After the success of The Naughtical Necessary, I decided to create this, The Captain's Commode!

The Captain's Commode is another close stool that can be utilized by all your historical sims. Although it's still stuck in the open position and there's still a ghost doing all the work of cleaning it after each use, it can be positioned anywhere your sims need a toilet. In fact, the Captain's Commode is even more historical because it can be carried around in Sims's inventories for use anywhere! On progress or adventuring, the Captain's Commode is readily available. It also stores in storage chests.

The Captain's Commode is base game compatible and comes in 16 swatches. It's also available off-the-grid.

Finchwick Church

This staple Church in Finchwick, Henford-on-Bagley, has stood on this hill for 200 years. Now your Sims can get married amidst all of this history.

So I finally bought MWS after they patched it, and for this reason - so I could build a little traditional English gothic church.

However, this lot doesn't have direct sunlight so photographing it was hard but did you also know that churches should always be build with the altar facing East to align with the sun rising. Turns out I have made the opposite of that so prepare for some bad luck in this fella.

Functional Bread Basket with All-You-Can-Eat Bread (Requires Get to Work)

Do you want a portable bread basket that can supply your busy Sim with infinite bread-based snacks? Of course you do! It's perfect for camping, exploring, picnicking, or just packing on calories while you're lounging around your homestead. It works a lot like the cooler, except it dispenses baked goods instead of cereal, yogurt, and granola.

HOW IT WORKS

The main file includes the basegame breads (pan de muerto, challa) plus all the breads from Get to Work (white bread, whole wheat bread, carrot bread, banana bread, cheesy bread, artisan herb bread, sourdough bread, potato bread, croissant, and breadsticks). I also tacked on gluten-free bread, because that's what I'm forced to eat in real life.

If that's still not enough bread for you, I've created individual add-ons for four other expansion packs. The Cottage Living add-on puts milk bread and lactose-free milk bread on the roster. Get Together adds breadrolls, Horse Ranch adds pan de campo, and Adventure Awaits adds fairy bread (children will prefer this option if you include it).

Hungry NPCs may autonomously approach the basket and grab a single serving for themselves (played Sims will not use it autonomously). The bread is FREE! The ruling class hath decreed: let there be bread and circuses for all, lest the teeming masses rise up and overthrow their oppressors.

KNOWN ISSUES / CAVEATS

If your game is prone to lagging like mine is, there may be a delay between when your Sim grabs a serving, and when the plate and/or food actually appears in their hand. This is a problem with the in-game lunchbox, too, so please forward your complaints to EA. Keep in mind that the Breadbasket utilizes custom coding and may break after an update! Always keep these sorts of items in a separate folder, so that if you start getting errors, the likely culprits are all in one place.

I did not make the mesh for the breadbasket! The original decor piece was made by @momo-cc, who 1) generously listened to me babble on and on incoherently and 2) gave me permission to use it. You can find it here.

Winsbury Manor is a grand Tudor-style estate built in 1490, nestled in the heart of Whispering Glen, Ravenwood. Steeped in history, this manor boasts intricate architectural details, lush landscaped gardens, and an aura of timeless elegance. With its meticulously preserved features and rich legacy, Winsbury Manor offers a rare glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of a bygone era, blending heritage with enduring charm.

Winsbury Manor stands as a testament to centuries of power and conflict. Established on land claimed by the Kingdom of Henford after their decisive victory in the Battle of Whispering Glen in 1485, the manor was completed in 1490 under the command of Lord Governor Winsbury I. Serving as Henford's seat of authority over the Kingdom of Ravenwood, it remained a symbol of dominance until the tragic Siege of Winsbury in 1532, where Dutchess Annelise Winsbury, the last resident, perished at a young age of 17, marking the fall of Henford's control. Left abandoned for decades, the estate was revived in 1609 by the Ravensworth family, who meticulously restored and modernized it through the centuries. In 2020, the Lesmana Enterprise acquired the manor, ushering in a new chapter for this storied estate, blending historical preservation with modern innovation.

JIANG HU set - part 1

This is a series full of traditional Chinese martial arts vibes. I plan to update it regularly but not on a fixed schedule, gradually building a complete Jianghu world within The Sims 4.

This update features an outdoor tea stall or tavern scene, including tables and chairs, a bamboo sunshade, and table decorations.

I had originally planned to include a plum blossom tree, but after five days of trying, I still couldn’t get the lighting, swaying, and seasonal changes right, so I’ve decided to leave it out for now.
