The folks over at The Huffington Post were kind enough to talk about our and Ché Café Collective's situations. Long Live The Che and Dial 2.0 will be hittin' ya in the near future. ------- October 2014 marked the end of The Dial Collective at our Date Street location. While this was a heavy hit to us as a group, it did not mark the end of this project as a whole. We're still trucking forward and are working on finding a new location to continue to grow. The wait seems lengthy, but we'd rather take our time and do it right instead of rush only to fall under the same predicament as before.
Few days late, but we would like to take a second to thank everyone for making the trek out to Gallery Night 13 and to all of the artists who showcased their killer work in the event. After this past Saturday we are one step closer to Dial 2.0 becoming a physical thing. Long road to go, but we are getting there slowly but surely. So it has been a while since we dropped an official update on our current relocation situation, time to change that. Even though we have been fairly silent on social media with the happenings/future of The Dial as a physical location, that does not mean we haven't been working like crazy to keep the ball moving. We are currently in discussion with the cities of Temecula and Murrieta to see which city will best support our long term goals. Though we were previously asked to leave our Murrieta location we have reconciled our differences with city council and came to an understanding. So now we’re concentrating our efforts on promoting events as benefit shows to secure a permanent location. We feel this will not only help our collective but will raise awareness about keeping DIY culture alive and thriving. If you believe in us or the movement in general, let our cities know that there is a need for this venue.
