Steve Lewis our artist in residence
If you have eaten at our pub you will have undoubtedly sat beneath one of Steve's beautiful paintings. Steve has graced our walls with his natural and delightful paintings of our local coastline since we opened in 2013. Our customers adore Steve's gentle oil paintings and pastel work, we have even had a customer drop by to his studio after seeing his work and buy three paintings.

Today we say our final goodbyes to our talented Sous chef @yusuflovett . He's been with us since we opened in March 2012 and is what #TeamDuck is all about. He's a top guy and we will all miss him. @yusuflovett goes onto work with David Everitt-Mathias @lechampignonsauvage the two star restaurant in Cheltenham. We say goodbye to Yusuf
When we opened in March 2013 we hit the ground running. Yusuf joined us sous chef and has blessed us with his hard work, dedication and creativity. Yusuf has been a loyal part of #teamduck since the beginning.
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to him this week. We are however all thrilled that he is moving onto great things at the two Michelin starred restaurant run by David Everitt-Mathias, Le Champignon Sauvage in Cheltenham.
A heartfelt goodbye from us all here at #TeamDuck We wish Yusuf the very best of luck in his new and exciting chapter.

Goodbye Carly!
This month we say goodbye to our waitress Carly. After a year with us she will be moving on to a new horizons. It has been great to have a little bit of Watford in our North Norfolk pub and you will be missed by staff and customers alike.

The busy Duck Inn is hiring! If you love the look of our food and want to join our young, vibrant and ambitious team then we would love to hear from you.
Sous Chef: An experienced sous chef, used to cooking in a busy high level kitchen. Must have solid sous chef experience already. This is a full time position, salary dependant on experience.
Front of house seasonal staff: Part time, seasonal staff required for half term, Easter and summer holidays. This would ideally suit students looking for holiday work. Experience helpful, but not necessary.

Burns Night & Valentines Day
Now we are all dusting off our Christmas and New Year over indulgence, eating salads and attempting dry January it's time to throw that all out of the window and sip a wee dram on Burns Night. We shall be celebrating Burns Night on January 24th with Ben's take on Cock a leekie, Haggis from the marvellous Macsween Haggis in Edinburgh and his stunning version of Tipsy Laird.
Sam Handley will be serving up Whiskey Mac's on the bar for those that love a warming tipple.
Valentines day Saturday Feb 14th
To celebrate the romance this February we are offering some delicious sharing dishes. Ben is bringing back The New Yorker rib steak for two and depending on the best fish that day either turbot or brill to share cooked on the bone. Sam is offering up Peach Bellini cocktails on the bar and we are chilling my personal favourite the pink Laurent Perrier.
