I was on a tumblr detox centering in my real life and master stuff but the kooks brought me back there because first things first I’m a fangirl

The Kooks are playing today on my city and I just showed at the door 1:30hs before open and there are just me and other girl I’m speechless what a pleasure

Guys I just went to Liberty Belle pub here in Dublin cuz Fontaines D.C played here and to take a pic of the bar and two men of like 40/50 years invited me pints, enrolled me a cigarette and one of them told me he knew Hozier before being famous and also told me that Fontaines guys lived in the neighbourhood I was freaking out also he gave me his phone number because he’s a landlord and has a flat in case I need to rent someday or if I need help with anything I love Ireland part 1000.

Also I’m very proud of myself because they told me I have a very good English and because I even managed to understand one of them because he talks full closed Irish even English speakers asks him what he’s saying

Guys yesterday after the concert I went out with my friends to a disco and of course it was full of people who went to the concert to so I stopped a random guy with a wunderhorse shirt and I waved mine saying great concert so I started to talking with him and his friend. They were from Belfast and we started to talking about music and when I said I was a massive fan of catfish and the Bottlemen the guy with the merch shirt said no way! And told me he had just seen them (I can’t remember the exact show) but we started kind of fangirling and talking about van. He told me he was supposed to see them last year here in Dublin when the cancellation happened and say that they were incredible live. We talk about how Kai and James were such a good replacement for the guys and the most hilarious thing is we started to talking about van’s sideburns lol. He told me he preferred him with short hair and started to laugh when I told him I started to love the band the minute I search for the band and saw how handsome Van was. We chatted about music, football n stuff, I even showed them nothing but thieves and the snuts, weird to me as a Latin American showing English people English musicians and I exchanges instagrams with this guy because the next week me and my friends are going to Belfast just in case I need some recs. and was very sweet, he and the other, and join us the girls in our way home because they were staying near in our neighbourhood. And when we parted ways he hugged me and said it was nice to meet us and his friend did the same they were so cute.

I think I’m having a moment of revelation cuz I’m at the bottom of the bus in a tour guide to Moher cliffs from Galway and the guide is talking about the magic of Ireland and how the story is related to music and stuff like that. Maybe it’s because I’m a little bit tipsy cuz I’ve had a pint with nothing on my stomach and I drank it before in less than 15 minutes but she started to play while talking In the I still haven’t found what I’m looking for by U2 and I started to have goosebumps. Like I always pictured myself daydreaming living in London on my ideal life but I never felt like I’m doing now. And seems so curios to me rn that exact song because of the title, I thought I always had very clear living in England but I’m liking here so much idk maybe I’m just a little drunk but I can’t help thinking bout the fact that the guide, who’s also Argentinian lol, talk about coincidences of life that made her staying here (despite she has an Irish father and being rised in this culture) yeah and that I’m just yapping.

Also I have been having a tons of coincidences like where I’m living in Spain, Galicia, is believed (not the most accepted theory tough) that Celtics originated here and migrated to the north instead of them going down and they have a similar mythology. I have the option to do an intership in my career and I choose a folk editorial who made me work on a draft of a book defending just this very same theory and I’ve read a lot of Irish music and things that goes back to primigenial societies and I’ve been to cultural events where they played folk Galician music which has a lots of pipers, fiddlers and tambourines very similar to Irish music for this reasons. It’s like all recently has been leading me with things related to here.

Music is my life and I love the environment that revolves around it and as I’m writing this I feel a lump in my throat and I’m feeling emotional to the point to wanting to cry
