The Emerald Forest Hideout was constructed by Fae architects at the end of the 16th century. This was at a time when the persecution of witches was at its height. The Fae and their witch counterparts had long worked together - a beautiful relationship that was as old as humanity itself. When they could no longer bear witness to the slaughter of good-hearted and genuinely loving human beings, The Fae set about building a series of manor house-like "hideouts" across the land, as places for witches to reside in complete safety. Unfortunately, time and the destructive hand of far more ruthless humans, have destroyed all but one of these sacred sanctuaries. The Emerald Forest Hideout is now the very last of its kind, but continues to act as a safe haven and as a place of refuge to all that seek it, just as it has done for centuries.
