So funny!
After kids, it becomes more and more difficult to be the partner we've been before. One mom makes the case why in a letter to her love.
This is exactly whi I don’t want to be married with kids.
I AM the spontaneous, beer drinking, sexy bad girl and I want to stay that way :)
Photoshoot with their dog... Haha
Gender bias
Some time ago, I had a couple meals out with a friend and his son. First waiter automatically turned to me to order food for the kid. I just have him a blank stare. At another meal, the Waitress took our orders and when she served us our meals, she naturally wanted to put the kid's plate in front of me so I could cut food/feed the kid. It's funny how people just automatically assume the female is the primary caretaker in that situation, that she's the one who decides what food the child will eat or is in charge of feeding. It's something a lot of us don't really think about and it definitely made me hyper aware of the natural bias and expectations people have.
A little harsh but sometimes true. I actually do care about my friends' babies but I do wish we could talk about other things too.
This is an actual post I just saw on my FB timeline. I don't know the person directly. TMI...
For the record, I don't hate kids but some of this video is funny!
So first off, don’t get me wrong: - I respect the beauty of all women - I believe all women should have self respect, believe they are beautiful and deserve to have others tell them so - I get that women, moms, parents in general are busy, tired, overworked, under appreciated
That said… Come on ladies, it’s ok to keep shaving your legs, take a shower, look nice both for yourself and your man. Hey I wear sweats at home too sometimes but let’s not lose some of the things that make us attractive or feel attractive. Let’s not stop trying. Let’s not get lazy about keeping the desire in our relationships. You're not so tired that you can't put some effort into it. This goes for men too.
This is saw awesome! Everytime I see these family sticker things on a car (or more likely a minivan) I cringe at its stupidity.
No no no to family Halloween costumes
Don't mean to offend anyone but why oh why dress up everyone in the family? I mean maybe if you had some cool witty idea but don't dress up as animals together or characters from a Disney movie, etc. Totally cool if your kids dress up but it's really not that cute if you do too. Have you lost all dignity after becoming a dad that you are ok with wearing bunny ears?? And if you do it for the sake of fun for your kids, don't put the pics on Facebook for your colleagues and bosses to see. *sigh* sorry for the mini rant.

I am aware this will make me look like I really hate kids and parents. I really don’t. And yet these things are all still true.
10. Displaying a Baby on Board sign will make people drive safer.
9. Your friends don’t mind if you bring your kids to their wedding reception.
