself, night was falling. The people were returning to their homes, perhaps exchanging one last conversation with their friends and family before going to rest.

Inside the castle proper, though, it was still as active as ever. Even as the sun fell, Zelda’s own bodyguard, the shadow Helena, scurried fro one room to another. "Ugh… I need a fucking drink.." She muttered to herself, her guard dropping as a headache wracked her brain. She was always a firm believer in the ‘hair of the dog’ method, but it… didn’t seem to be doing her much good right now.

Jason had made his way over to the castle, and inadvertently caught the attention of one of the nightly guards. Not that it mattered, of course; Before he could call for assistance, Jason already had his skull in his grip, squeezing tightly in a crushing hold as he held the guards face against the rapidly moving chain as the drawbridge lowered; The guard had foolishly chosen to inspect the newcomer before raising it up to safety, and now had his flesh grinding off from his skull.

Most of the town was asleep, as was to be expected at this hour. Usually, this would have resulted in Jason slashing his way through each and every individual whilst in their beds, slaughtering the entire town. However, his attention was caught instead by a frantically moving figure illuminated through one of the castle windows.

Jason slit the throats of a few guards as they approached him, causing a small ruckus here and there as some of them saw the others being murdered. But, somehow, he had avoided alerting the entire castle to his murderous presence, and was on his way towards the entrance closest to where he had seen the woman in the window. There was just something about her that, even just from her silhouette, he could tell that she had to die.

He was silent as the two examined each other, simply standing there, breathing heavily.
