over twenty episodes in and people still calling azune uninteresting. and it’s like. well you’re entitled to your opinion i guess but at the same time… what do you mean. genuinely WHAT do you MEAN.

he’s endlessly loyal. he’s compassionate. he looks for moments of kindness on patrol. he was a child soldier. he doesn’t understand metaphors. he finds out bolaire is a mask wearing a person and his first instinct is to cast mending. his weapon of choice is a war hammer. he smoothed out the terror on thjazi’s face before delivering his body to hal. he loves making lists and having a plan. he understood thjazi’s escape meant his demise and he walked to the gallows willingly. he is a tactician. he sobbed onto hal’s shoulder and apologized for not being able to give him his brother back. he’s built to act like a one man shield wall. he is picking up the torch thjazi left behind. he has abandonment issues and three father figures (so far) (two of them are gone and buried before the story even starts). he is weaving a beautiful web of deceit. he apologized to thimble for lying to her. he remembers everything. he doesn’t know how to let things go. he tells murray he thinks he might die and that one of the best things about her is that she is unflinchingly herself in the same conversation. he’s been at attention his whole life because some general forgot to say ‘at ease’. he made a joke about ass steaks and we can’t be certain if he did it intentionally. WHAT MORE! DO YOU WANT! FROM HIM!
