Whoo, feels like Yoko and I fell off the edge of the earth for a minute, taking care of these rascal kids! Can't believe they're 3 years old now. Getting their powers already, too. Early bloomers! Kids surprise ya all the time.

I'm so tired, Kuro. And so sore. But I.. wanna hold them." *Yoko yawns, and gently grabs his mate's hand, trying not to squeeze it. He smiles weakly when he notices the newborns.*

*His eyes went wide and his gaze softened as he gently held the hybrids close to his chest. They were so small, but so adorable!* Oh, Kuro, they're precious.

*He smiled and gently wrapped his arms around his fox, nuzzling him.* Indeed they are. What do you want to name them?

*He purred and gently nuzzled back, glancing down at the boys, then the girls, pointing as he suggested names.* Hm. How about Aspen, Hiku, and Bandit for the boys, and Raven, Violet, and Marigold for the girls?

*He kissed his cheek, and wrapped his wings around him.* I love those names, yes. Also, is it just me, or is Violet small compared to the rest of her siblings?

Happy New Year, Kuro. I'm doing fine, but I accidentally burnt my hand on the toaster. The kids were making me crave toast and ice cream, out of all things."

You were so peacefully asleep. I didn't want to disturb you at all." *Just then, he hissed in pain and his hands instinctively were placed on his baby bump.* Ooh, that one really hurt.

Are you okay, darling?" *He gently puts his hands on top of his mate's.*

I'm fine. It was just a contraction. No worse than a running cramp." *As he eased up, so did the contraction.*

Well, there are only 9 days left until they're born. They've grown a lot." *He gently pulled his mate closer to him.*

Well, in this universe, I'm a hybrid bat. My mom was a fruit bat, and my dad was a vampire bat. Opposites attract, apparently. So I'm a vampire fruit bat. Don't know about the other versions of me, though.

I know. Not much time left until we meet them. I'm so nervous, though. What if things go wrong, Kuro? What if I'm not strong enough to give birth to these babies?

If things go wrong, I'll be right by your side like I have been through this entire thing. You will be strong enough to give life to our kids, I know you will be. C'mere." *He uses his wings and pulls the fox into his arms, kissing his forehead.*

"I just want these babies out of me already. I'm not sure how much more pain I can take from them."

I love you, dear. And I'm gonna love our kids just as much." *He then chuckled a bit as he felt a kick.* Seems like the kids are looking forward to meeting us, too.

"I'm exhausted, Kuro. They've been keeping me awake with all the contractions. It's so hard to sleep."

We can get through this, Yoko. You're strong. Just relax, and I'm sure the contractions will ease up. We're so close to meeting our little ones, darling." *He pulls his fox close to him with a wing, kissing his cheek.*

I know, but Inari, it hurts!" *Just then another contraction hit him and he whimpered in pain, grabbing and squeezing his mate's hand tightly.*

I hate seeing you in such pain, it breaks my heart. But it's alright, it'll be over when they're born." *He gently rubs his thumb over the back of his mate's palm reassuringly.*
