I know the little magnet on treadmills that you attach to yourself is there to help if you fall so your hair doesn’t get caught and the treadmill rips your skull off or whatever. So I wear it because I live alone. But I’m not sure if they ever considered what happens if your on the treadmill and accidentally pull the cord. i'm actually so tired of speaking with f1 fans who just don't have an opinion on Arvid. and i mean like i ask them, "what you think of Linblad?" and they literally just like shrug. they'll have opinions on anything and everything and everyone else, even on like Cadillac and Aston Martin despite the fact that those two teams aren't even like relevant this year, and yet when you ask them what they think of the sole rookie's performance this year, you get some variation of "i don't really care" or "i haven't paid attention to him" or "he's whatever".

'Whatever'? Linblad is giving us an INSANE F1 debut and people just think, 'whatever'? i'm going crazy are we even watching the same sport? literally every race he gives us a performance. he is consistent and calculated and talented and incredibly intelligent and humble and so fucking cool. if their opinion is 'i don't really care' and yet they've got something to say about like Hulkenberg or Gasly being underrated or about how the rookies did last year, all i can think is, 'ah, it's racism.' like you cannot claim to care about the sport if you are ignoring one of the best performances this year and a very solid indicator that we're watching a future world champion in the works. you cannot claim to care if you are not at least watching this guy. i am sorry i just don't want to fucking hear it.

I don't know why McLaren comms thought putting Randy on Sky to essentially admit that there's no accountability or accepting of blame when they make mistakes was a good idea but it was Not A Good Idea.

It’s not that I want your average McLaren worker to be scared for their jobs. Overall. As a company on the broad level this is a good idea. Mistakes happen and your staff will work better and be more creative when they are stressed all the time.

But I do think that their head of racing strategy should actually be answerable for the teams racing strategy. Eventually someone does need to be held accountable and it should be at the director level.

I find there to be something particularly insidious about how many women they’ve hired to promote those meta ai pervert glasses.

It’s almost as if they know that a man wearing those things is one of the most terrifying things on the planet and they want us to think this is something women would choose to wear.

I have lost complete respect for every woman I’ve seen advertise them. The cheque cannot be that important.
