Wendy: Of course, Alice.

Alice ✉ Wendy Bird
Alice: no more fear!
Alice: i'm going to grab life by the collar and make it listen
Alice: or something like that
Wendy: Good. I'm proud of you, Alice.
Wendy: That sounds good. Things will go well, I'm sure of it. Even if they don't, it's not the end of the world because you still have me and your friends.
Alice ✉ Wendy Bird
Alice: next week. i'm going to tell him on our date next week
Alice: so then he'll have good memories of the movies and the food and then... tada! baby!
Wendy: So you're going to reconnect and then just throw that in there? I suppose that's not a terrible plan. Just don't get scared and not go through with it.
Alice ✉ Wendy Bird
Alice: it's really exciting but
Alice: no i didn't tell him. he doesn't know yet
Wendy: You are still going to tell him right?
Wendy: I can't wait to hear how things go on the date.
Alice ✉ Wendy Bird
Alice: you know how i told you about baby daddy???
Alice: and how we weren't together at all???
Alice: well we kissed tonight and have a date next week
Wendy: Yes. Did you tell him?
Wendy: I remember. Are we getting to a point?
Wendy: Oh my gosh really? That's so exciting Alice!

Looking up from where she was trying to stretch her ankles out, Tina smiled and nodded. “Ballet, yeah. I dance professionally but more often than not I’m told I’m too weak so they stuff me in the back.” The blonde laughed at herself before pulling her legs up, hugging them to her chest. “I’m sorry I caught you off guard. I know I don’t like it when that happens to me, so I should’ve been more mindful.”
"Do you have an injury or something? It just doesn't seem very nice to just put you in the back." She said with a small frown. Wendy shook her head. "Really it's fine. I shouldn't have been so caught up in my thoughts." She said moving to lean against the arm of one of the chairs.
cashmeowtside:
“Oh, come on. Please let me repay you somehow. Just a small cup of coffee at the place right next door.” he extended his hand out to her “I’m Cash, by the way. I probably should have done that part first.”
"Well I suppose if you insist." She replied. Wendy shook his hand. "Like Johnny Cash? Don't think I've heard that before. Its nice to meet you though. I'm Wendy." She said with a small smile.
pctcrspan:
“You don’t– You don’t have to help,” Peter locked the mailbox again and shoved his key into his pocket. He could feel his own disappointment building into anger just standing there, and he did not want to explode on Wendy. “I’ll be fine. You don’t have to apologize. It’s a business, not a hand out.”
"I just...yes ok." She said, glancing down at her own mail. "Well yes, but still. I do hope you won't hold it against me personally. I'm sure you'll find something great." She said trying to be positive.
pctcrspan:
“With what money, Nurse Wendy?” Peter found himself asking dryly. “Those three letters aren’t in my future. It’s… I can work something out. You don’t have to worry about me. Again, there’s probably a better applicant out there just waiting for you. I’m a big boy. I’ll be okay.”
Wendy didn’t really know how to answer him. She felt bad, but she wasn’t sure what she could do to help. “Well perhaps you could get another job for now and save up?” She offered. “I could help you look for something else if you’d like.” Wendy suggested. “I am sorry, Peter. I do think you would have been good with the kids.”
alicatliddell:
Her heart only grew heavier as the m word was stated. Money. It always came down to money. “I don’t want you to have to worry about it. It’s no one’s fault but my own, Wendy, so… I’m forced to face the consequences. A baby shouldn’t have to go through that… Even if I would love the little joy in my life.”
“You’re my cousin, family is here for each other. You’re not alone in this, even if you don’t tell the dad or he doesn’t want anything to do with the situation.” She assured. “So if you want the little one you should keep him or her. We’ll figure everything else out.”
cashmeowtside:
“Oh my god, you’re a life saver.” he dropped the couch down once she was clear, reaching and taking the key, starting to hug her but then stopping himself, realizing that might be a bit strange. “Seriously, thank you so much. How can I pay you? Do you want coffee or something?”
Wendy tensed slightly as he moved closer, not sure if he was going to hug her or not, luckily he didn’t. Wendy didn’t hate touch or hugs, but she didn’t particularly like them from people she didn’t really know that well. “Oh no you don’t have to pay me or anything, really it’s fine.” She said, shaking her head.
teenyballertina:
“It’s just a dancer’s injury,” she replied simply, attempting to roll her ankle but just wincing instead. She sighed as she looked up to the other, twisting her mouth in thought. “I don’t really want to inconvenience you at all. In fact, I’m not entirely sure I greeted you in the first place? I think I was being bold…” Tina sighed and shook her head, giving her a small smile. “Sorry…”
“Oh you’re a dancer? Like ballet?” She asked, tilting her head to the side with curiosity. “You’re not inconveniencing me. I mean if I really wanted to leave and be on my way I could excuse myself.” Wendy shrugged. “No need to apologize. You just sort of caught me off guard is all.”
cashmeowtside:
“Yes!” he said excitedly, moving to the edge of the couch and lifting it slightly “It should be right under there. It was just past my reach”
Wendy knelt down trying to look under the couch. She felt around, and finally spotted it. Grabbing it she pulled her arm back out and moved to stand back up. “This is it right?” She asked, holding it out to him.
teenyballertina:
Tina could tell she caught the other off guard. She wasn’t used to talking to people she didn’t know often, so she wasn’t entirely sure why she was doing it now, but as the woman greeted her, she nodded, still smiling politely. “Living life, I suppose,” she joked, wiggling her toes. “Actually, I hurt myself at work and got sent home so, that’s kinda how my day is going.”
“You hurt yourself? I do hope it’s not serious.” She said, stepping closer to the girl. “Though I suppose it was serious enough for you to leave work.” Wendy mused. She adjusted the purse on her shoulder. “Do you need help with anything?”
pctcrspan:
His shoulders slumped at her response. Of course, she didn’t seem happy saying it to him, but… It felt like he lost his only chance to escape the ‘job’ he had. To say he needed off earlier to live a semi-normal life. And, it all came down to his own stupidity. Peter tried hiding his sadness through a fake smile and nodded, “Oh, yeah. I always forget about that. Hey, maybe next time though– maybe you’ll find a good candidate.”
Wendy bit her lip at his reaction, though she didn’t blame him. “Yeah I mean you seem like you would be good with kids, but unfortunately it’s a requirement. If you got your GED though, it might be a different story.” She said.
alicatliddell:
She chewed on her lower lip for a moment, considering what Wendy said. “I don’t know. It changes daily. I would love to keep the baby… If I were being fully honest. However, I don’t know how realistic it is for me.” Then at the question about her father, Alice only nodded. It was a very sore subject.
“What do you mean how realistic? Are you worried because of money?” She asked. “I’m sure we can figure something out.” Wendy said with a small smile. “I’m sorry, Alice.” She said, not sure what else to say about the situation, not wanting to make her more upset.
teenyballertina:
The life of a dancer never ceased to amaze Tina. She watched her diet carefully, bought knew pointe shoes every three months, and made sure she got enough rest if it was possible. What she didn’t anticipate, though, was getting sent home for her weak ankles. Normally this wasn’t a problem for the little blonde, but she hadn’t been taking her normal precautions, and had fallen over too many times while at the studio. Now, she was stretched out over one of the couches in the lounge, wincing as she wrapped bandaids around her toes. When she heard the door open, though, she stuffed her feet up and under her legs, smiling at the person that had come in. “Hey,” she said simply, tucking some hair behind her ear. “How are you?”

Wendy had just gotten back to the apartments and was walking into the lobby when she saw someone move quickly out of the corner of her eyes. She nearly jumped, having been on higher alert since the texts and grabbing the glove. Wendy took a breath and put on a smile. "Hello. Oh I’m uh fine. Thank you for asking. "How are you doing?" She asked being polite.
