I’d also like to add in that we have verbal confirmation that Papyrus is an incredibly tough opponent. Undyne, the captain who took on Asgore (also a freaking tough opponent) until she beat him, says that Papyrus is “pretty freaking tough” The only reason Papyrus wasn’t in the Royal Guard was because Undyne thought he was too nice and wouldn’t be happy when he saw all the murder that would have to happen if a human did fall! I don’t know about all of you, but I died like 4 times to Undyne during her sequence so I consider her a worthy boss. If Undyne says Papyrus is tough, I’d be well-inclined to believe her! This has been a “Respect Papyrus PSA” 😊
