I've just logged onto this account for like the first time in 3/4?? Years and whoa haha like I still listen to the same music however I'm not obsessed with Ryden like I was anymore and I'm not keen on Brendon. (I still love Ryro tho <3)

I wasn't fussed with the new panic album but I'm excited for new fall out boy music (my fav cryptic emo dad Pete Wentz) and the MCR stuff like damn I've seen them play live!! I didn't get to goto the Hella mega tour or the Waterparks show because I'm a dumbass who broke her ankle I'm still mad I waited years to goto the Hella mega tour but anyways

Yea that's my weird little life update

welllllll first of all this is bullshit. he respects and acknowledges the other members. the first split was difficult and it’s only natural that nobody wants to talk about it. there’s a reason it’s called the divorce. i don’t see any of y’all roasting ryan for never talking about brendon and yet here we are. 

second of all, hate to break it to ya sweetie, but this IS brendon’s band. when ryan and jon chose to leave, they CHOSE to leave behind panic. that was their choice. they gave panic to brendon, so if you wanna be mad that brendon has panic now i have two people you can go be mad at besides brendon (hint: it’s jon and ryan) also, it’s not brendon’s fault spencer felt the need to leave? tours are very bad environments for recovering addicts, and spencer obviously recognized that the music lifestyle (also bad for addiction) was not going to help him recover. there’s obviously no bad blood there, they hang out all the time. 

i kno someone is gonna come out of the woodwork and be like “but DALLON” so lemmie answer that for you: the terms of panic’s contract with their management company probably explicitly states no side projects. that’s the terms the management company i work for employs to all the acts they represent. no side projects. which means dallon would be forced to give up the brobecks to become and “official member” and i know and you know he likely does not want that. 

anyway, tl;dr stop justifying your irrational hatred of brendon for DARING to be the final remaining member with stupid bullshit someone in the music industry (me) can easily disprove, thanks. brendon’s saved a lot of people’s lives and if you don’t like him, that’s fine, but stop spouting random “facts” you thought up in your free time, thanks.

ryan isn’t still in a band that brendon started lmao he doesn’t have to mention him. also ryan and jon literally said they expected panic to end with the split they didn’t give it to brendon. and it is super direspectful of brendon to basically claim he wrote all the songs. also never did op say they hated brendon or that he’s unimportant or whatever so can brendon stans stop being so melodramatic

When will shit like this die? It’s been 7 years since the split. Ryan said in an interview that he and Jon ASSUMED that each group would start something new. So no, they didn’t give the band to Brendon and Spencer but they didn’t tell them they couldn’t keep the band either. And Ryan has also said in interviews that he understands why Brendon kept going with Panic, because Brendon always loved panics music unlike Ryan who had moved on and didn’t want to be making that kind of music anymore. Or to be thought of as the emo guy from Panic. Ryan understands and is okay with it so why do his fans still constantly bring this up like Ryan is a fragile little boy who can’t stand up for himself? And if Ryan did have a problem with the way Brendon is promoting himself and his band then Ryan could, you know, tell Brendon himself because they are both grown ass men who have each other’s numbers.

Brendon doesn’t owe all his success to Ryan and Jon either. Jon wasn’t even a part of the first record so Jon owes any success he got to Ryan, Brendon, Spencer and Brent. And let’s be real, P.O. was not a commercial success. Everything Panic is today has been built by Brendon continuing on as Panic. He has put everything he has into the panic we see today so don’t try to take that away from him, he works his ass off for it. And they are seeing the most success right now since Fever. He doesn’t owe Ryan for that.

And, do you honestly think Brendon should be bringing up Ryan in every interview? Also, do you believe Brendon honestly thinks Ryan had nothing to do with Brendon’s success? Before Brendon joined the band they were called something else so Brendon has been there since the beginning. Panic is his band.

Ryan wrote the songs that made panic! famous. While I have no issue with Brendon carrying on and using the old band name (even though Jon said he was very surprised that they didn’t change it) I do have an issue with Brendon claiming to have written Time to Dance, as he did in this interview: http://teamrock.com/feature/2016-09-05/10-best-panic-at-the-disco-songs-by-brendon-urie-interview-dcd2-tour

Bottom line - it’s fine to like panic, you can even like the new stuff more than the old stuff. That’s great, good for you. But for Brendon to continually discount the old members, for him to try to take credit for songs on the first album, and for him to decide to reduce Dallon’s talents down to a touring bassist? That’s not fine.

Ryan wrote the lyrics for the songs, but Brendon wrote a lot of the music and they wrote the other music together. He didn’t explicitly say that in that interview but I’m sure that’s what he meant. He isn’t taking credit for writing the whole song because everyone knows Ryan wrote the lyrics. But even Zack said that everyone in the band added lyrics while making that record. And quite frankly I’d believe him more that some fans who don’t know the band personally.

After po they weren’t as famous. I don’t know if you were around during that time but it was different and there were a lot less people around.

And like I said before, who gives a shit what Jon said, he wasn’t even there during fever. He wrote one album with them. If anyone had claims to be mad about it it would be Ryan. But Ryan didn’t tell them not to go on so…

It’s Brendon’s band and he can do with it as he pleases. If he wants to be the sole member and have touring members that’s his right as he is the band. And no one is holding a gun to Dallons head making him stay in the band if it is so awful being reduced to a touring member. They worked on songs together and it didn’t work out. Move on like they obviously have.

Ryan literally does not give a shit. He is happy for Brendon. Ryan is happy to be doing what he is doing.

Be whatever kind of fan you want to be but why cut down Brendon for everything he has done because he doesn’t mention his band members from 7 years ago in every interview from now on?

And I have never said that Brendon hadn’t done problematic things in the past. But then again is there any adult who has never done/said anything problematic? If you know of any submit them for saint hood.

Heres the thing im really concerned about. Jon had said that Spencer and Brendon agreed to not continue on the Panic! name but they still did, and people say that and its the truth but some people come in here and twist the thing and say that Jon didnt think they would keep the name. But Jon had said he was mad about the fact they kept the name. I dont think Ryan said much about it, but I think he wasnt really happy either.

Another thing with the fact that brendon “did everything to make panic successful” is that do you guys not notice that ryan gave up a lot of things for panic? He gave up a full ride scholarship to university of nevada a semester in just for panic! He wrote some very personal songs and still released them on Fever. He was literally the person who got them to get a record deal. He was the person who made Panic! Even get noticed and I dont know how you guys think they are most famous now. They will never have the amount of success they had when Fever came out. Not even close. He is also the sweetest person in the world. I dont get how people hate him just for leaving Panic! He has made mistakes, everyone does, hes a true person.

Another thing i really dislike is that Ryan has responded to people wanting him to rejoin Panic! And he said he would like to go back, but Brendon has clearly just stated “nah” like he has no respect for the original members of the band. Ryan was one of the two members that officially started the band and the person who got them noticed and Brendon has no sincerity about that. I wish Brendon would actually think about the fact that he wouldnt be famous without Ryan.

Also i have a massive hate to many brendon stans. Its not because i dont like brendon, or the fact i dont like them, i do love brendon and some brendon stans. Its because some of them would attack ryan stans for just stating there opinion on brendon like “i dont like him because of blah blah blah” and they would go and cyberbully them like wanting them to die and such. And i really hate that. A friend of mine got so many threats for calmly talking about problematic things brendon has done to a popular blogger who was really rude about it. So if you are one of those please stop.

I love Panic! at the Disco throughout every era. I believe they deserve the popularity unlike other artists. Im honestly a ryan stan, but i really dislike the stans who think he is perfect (who am i to talk). Nobodys perfect as Hannah Montana would say. I believe every single past member deserves respect (except for maybe brent wilson) but these are a few of the reasons i like brendon the least, as he is a but problematic. One day ill probably make a list of why every panic! member is problematic in a way. Except jon cuz jon is to kind. But i did this to set some things straight.
