#okay so basically this is part of the act of contrition which you say when you go to confession#(which dean totally left out but that’s a different story)#where after you’ve listed your sins you apologize and reiterate full acceptance while promising to do better#all with this prayer#and I feel like this act of contrition is exactly what dean is crying out from his heart#and I’m screwing with it a bit because you’re supposed to say it to God but I think dean is crying out for Sam#and so he’s not replacing God with sam#but given that he doesn’t have faith in anyone else… this belongs to sam (x)
