Fallout NV as a High School AU is Hilarious
So I was thinking how the Armor of Caesar's Legion kind of looks like old 1950's style football pads, and my ADHD brain went on a tangent.

AU where the entirety of the game is just Highschool.
The NCR is the student counsel, with Ambassador Crocker as a ROTC instructor who helps sponsor it, and also runs the debate team. Caesar's Legion is actually the Football Team, run by the the kind of sexist/creepy history teacher Professor Sallow.
House is not a professor, but a school administrator who's working on expanding the main building (close to the gym) and both Crocker and Sallow are trying to get their rooms/clubs moved closer. This is frustrating for House, because this expansion's supposed to go to the arts department.
Joshua Graham, the English Lit teacher, WAS once really close to Sallow, but after a falling out one summer where Graham was "Burned", he returned and started an inter-faith youth Bible Study.
A lot of the Casinos, and therefore the major players in the strip itself, are all members of the drama department/club, who are slated to benefit the most from the school expansion. All of them, however, have VERY different styles of plays. Benny/the tops like mid-century bops like Grease, Nero/Gomorrah love gritty dark humor (Death of a Salesman/Streetcar Named Desire), White Glove Society like Avant-Garde or period related dramas (Importance of Being Earnest, Shakespeare).
Vulpes Inculta is the two-faced actor/football star of the group who has really AMAZING acting chops, but drops out of plays whenever big games come up because he's hoping for a football-based scholarship.
Boone is a ROTC cadet who just recently got broken up with by his girlfriend who goes to another school by finding out she's decided to date one of the members of the football team. What's worse is that she's also taking care of a cow because she's in FFA, which he has helped her care for at the drop of the hat before, and refers to as "their baby".
Veronica is a member of the computer club, which is on it's last limbs because the president of the club and the rest of the members are fighting over what OS's to use (Linux, Mac, Windows?) and seem to be at a total stalemate.
Raul is the Shop Class teacher, and largely keeps away from the drama involving the other teachers, content to watch westerns and help the students both during and after hours.
Arcade Gannon is an honor-role student who used to be a member of the computer club back in middle-school, but is finding it harder to participate now that his dad teaches middle \-school. He's joined the HOSA division instead, where Julie in all of her punk glory is the President.
