Do not tell me your younger brother would not break down in the middle of class because you guys started talking about your favorite type of subject in school.

Do not tell me your mother would not stare into the mirror with trembling lips wishing she could be bringing you home from the hospital rather than having to escort you away in a casket to the nearest graveyard.

Do not tell me your father would not begin working the night shifts to distract himself of the silence at home because you’re not up until the ungodly hours of the night talking to what’s-his/her-face on the phone because you guys are so in love.

Do not tell me your boyfriend/girlfriend would not go into your room and put on the last hoodie you wore trying to desperately imprint your sent onto their skin so they never forget your smell.

Do not tell me your friends would not stare blankly at the gymnasium wall after the principal has announced your death to the entire school making no sound trying to convince themselves this is just another one of your impractical jokes.

Do NOT fucking TELL ME this bullshit line of how the stars would still appear the sun would still come out the earth would still rotate and the seasons will still change because without YOU you lil beautiful piece of human being none of these people will want ANY of that to happen.

What is love? What is this phenomenon that hurts just as much as it brings joy? There’s so many definitions out there its hard to tell, but realistically, most of them are true. But the most basic, simplest definition of love is this: accepting someone as they are, not taking it personally when they have a bad day and yell at you, but brushing it off and realizing there’s brokenness behind their screams. It’s putting others before yourself, caring for someone before you even think to fix your hair in the morning, its wanting someone else to be happy, even if you don’t get what you want or need. Its the willingness to lose your life for them, forgiving them no matter what, even if you don’t trust them ever again. Love? Its simply a removal tool for all the pain in this world. Its more than a feeling; love is a lifestyle and a choice. And its for more than your significant other; it’s for everyone.

Live love.

Realistically, we're all fakers and hypocrites. We just don't like to admit it. We don't give grace when we tell others to give grace. We swear when we tell others to keep a clean mouth. We covet in our heart and harbor anger toward others when we preach a message of love, forgiveness, and contentment. When we start with ourselves, we begin to make the biggest difference we will ever be able to make in this world.

Why does Satan pour lies into our heads?

You’re a failure to them.” “Your life is pointless, you’re so screwed up and twisted and used, no one wants you.” “You’ll never be anything in this world, all you ever do is fail.” “Is there anyone you’re NOT going to hurt? Jeez, you seem to hurt everyone you come into contact with. You should isolate yourself so you can stop this. Better yet, just kill yourself.” “They’re so much better than you. Why even bother? You’ll never measure up to them.”

Because he hates us. We’re a threat to his kingdom of darkness, so he tries to take us out. But he’s too weak to destroy us himself. He has to turn us against ourselves in order to get us to do what he is unable to do. He is powerless. Choose who you lend your ear to very carefully, or you WILL be destroyed.
